The English translation method has been changed. Because of this, there might be some parts that are difficult to hear, I would be very happy if I could get a lot of opinions from you.
The Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice seem to be upgrades to the original Freedom and Justice Gundams rather than the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice. Due some treaty, their nuclear engines were disallowed after the war. Even the dragoon system must have been disallowed as well. So they are probably being kept in storage. This was what happened to the Unicorn and Banshee Gundams in UC timeline.
not upgrades, downgrades. they do not have the n-jammer canceller reactors. meaning much lower output. if anything, they look like mass or limited product version of those machines. there's no way you can look at the immortal justice with its lack of fatum backpack, and see anything but a downgrade. they look liker cheaper models. even their transformation feels like a way to add some of its cruise speed back.
The Dragoons not being there is more likely due to energy consumption, though with Akatsuki's equivelant it shouldn't be a problem so it may be banned as part of the post-Destiny treaty.
@@marcosdheleno I feel like they use these versions because they wanna respect the laws and using suits with N-jammer cancellers might put them as threats to everybody and become enimes of the world they wanna protect
I'm 100% sure there will be new machines in the final battle. There's no chance that Rising and Immortal are the 'true' ones... They look like rejects from Freedom and Justice, if you ask me, lol.
the new units are also not nuke powered. so its possible that the solid shield is the main shield, with the beam shield used as a last resort as to not abuse the batteries.
That's my thought as well. Also, that's probably for very same reason the use of Agni on this MS, instead of Calidus, Balaena, or Scylla, since those type of weapons differs in how reactor generates the energy. But what interest me is that the Agni was originally OMNI's product.
@@kingkitty026 but they ARENT upgrades to the originals either. if anything, they are slight downgrades. its kinda like the impulse. technically its as capable as the freedom, and is more versitile. BUT it lacks the nuclear reactor which gives the freedom the upper hand in practice. its the exact same thing here. those units are superior to the impulse, but still not as capable as the originals. specially the justice, which lost its main weapon pack.
I agree, both machines are a vastly downgraded version of their nuclear counterpart, but they are built with latest technologies. The trailer shows RF’s cockpit having a 360 panoramic monitor, which is a first in SEED series. The shield is also there to somewhat replace the role of DRAGOONs that’s lost in RF, or a FATUM replacement for IM J without being a power-hungry weapon. It’s very similar to the second-stage series MS when they first came out. It’s just that they cannot go all out with the armament due to its power-plant. Plus, them being the Compass that’s supposedly a war-deterring organization officially recognized by all factions, compliance with the treaty is a must. If I were to guess, they deal with small to medium scale of conflict on a regular basis, which could also be the reason why they do not need nuclear-powered MS, yet. We got the new SF and IJ coming based on the leaks anyway so uh, yes it will not be their main machine throughout the entire movie.
I think thematically, it's difficult to create a challenge for the main protagonists when their MS are the literal strongest in their timelines and escaped essentially unscathed from the last war. It would also make sense in their post-Destiny future, storing Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice, and using weakened treaty abiding Gundams instead. Thereby making these new Gundams the successors to both the OG Destiny line, but also the new yet to be seen line of MS.
You know as much as I love the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice this makes a lot of sense. I’ve been trying to figure out what happened to the two MS but this makes sense.
while im sad to see a downgrade, im also happy to see a series actually step back in the powercreep race. we never see this kind of development in any other gundam. and while im sure we will see a powered version of the freedom or the justice. im happy that they were able to pull back and allow it to flow in a unexpected direction.
One of the thing that I love about Seed Destiny is the fact that Freedom is still a menace eventhough it's supposed to be outdated. It makes sense that in the movie SF and IJ will still be a powerful machine hence they need to downgrade it first with the battery powered machine. I agree with this vid that later on it's highly likely that we will see the improved SF and IJ.
honestly me too. Now its a show of skills rather than power. Best scene in destiny is when Athrun pilot a mass zaku to wreck people or kira in the Strike
This actually makes sense. Both Kira and Athrun now belong to Compass, a peacekeeping faction (like the UN) jointly formed by all three factions; Orb, Atlantic Fed, and ZAFT, whose accepted treaty prohibits the use of nuclear-powered weapons among other things. Therefore, their machines must also be non-nuclear, they need to carry a less power-demanding loadout for energy efficiency and weight reduction to lessen the stress when in Mobile Armour mode, which is a must-have for high mobility maneuvering that Kira and Athrun are used to while maintaining energy efficiency.
I feel that the theory that because of the peace treaty the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice can’t deploy as easy as before unless an mayor threat is at hand, and they may have been stored in case of emergency like the Freedom was after the first valantine war, has solid merits. And because of that blue Kira and Athrun would need new machine that they can pilot in regular maneuverses, which are in accordance with the peace treaty of the second valentine war. Although I’ve seen comment of people seeing that the Immortal Justice me be piloted by Shin instead of Athrun, because on the scenes show in some of the teases where he’s seen doing some espionage, maybe near the beginning of the story and maybe the on who finds about whatever the new villains are plotting, and white that is Shin who pilots the Immortal Justice, and has it wrecked along side Kira’s Rising Freedom and the after that’s we get our traditional mid-series or mid-movie upgraded machines in this case. Where they could be the originals Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice but somehow upgraded and change (‘cuz bandai has to sell new gunplay XD), and that might explain the rightful odd situation of having new Machine or the Freedom and Justice lines and aren’t a step up from their predecessors. P.D. Similar like to me the fact of since the Remastered Aile Strike the 1/100 Master Grade like change the articulated thumb and remaining 4 fingers having and index and other fingers counted articulation to only thumb articulation, and the remaining 4 fingers being swappable fixed poseed figures pieces, which to me in a step back.
