No, its not an entirely different ball game than car drivers, being on a scooter does NOT give you permission to run red lights or down the wrong way of a street, all it does is make riding more difficult for riders that actually follow the laws, use the advantages of bike lanes and sidewalks to make your scooter ride worthwhile, but for the love of god, when these things are as legally debatable as they are, especially considering they are already outlawed in many countries, we in the US have to lead the example of how to properly integrate them into our transit system, when people ride however the hell they want because its convenient, they risk riders rights not only all across the country, but across the planet

Thanks. No, this scooter doesn't have an interchangeable battery and I'm not sure if you can add an additional one. Chris just knows how to maximize the range on his.
