AoLL is interesting, a lot of people bemoan it being OP but it's SO easy to counter. My local group figured it out quickly: It dominates campy, defensive, or high shooting players but absolutely gets smashed by Rohan (ALL throwing weapons get that sweet +1 against anything that isn't a goblin!) or monsters. I've been playing it a bunch and dominated early on but it's weaknesses are very exploitable imo
Oooh that's very interesting man thank you. I was thinking of starting a fun rohan army but it might end up being competative with all the AoL lists hahaha
@@jmaccsarmiesofArda Definitely! I will say too that AoL likes to chow down on smaller elite armies, BUT getting lucky dice rolls is a huge huuuuge part of that outside of enraged wargs or spiders. The +1 to Wound on shooting is really cool up until you realize it's gatekept by 5+ shooting (6+ if they're scooting around)
Hello! greetings from Spain. Good game I played against Iain in the WTC with a good beer included. My Beornids held up very well against their Assault on Lorien list.

Assault on Lothlorien is OP and needs a Nerf. In Germany almost everybody says that. Even the AOL players admit that it is OP 😂 44 Player event this saturday and sunday in Hamburg, Germany. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place all played Assault on Lothlorien. It's dominating the german Meta like nothing else
If 44 ppl are taking it, why dont people to start running lists that counter it. Mass troops and lots small hero's will destroy it as they don't have enough bows or magic to deal with it. Show them who's boss 😆

The Night Rule, +1 shooting, +1 in combat while outnumberimg, re roll all magic dice, free spider upgrade, 15 instead of 12 troops with the 3 named shamans, 12 with the other shamans. There are just too many busted special rules at once 🤷♂️
@Constantin Haunert ahhh OK sorry I'm an idiot I thought it was the 100player event. That's still pretty crazy. I think I might have a list that can beat it, it's doing well so far but needs more testing 😀

He lost against AOL and played later a draw. So yeah, if you win against AOL at tournaments let me know 😂 Actually TOs jn germany are starting to ban AOL. At a big event in April and a smaller event in May AOL and Black Riders are banned