Got a feeling both of these machines are going to fill a similar role to the "Savior" that Athrun was made to pilot at the beginning of Seed Destiny, which, unironically, was a non-nuclear, variable-type machine. Odds are, Rising and Immortal will be sufficient for now, but I feel as typical with Seed, and Gundam in general, there will be some Shadow Force at play that will curb-stomp them towards the halfway mark (possible betrayal by Compass), forcing them to roll out the "Big Guns" (and reactivate Terminal) in the form of a restored/upgraded Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice.
Or they upgrade the IJ and RF with the engines and weapons of their older Freedom and Justice as the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice are unable to be used due to the tech being compromised.
Gundam Seed: Yo can I copy your work here? Cross Ange: Sure big bro, happy to return the favor. *Gundam Seed Freedom MA modes* Cross Ange: It's.... unique! (don't laugh don't laugh)
Or, maybe, the new enemies have an upgraded Neutron Jammer to counter the old cancellers of ZAFT machines. Though that doesn't explain why this machines are ready or set-up like this in the first place
Something to note that the poster of the Seed Freedom movie shows the new Freedom and Justice standing surrounded by various fallen Striker pack weapons but also MS wreckages as well like the Strike, Freedom and even Strike Freedom. And the crafts above are the Murasame and the Archangel.
Audio seems fine, and is consistent with previous videos. Onto the video topic: I can believe that Rising Freedom/Immortal Justice are just forerunners and would be upgraded or replaced at the end.
I feel like SUNRISE introducing transformation functions into this series of machines is just them putting in practice before they tackle the next Macross series. 😂 Audio is fine. Thanks for continuing to make these videos! I feel like I understand the world of Gundam much better after watching them. 🙂
They're Wing Gundam like "transformation", just the Gundam lying flat & having something covering its head. The Murasame still is the most aerodynamic transforming MS in the CE world. If this is them "trying out Macross", then the next Macross series is looking at a worse downgrade than Delta TV.
@@TheRibbonRed At least wing transformations had more twisting and adjustments, the freedom and justice transformations are lay flat, widen wings, put funny nose cone hat on, and put the shield and rifle onto chest, angle toes. I honestly feel like the transformations are an insult to how cool and varied the previous transformations in the seed universe have been, you had ones like aegis and chaos, and like you said there was also the Murasame, and they also had the Saviour
We could assume it's just a Strike with the Appearance and Armaments of the Freedom that goes the same with Immortal Justice Being an upgraded version of the Aegis and Savior combined
To me the thing about the 2 new machines can all be resumed to who is their actual manufacturer this time around, equipment naming and serial numbers are all specific of certain organizations, maybe the Agni and Baleena cannons have the same overall output, but one is built by Earth Federation and the other by ZAFT. Same for the model numbers all ZAFT made Gundam had “ZGMF” in their serial numbers but the first 5 were “GAT-X” and ORB forces have “MBF” on their machines, maybe “STTS” is the new jointed faction serial identification. About the power supply I’ve 2 opinions, or as stated on the video they’re battery powered to comply with the treaty and that’s it, or after been attacked twice by nuclear missiles, ZAFT upgraded the Neutron Jammers to also take down the N.J. Cancelers already working, that been the reason why Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice are out of commission, and as the movie goes on they figure out how to make a new Canceler and power them both again to take the final battle. Let's see how it goes.
Actually the Freedom's wing canons being called Agni is rather interesting. I disagree it implies they're weaker than normal Freedom's canons, or even those of the Abyss. Whats strange is that usually the Alliance and ZAFT don't use the same weapon names as eachother. Agni is an Earth Alliance weapon, the Balaena's are ZAFT weapons. While I have nothing to back it up, honestly I always felt the Angi of the launcher strike was more powerful than the Freedom's plasma cannons. The main advantage of Freedom's canons was being less combersome than the launcher, having two of them (plus other weapons), as well as having a higher rate of fire.
As said in other videos, probably Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice have been sealed away 'cause of new anti Nuclear Weapons Treaty so those new models are just new models that follow the new regulations based on previous Freedom and Justice but with MA gimmicks. Surely the old models will either come out or will be used to upgrade them. Btw no one is talking about Akatsuki 😅
They're not even showing much about Cagalli. Or the Archangel crew. Feels like O.R.B. is playing a lesser role this time. Akatsuki is probably collecting dust in their hangar.
the fact that they sortie from a minerva class ship in the trailer and not any other ship which they previously used like the eternal or archangel is proof that the rising freedom and immortal justice are battery powered since the minerva class is equipped with a deuterion beam which was used to supply the impulse with energy from afar and in a recent roster we see that they still have a new model of impulse and other zaft ms like the gelgoog and gyan which are also battery powered meaning the entire team is working together under the same ship especially when Shinn is piloting the new immortal justice rather than the new impulse.
From a meta perspective, there's no way Bandai would abandon their cash cow, the Strike Freedom (and to a lesser extent InfJ), for (lorewise) nerfed suits with "generic" design philosophies (in that RF and ImJ appear to be basically the same suit with only slightly different loadouts and paint jobs). For that reason, I believe that there will be SF and InfJ variants/upgrades.
I have a really strong suspect that the both machines are downgraded version of their predecessor is because of the movie plot. Most likely the 3 alliances decided to dismantle the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice before the event of the movie and that now a new threat emerge, they decided to built entirely new gundam based on their precedessor model. Thus, RF and IJ.
As much as I LOVE the Strike Freedom overall, I slightly prefer the original Freedom Wings so despite the Rising Freedom being an object downgrade, it still looks awesome and a major improvement over the OG Freedom.
Yeah freedom's wings are super iconic, I'm far less into the dragoons on the strike freedom even though I love almost everything else about it (combine-able beam rifles, gold inner frame etc).
What I liked about the redesign is that Freedom and Justice are more blue and white and red and black, respectively. As well as they're getting Zaku variants. What I disliked about them is that they're more or less an Athrun's version of the original Freedom and Justice (which were more or less like Kira's).
PINK? The only reason why Athrun's Infinite Justice was ever pink was because of gunpla sales for Lacus Clyne. The damn kit comes with a Lacus figure. He's the damn RED Knight. Not pink.@@codecane8925
Seeing how both the Strike Freedom and Infident Justice left the war relatively unscathed, aside from the destroyed backpack unit of the Infident Justice, both suits could have been repaired and stored in a facility that is kept secret. While the theory that these suits being dismantled could be passable, I do not believe it to be so, as Kira once stated that in times of danger, he would need all the power he could get to protect those who are closest to him, a sentiment shared by his friend, Athren. It is more likely that the Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice are replacement swords to use in accordance with the Treaty of Juliace, which was blatantly disregarded in MSGSD. Despite the downgrade, It will be interesting to see these machines in action and how their respective pilots feel about them. I am also curious if these machines are products of Terminal, the successor to the Three Ships Alliance in MSGS.
Thanks for the update, Gamore san. Although there is a high chance the Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice isn't powered by nuclear. It won't really matter that much as MS is the seed universe can were never shown to withstand beam rifle to begain with. If the production team gives the RF and IJ more screen time, we might be able to see a creativity Kira again in the battlefield rather than full burst every MS on sight. Well, that's just my thoughts. I'm still looking forward to the movie and hope they don't let the global audiences wait too long for the movie.
In the third PV, we did get to see a scene where Kira used precise beam saber slashes to cut and disarm his foes rather than just using the full burst. Maybe since the Rising Freedom is battery powered, the full burst is using up a lot more energy than with the Freedom and the SF, so Kira will have to use other means so as to not waste energy.
@izofdoors4913 precisely, back when Kira was piloting the Strike, his combat style was very resourceful, which is why he uses beam sabers to disarm those daggers in the pv. But since this is a movie rather than a TV anime, Rising Freedom's screen time will be limited, thus we will be unable to see how Kira's resourceful fighting style in a Freedom type Gundam. As there are other MS who will need the screen time as well.
The idea of technology from seed to destiny was always that it was constantly going up. From the Strike to the Freedom to the Strike Freedom. Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice were already ultra high performance machines to match the Destiny and Legend. That was a constantly established power factor, so suddenly seeing the specs of the Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice especially not equipped with a nuclear factor. People who follow the series will definitely be wondering why we are getting nerf versions of such machines which could also lead to them thinking the movie itself is something of a side-quest to the main series rather then a full successor. From the PV it does also seem that way as no longer are we dealing with a full on war between high out-put factions but rather insurgences and resistances. Me personally I am hoping we get the upgraded versions of the Strike Freedom and the Infinite Justice by the end of the movie
And if you want to know what happened to the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice, then you should check the full image of the movie poster of the Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice.
so im notthe only one unimpressed with tthe new models if not disappointed Still if they're not stronger but weaker WELL THATS THE ICING on the LOUSY CAKE
I personally don't like the down grade, I had customized a Dreadnaught gundam with an wing shields with eight dragoons inspired by the strike freedom, fuse with my own version of striker packs. Wing shield Falcon, for offense and defense, Sword pancer artillery ang close combat with a ride on unit packed with missile inspired by gundam heavy arms and a stealth pack, with dragoons capable of creating energy shields on its own of in formation can protect a larger area similar to what the Akatsuki has. Then again knowing the treaty on nukes in the time line the downgrade is understandable, 😮💨
in my opinion nuclear powered gundams were forbidden after the war. so no nuclear powered suits but my problem with design is that Saviour gundam has a more convinient look and use. vfins are foldable and doesnt have a bidet at the back for aerodynamic purposes. i dont also understand why the downgrade of the weapons when its only nuclear that was forbidden. im really hoping that something comes out to redeem these suits.
They seem like limited production variants, like the Delta Plus or the Re-GZ. The two also seem to be based off the same frame. I'm confident they'll be replaced with proper next generation one-off customs for the final battle. Ten bucks Kira's unit will be named the Eternal Freedom.
physical shield does have some merits, and that is because the assumptions that beam shield cannot blocks powerful physical/melee attacks. I feel like people are puzzled because they forgot about this assumption, but it was already hinted and potrayed in SEED Destiny several times: -Zamza-zah revealed the existance of beam reflector for the first time, and blocked Minerva's tarnhauser. Shinn entered SEED mode and stabbed it with beam saber, eventhough they could use the beam reflector if it could actually block his attack.(vague) -Kira arrived first in the battle againts Destroy in Berlin, but eventhough he arrived there first, his efforts provides nothing againts the Destroy Gundam due to all of his beam rifle and full burst attacks got blocked by its beam reflectors. Shinn arrived later and tested his beam rifle once, then finds out that it deals no damage. being used to fight mobile armors and adaptable to situational combats, he then immediately switched into beam saber, dodged all the attacks, came close into Destroy and managed to take its first blood. -every explosion impacts that Shinn defended himself from with his Destiny were all using the physical shield. -Kira defended himself from arondight with his beam shield, but he still needed to catch the physical sword from moving with his physical hand to block the attack properly. -this is where we got to see more realization about beam shields. in the battle againts Logos and requiem, Yzak destroyed Zamza-zah's beam shield using Gouf's heat whip before destroying it, then Rey's spiked beam dragoon launcher got past the beam reflectors and made a hole on a Destroy Gundam. (clearer) -Infinite Justice and Akatsuki's physical bodies got past the requiem's beam barriers before sending Fatum and some dragoon beam attacks to destroy it. -Strike Freedom's METEOR unit beam sword destroyed Messiah's beam barrier before it actually destroyed the actual thing. based on all of that, I think it is safe to assume that beam shields/reflectors are indeed cannot block powerful physical/melee attacks. it is probably similar to Akatsuki's gold coating that could reflects any long range beam attacks and why Shinn's beam sword+boomerang are proven to be effective againts it. this also could be why Shinn's preferable treatments againts mobile armors with beam reflectors are melee attacks/zero range attacks, so far as ordering Luna to switch into sword impulse and to give Rey one of its sword unit.
Well this entire video actually makes sense, looking back, Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice looks Thicker and Heavier but these two are looks Thinner and Lighter but slightly bBigger in some aspects, the Nuclear power is out of the question since there is no Atomic indicator in their code, but the codes are also completely different instead of ZGMF its STTS, so it may actually have a completely different power source then Strike Freedom and Destiny, but looking at the weapons, the seem to focus on the use consistence and convenience instead of the power output, like how Freedom have a 6 way cannon now instead of 4, being able to shot more targets rather then bigger targets, and while Justice got a 2 in 1 Bomerang Saber, the easiet way i can explain this in terms of games is that, if this is in B Gundam Breaker, it would be changing from Power Type to Speed Type, also their Close Combat Capabalities may be increased
It could be that these machines are not nuclear powered but instead fuel cell powered like that of the Hydrogen power led MS from 00. Limited operation time but better than the battery system.
Based on the answers to Question 2 about nuclear power, armaments, and where the two mobile suits are now: I have a feeling this may have a similar Endless Waltz approach where the suits are placed in hiding until they can be destroyed. I'll just assumed the story will take a dark route near the end, forcing Athrun and Kira to return to their old suits to take care of the new threat which will most certainly have nuclear power as the revelation.
Maybe there are different ms in atmospheric and space since the dragoon system can’t be used in atmosphere, but also do we know for sure Kira is piloting it, since usually he pilots gundam with mouth piece vents
For me, Freedom is a moving AA tank Rising Freedom is more of a jet Or maybe Rising Freedom was originally Freedom's final design specs and Freedom was just a test design which is alr overkill. After all, im sure alot of ppl questioned on Freedom's wing function like it did nth aside from overall aesthetics and hiding the twin shoulder cannons or to act as a way to soften the recoil from HiMat mode unlike Destiny that emits the Wings of Light to pull off the afterimage So Freedom potential final variant design was supposed to be like Rising Freedom, the ability to become a fighter plane which would very well explain why Freedom had the wings to begin with Immortal Justice as well, as much as Justice is cool, it felt like it was very incomplete. Immortal Justice couldve been its final version as well. Saviour was probably the design variant that made it out after Aegis and Justice data, but the base design is off Aegis. Had it been Justice, it wouldve been like Immortal Justice. So its not a full successor to SF and IJ, but more to the completion of the prototype designs of Freedom and Justice SF and IJ had to come in as they needed more overwhelming performance and armor and they also likely not completed as well, as they had no choice but to pull out to use immediately.
Makes sense, these machines seems to be design for Atmospheric battles. So there may be a chance that Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice may be sortied for thr final battle or in space or both.
When I look at both Shining Freedom and Immortal Justice, it reminds me of Intel and AMD both aiming for more Efficient operation with more cores and threads🤣
I would be fine if the Rising Freedom was an evolved version of Freedom and before the Strike Freedom (The DRAGOON system is a significant game changer), but it is supposed to be the successor to the Strike Freedom. It might be faster but it does not have that "you are utterly screwed" feel of the Strike Freedom. Looking at this I am saying the Rising Freedom is a battery powered MS because it seems to be lacking the high output weapons of the Freedom (at this point it should not be called Freedom). The loss of a nuclear generator makes sense because it is might no longer be a black ops mobile suit. That may sound weird because the Strike Freedom was out in the open but it only showed up when Orb was facing destruction, and before that it officially did not exist. The Rising Freedom could be a commander MS and therefore because it officially exists the generator has to comply with the norm.
i'm gonna be honest, what i look forward to the most is Shin new upgrade MS. like Destiny is cool and all, but if Kira and Athrun get a brand new top of the line MS Shin should get one too. the staff can't just keep bully the poor boy he has been shoved off the protagonist position before. give the guy some big fat W would be a nice change of pace
yeah it weird that luna still has her impulse, but shin just get simple ms,i think maybe he will get something more than that,if not i would say this movie are bad lol
@@xenolation2362 i don't think Luna will be Impulse pilot. that Gelgoog is red almost the same color as her gunner Zaku and Shin is the best Impulse pilot. so he probably pilot impulse spec 2
My two cents. The Impulse was an AMAZING machine in the eyes of ZAFT as well as my own. Why develop something new then? If Shin piloting Impulse was good enough to down an Nuke-powered, Kira-piloted Freedom, then a retrofit-upgraded Spec II Impulse with Shin in the pilot seat is more than capable of hanging with a battery-powered Freedom and Justice.
@@HieiKirisame true, but it still felt no right. Shin best range is pretty much close-mid range. i'd just hope there is something like otori pack or noir striker for Impulse spec 2 consider how well he handle Destiny weapon simultaneously limit him to just sword, board and gun felt cheap
What if there are two versions of Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice? One that is the official version that fullfills every demand of a new treaty and one that is kept in secret and is a true successor to Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice? They could call them Rising Strike-Freedom and Immortal Infinite-Justice xD
They look like the regular freedom and justice with new equipment ... Which would be understandable the Strike-freedom and Infinite-Justice are just too much of power houses for anyone to be comfortable knowing they exist and could be use against you :x
im sure the climax will be along this lines: new Freedom (being weaker than Strike Freedom) destroyed by super new Suit that break all peace treaty, the casualty become too high, so they (zaft-orb-UN) grant one-time use of Strike Freedom as an special exception. and Lacus (or ZAFT) who likes to develop new machine actually does experiment on a new weapon for Strike Freedom that Kira will actually get to use in the final battle
Actually... about the suits in GSF so far, I might say that the both Freedom and Justice may be upgraded further, if we look at Fukuda-san's previous works, the Cyber Formula series from SAGA to SIN, so I might say the newer suit will come, replacing each of Freedom and Justice's suits, and I'd be happy to see if they would have to "break" the treaty due to overwhelmingly large force awaits. I hope that the Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice will get upgraded too.
Probably right about the nuclear power machines store until later. The rising freedom head at the right angle looks like Wing Gundams head from Gundam Wing. I wonder if going to get the curse of Wing Gundam of being blown up, repaired, used by someone else, bad damage, and abandoned
I do understand the down grade, due to them now a part of the Governments. When they were in Destiny, they did not need to follow any Gundam Guide lines. But due to now the Treaty with Zaft, Orb and Earth.
Makes sense, since nuclear powered mobile suits were dis allowed, the gundams' power output are nerfed. It's like the upgraded versions of the 5 OG gundams on the gundam seed.
The DRAGOON System could have been outlawed after Destiny, along with a complete ban on nuclear engines. That might be why Shinn is piloting an upgraded Impulse instead of a repaired Destiny.
I really hope they explain what Treaty was Imposed during the End of Destiny Considering the Freedom and Justice don't have Nuclear Reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers also the fact the current ZAFT Line Up Isn't using more Modern Machines like the Zakus and Goufs with mostly leftover Ginns, Dinns and (possibly?) CGues taking their place
yea i was think the strike freedom and infinte justice was in storage, like how the unicorn was put into strorage as well, because they was to powerful to be used in the new peace time that was created after the 2nd war
The Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice seem to fit between the OG Freedom and Justice and the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice. Even though they clearly lack the firepower and overwhelming capabilities of the Destiny units, they look to focus more on melee in the movie clips now. As for both units, I am not a fan of their transformations and why it exists in the first place when neither unit did in the series. No matter what changes they made, I would like to see more of the Seed Gelgoog and Gyan more. Those units look so much more badass, especially with the Gyan and its spinning beam bladed shield.
The thing is they are not actually downgrade, the power output is actually higher than previous model due to newer specs. They lack the firepower and battery powered, but as a peacekeeper not warmachine like previous models, they do their job perfectly.
I'll be honest, I don't care for any of the new suits at this time. The 3 gundams seem like downgrades from any that existed before. The Goufs and Zakus look better than the Gelgoog/Gyan. As for the knights, I really don't know what i think. From the trailer, a new upgraded Murasame would be great to see. In any case, I'm holding out hope that new, better-looking suits are seen in the movie. Only time will tell.
Would love to see something like Eturnal having been retired to some kind of war museum and these new machines get wrecked only for them have to pull Eturnal out of "mothballs" and Lacus to reveal she had secretly rebuilt the original X10A Freedom and X09A Justice and then hid them aboard their original carrier ship just in case; allowing us to see the OG Freedom and Justice go into battle one last time. Would LOVE something like that.
I believe that these are a non-nuclear versions to fall in line with some treaty, or if they work for a peace organization, to uphold the peace between the plants and earth but I am more certainly guarantee that strike freedom and infinite justice will have a resurgence sometime in the movie with some major upgrades that’s my opinion and everybody’s entitled to one but not saying that these suits are not cool at all. They look pretty decent.
Helmed with bit-spamming, _Al da Flaga clone #3_ as the main antagonist of this movie. I'm very sure the original Strike Freedom and the Infinite Justice will appear later in the movie, _or perhaps,_ *a sequel*
Rising Freedom looks like the Destiny but with the Freedom’s armaments. Something about that seems foreboding. Also if Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice aren’t nuclear powered, and Compass has nuke powered Gundams in reserve… That whole Kira might be a villain thing from the second trailer? Maybe that’s what everyone is so desperately trying to stop Kira from doing. Crossing the line by breaking out the nuke powered suits.
I just want to see our protags!! Anything will be fine!! 😎👍 I mean it's so cool if they used this gundam and still get the job done right??!! That's just mean they really are the greatest pilots even if there machines are nerfed. But still I'm just happy that they will get a sequel. Hopefully still good ending 😔🙏
So since they can't use nuclear engines athrun remembers the last battrry powered machine he used was the savior and they just made a justice and freedom flavored version of that. I guess
They showed all these mobile suits for these characters, new and old. However, one was not revealed to get a new suit, Mu La Flaga. Is he just going to sit on the sidelines, or is he going to get a new version of the strike or something, I am curious how things turn out. Lastly, it's been 20 years since Destiny ended, let's not nitpick too much on the lore, hopefully the writers can make this work.
At least Rising Freedom retains all of the original Freedom's weaponry. It even adds a bladed, boomerang shield. Immortal Justice lacks Justice's backpack, so it's missing 2 beam cannons, and doesn't have any beam sabers at all. It only has the two beam boomerangs, the shield boomerang, beam shin guards, and one beam rifle. It's underpowered as hell.
I'm cool with the new suits not being upgrades of the originals I have always felt that the strike freedom was overkill. also while not having the raw power of being nuclear power doesn't necessarily mean that it hasn't been upgraded in other ways software played a big part in what made the original strike as good as it was. modern fighter jets are slower than jets of the past but are more maneuverable and smarter than the old super sonic jets.
Maybe they will cross train the main characters with different gundam and also for spy missions. Shinn might get a new destiny impluse gundam that merging Force Impulse Gundam Spec II with new build destiny or rising freedom itself. Then kira will get a new strike freedom gundam with nuclear powered.
I don't mind that they're downgrades in performance it's just sad that they're downgrades in design as well. The moebius zero and gunbarrel dagger didn't have nuke reactors either but still had wired bits so performance shouldn't have been a major issue design-wise. Hopefully these end up as the sacrificial machines that's meant to get wrecked so the leads can launch in the actual main mechs for the final battle.
I think we will eventually see the return of the original upgrades should these get destroyed or in times of desperate need. Would also bring a blast for nostalgic purposes and audience impact. Not really a fan of the blue color scheme. It's nice, but for me I think the black one suited the freedom better, made it look more badass and more fit for war. This freedom and its color scheme fits this new era, it looks peaceful yet still ready to defend at any time
Off topic, do you think the movie will lead into a third series in the Seed universe? You know, like how Dragon Ball Battle of Gods and Resurrection F paved the way for DBS.
Minor thing to point out, the Agni naming of the Freedom's new cannons may not be a particular downgrade if the two new machines are three ship products over ZAFT alone. Agni was an Earth/Orb weapon, and those of the Abyss and the Freedom variants were Zaft products instead. It's always possible that the new machines are Three Ship collaborative projects, and the former Earth or Orb force engineers designed the Rising Freedom's cannons instead of ZAFT engineers. I'd imagine that they are a downgrade over the prior ones, but it's possible that they aren't as weak as the Strikes.
The English translation method has been changed. Because of this, there might be some parts that are difficult to hear, I would be very happy if I could get a lot of opinions from you.
Thank you for making this channel! I have been subbed to your other channel for awhile! Never going to turn down more Gundam lore!
Actually its good Gamore! Keep it up
The English is better actually. You have done amazing work.
It is pretty good. I didn’t see many issues with it.
Yes I agreed there will be the infinitely infinite finite striking striker strike freedom gundam at the end of the run 😂
Kira is a passive one but must do anything, so yeah he doesn't want the nukes to be installed
@@marcosdheleno looking at it again, you’re right. My mistake.
The leaks did show designs for a freedom and justice variant that looked significantly more armed
Pretty sure lacus and the three ships alliance will have another nuclear MS once the Rising and Immortal are heavily damaged
They're saving the best for last
I believe it for no other reason than they can sell more model kits the more mobile suits they create.
@@meow-meow-beans
Where are these leaks?
the new units are also not nuke powered. so its possible that the solid shield is the main shield, with the beam shield used as a last resort as to not abuse the batteries.
That's my thought as well.
Also, that's probably for very same reason the use of Agni on this MS, instead of Calidus, Balaena, or Scylla, since those type of weapons differs in how reactor generates the energy.
But what interest me is that the Agni was originally OMNI's product.
It's surprising how much people ignore that and that their not upgrades to the versions we last saw but upgrades to the originals
The plot desperately needed the downgrades to be grounded
You know as much as I love the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice this makes a lot of sense. I’ve been trying to figure out what happened to the two MS but this makes sense.
@gyuunyuu You got mimicking aliens in 00, to be their threat...
while im sad to see a downgrade, im also happy to see a series actually step back in the powercreep race. we never see this kind of development in any other gundam.
and while im sure we will see a powered version of the freedom or the justice. im happy that they were able to pull back and allow it to flow in a unexpected direction.
ReGZ lol. Gump. Etc.
@@lncstr01Does Anchor count? Since it's F89 but customized during tech regression
Here i thought im the only one who thought its a downgrade rather than an upgrade. They certainly did not do both of them Justice .. D:
Strike and Aegis version of the Movie
ReGz version of CE.
We also have art of them severely damaged. They're just the warm up.
we all know athrun is going to pull out his trump card and self destruct his mobile suit.. again.
I just watched the movie and you are a prophet.
Gundam Seed: Yo can I copy your work here?
Cross Ange: Sure big bro, happy to return the favor.
*Gundam Seed Freedom MA modes*
Cross Ange: It's.... unique! (don't laugh don't laugh)
If the seed movie is set 2 years aft the end of seed Destiny series, don't tell me zaft & omni r still fighting? WTF r they fighting for?
Very well explained
I feel like SUNRISE introducing transformation functions into this series of machines is just them putting in practice before they tackle the next Macross series. 😂
Audio is fine.
@@TheRibbonRed wing gundam? Macross? I don't see it, All I see is Zeta
"Agni", IIRC, means the cannons are similar to the heavy cannon Launcher Strike Gundam uses, you know, the one that wrecked Heliopolis.
We could assume it's just a Strike with the Appearance and Armaments of the Freedom that goes the same with Immortal Justice Being an upgraded version of the Aegis and Savior combined
@@Diceboxx longer battery operation time as well.
Agni is actually an Orb weapon as the GAT-X series were made by Morganrote and not Actaeon.
@@SoulstrikerV i really hope to see Mu LaFlaga piloting Akatsuki once more.
the fact that they sortie from a minerva class ship in the trailer and not any other ship which they previously used like the eternal or archangel is proof that the rising freedom and immortal justice are battery powered since the minerva class is equipped with a deuterion beam which was used to supply the impulse with energy from afar and in a recent roster we see that they still have a new model of impulse and other zaft ms like the gelgoog and gyan which are also battery powered meaning the entire team is working together under the same ship especially when Shinn is piloting the new immortal justice rather than the new impulse.
wait shin isnt piloting immortal justice he is piloting a glorified gyan its athrun piloting the immortal justice
It could be for steaks you can also be the survivability is more important than being able to do everything in one attack.
As much as I LOVE the Strike Freedom overall, I slightly prefer the original Freedom Wings so despite the Rising Freedom being an object downgrade, it still looks awesome and a major improvement over the OG Freedom.
Ah same w/ me. Strike Freedom's cool af, but Freedom's fit my taste better. Sturdier in design aesthetic perspective.
I've very much disagree with you on this. I love the freedom's wings but I think the strike freedom is much better.
Freedom should be light blue and justice should be pink to represent Kira and Athrun.
This is getting Exited 🔥🔥🔥 cant wait for thr next clue and the film itself 🎉
I hope Strike Freedom shows up with a remixed version of its Theme Vestige. That opening of Vestige playing in the midst of a battle would be epic.
Great breakdown. I was curious about the appearance of stepping backwards on these models.
They seem like limited production variants, like the Delta Plus or the Re-GZ.
The two also seem to be based off the same frame.
I'm confident they'll be replaced with proper next generation one-off customs for the final battle.
Ten bucks Kira's unit will be named the Eternal Freedom.
Probably a good change. Those machines are getting way OP.
I'm loving this. This isn't your usual story. We're all wondering why. Hence it's effectivity.
physical shield does have some merits, and that is because the assumptions that beam shield cannot blocks powerful physical/melee attacks. I feel like people are puzzled because they forgot about this assumption, but it was already hinted and potrayed in SEED Destiny several times:
-Zamza-zah revealed the existance of beam reflector for the first time, and blocked Minerva's tarnhauser. Shinn entered SEED mode and stabbed it with beam saber, eventhough they could use the beam reflector if it could actually block his attack.(vague)
-Kira arrived first in the battle againts Destroy in Berlin, but eventhough he arrived there first, his efforts provides nothing againts the Destroy Gundam due to all of his beam rifle and full burst attacks got blocked by its beam reflectors.
(clearer)
-Infinite Justice and Akatsuki's physical bodies got past the requiem's beam barriers before sending Fatum and some dragoon beam attacks to destroy it.
I believe that they are standard machines. A variaton of the base unit like Lunamaria, Ray, Yzak etc had personalized standard units in Destiny.
I love the new Gundam from the Kira Team but I don't know how to feel about the Black Knights.
I'll just assumed the story will take a dark route near the end, forcing Athrun and Kira to return to their old suits to take care of the new threat which will most certainly have nuclear power as the revelation.
awesome video
That’s combined freedom and strike gundam, I’m not complaining and waiting for the mg kits to come out.
Maybe there are different ms in atmospheric and space since the dragoon system can’t be used in atmosphere, but also do we know for sure Kira is piloting it, since usually he pilots gundam with mouth piece vents
For me,
Freedom is a moving AA tank
Rising Freedom is more of a jet
Or maybe Rising Freedom was originally Freedom's final design specs and Freedom was just a test design which is alr overkill. After all, im sure alot of ppl questioned on Freedom's wing function like it did nth aside from overall aesthetics and hiding the twin shoulder cannons or to act as a way to soften the recoil from HiMat mode unlike Destiny that emits the Wings of Light to pull off the afterimage
So Freedom potential final variant design was supposed to be like Rising Freedom, the ability to become a fighter plane which would very well explain why Freedom had the wings to begin with
Immortal Justice as well, as much as Justice is cool, it felt like it was very incomplete. Immortal Justice couldve been its final version as well.
Saviour was probably the design variant that made it out after Aegis and Justice data, but the base design is off Aegis.
Had it been Justice, it wouldve been like Immortal Justice.
So its not a full successor to SF and IJ, but more to the completion of the prototype designs of Freedom and Justice
SF and IJ had to come in as they needed more overwhelming performance and armor and they also likely not completed as well, as they had no choice but to pull out to use immediately.
I like this theory a lot. Hope it is the case ✌🏻
Bruh?? We gonna get new Gundam movie? Damn! I've been away from Gundam for a long time but if it's Gundam Seed then I'm in!!!
They look like the regular freedom and justice with new equipment ... Which would be understandable the Strike-freedom and Infinite-Justice are just too much of power houses for anyone to be comfortable knowing they exist and could be use against you :x
Hmmm... Variable MS trend is back, IG. I wonder if there'll be new versions of the Strike Freedom & Infinite Justice with transformation ability?
im sure the climax will be along this lines: new Freedom (being weaker than Strike Freedom) destroyed by super new Suit that break all peace treaty, the casualty become too high, so they (zaft-orb-UN) grant one-time use of Strike Freedom as an special exception. and Lacus (or ZAFT) who likes to develop new machine actually does experiment on a new weapon for Strike Freedom that Kira will actually get to use in the final battle
Actually... about the suits in GSF so far, I might say that the both Freedom and Justice may be upgraded further, if we look at Fukuda-san's previous works, the Cyber Formula series from SAGA to SIN, so I might say the newer suit will come, replacing each of Freedom and Justice's suits, and I'd be happy to see if they would have to "break" the treaty due to overwhelmingly large force awaits.
This seems like the new Freedom and Justice variants might have been intended as mass production models.
I really hope they explain what Treaty was Imposed during the End of Destiny
Considering the Freedom and Justice don't have Nuclear Reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers also the fact the current ZAFT Line Up Isn't using more Modern Machines like the Zakus and Goufs with mostly leftover Ginns, Dinns and (possibly?) CGues taking their place
yea i was think the strike freedom and infinte justice was in storage, like how the unicorn was put into strorage as well, because they was to powerful to be used in the new peace time that was created after the 2nd war
Am i the only one that excited for this movie and find the gundams is beautiful and awesome?
Also if Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice aren’t nuclear powered, and Compass has nuke powered Gundams in reserve…
That whole Kira might be a villain thing from the second trailer? Maybe that’s what everyone is so desperately trying to stop Kira from doing. Crossing the line by breaking out the nuke powered suits.
Btw, is there a previous side story that also takes place after Destiny? Maybe one of the Astray stories. Are the main casts ever mentioned there?
I just want to see our protags!! Anything will be fine!! 😎👍 I mean it's so cool if they used this gundam and still get the job done right??!! That's just mean they really are the greatest pilots even if there machines are nerfed. But still I'm just happy that they will get a sequel. Hopefully still good ending 😔🙏
I think is likely there will be upgrade version of Freedom/Justice/Destiny in the later half of the OVA.
Honestly, rising and immortal both look like something that the kids in build series made
I really love the new Freedom and Justice!!
I don't mind if they're downgrades, the new Rising and Immortal look really cool anyway!
So since they can't use nuclear engines athrun remembers the last battrry powered machine he used was the savior and they just made a justice and freedom flavored version of that. I guess
Tbh I like the rising and immortal it shows a base model with and MA mode making it dual purpose for multi operation
Its like the light version Freedom is the Normal Model, Strike Freedom is the S model and the Rising Freedom is Economic/Light Version
The toy also said that these two are using phase shift armor as well
I'm cool with the new suits not being upgrades of the originals I have always felt that the strike freedom was overkill. also while not having the raw power of being nuclear power doesn't necessarily mean that it hasn't been upgraded in other ways software played a big part in what made the original strike as good as it was. modern fighter jets are slower than jets of the past but are more maneuverable and smarter than the old super sonic jets.
Hi Sir can u do video between gundam seed, and gundam seed stargazer, what is the connection between them?
Of course to make many version of it, and milking it with model kit!
They seem like they’re suppose to be the models between the strike and freedom and the aegis and infinite justice.
It's like the Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi of the Seed Franchise
Yeah the Agni is the Orb version of the plasma cannon. Orb tends to use names from Asian mythology and EA uses Germanic/Norse names.
I have a feeling strike freedom and infinite justice are being sealed like gundam unicorn.
