I used to work at the Tower of Terror in Disney World, and I always loved the coziness of the 1930's jazz queue music I'd listen to all day. This gives me the same vibes : )
I started listening to more jazz recently because it reminds me of Disneyland. I went a lot as a kid until my twenties. I'm 30 now and I just want to feel happy like I did when I was a kid and oblivious and didn't feel the pressures of adulthood and the awareness of larger problems around me, which is still don't understand.

it feels like you are walking down the street during the Christmas holidays on a snowy night on the way home, walking in front of a classy restaurant who's smells so good and plays this great music ! idk maybe it's just me dreaming...
but you stay out of the restaurant and keep walking, you hear the sounds of merriment, cheer, clinking utensils, and it gives you a slight sense of loneliness but mostly fondness for the world, happiness that things are alright somewhere
This takes me back to my childhood in the 50’s when I’d be in bed by 8 and my father was in the room next door sitting in a chair with his pipe while cranking some jazz from his old radio. Even though I was born in 91, this creates this whole image/feeling in my head of something I’ve never even experienced.
I also thought this was a funny comment but there’s truth behind it. It’s funny how certain music or media can bring on a nostalgic feeling or memory/flashback that you never experienced in this lifetime. Makes you wonder
I get it. I grew up in the 20s when this music was still new! I remember many kids were forbidden to listen to it by their mothers and fathers. This is the kind of stuff that was playing at bars during probation, and I knew some kids father would go to these bars for a quick drink, and they would come home humming these kinds of tunes. We all pick up on it. During the War this is what we would listen to as well. It provided us with a good dose of nostalgia, and brought us back home to our wives and sweethearts in times when nothing else would. In the days when you constantly feared for you life, and the lives of those around you this was something that brought you respite. I remember all of this even though I was born in the 2000s
I was born in the 2000s and vintage jazz always gives me a confort. I live in a house what was made in 1933 and maybe they played this too on a rainy day and sometimes i wish there was a chanel on the radio that broadcasted these kind of songs
Some local music stations may have shows that share this kind of music weekly. I know I've lived in a few areas with local variety stations that have done that. One was actually run by a university. You can also request those types of shows and they might include them in their scheduling. Worth checking out! They also frequently have local event calendars that show events and sometimes just places where musicians are scheduled to play like restaurants. I promise you there are jazz bands and jazz cover bands out there still playing some of these tunes live. It is so much fun to head out somewhere and find a place filled with sweet music and couples dancing as others order dinner and listen to the tunes.
My mom and dad were born in 1920 and 1919 respectively so I grew up hearing a lot of big band music. My mom played classical albums and my dad just adored anything played on an organ. My favorite song has always been Rhapsody in Blue. And second Carmina Burana, not sure I spelled it correctly. I could listen to this all night long. Just wonderful, thank you.
There is something about that nostalgic feeling. Disney always brings back fond memories of my childhood. It's nice to be able to take some time to go back in time and be reminded of that childlike feeling. Thank you for sharing with us! May we never lose that sense of childlike wonder.
The song at 48:47 is Carolyn by Buddy Moreno and his Orchestra! I had to listen through hours of big band playlists to find it but it was going to keep bothering me lol. Great song!

Pov's and scenarios i imagined while listening to this playlist: Ouside a bar, sitting on the stairs or leaning on a lamp post. The dancing flame moving along to the peaceful melody that being preformed inside. Holding a cigarette in one hand and moving your other along with the beat you look out onto the dark city that's lit by nothing but the street lamps and the glowig stars up in the sky that seem to be smiling at you. You smile back walking slowly and as the melody stays in your head you hum and dance along on your way back to your cozy warm home. Siting on the roof of a museum the moon is gleeming softly and the clouds cover it like a soft duveg. Your body relaxes as classical music is being played inside for the museum for its 60 year anniversary. There's live music being preformed by all types of musicians small bands and gamous singers are welcomed to give a performance for the whole city to hear. Even tho the music is beautiful you climb up and look upon the city for some time alone. The cool breeze blows softly by and you close you eyes for your ears to truly feel the music. In your room while your grandma or grandpa plays music downstairs. You're playing with your childhood toys or watching UA-cam videos on your phone. You wait for the dinner to be ready as it rains outside and you take a moment to pause what you're doing and listen to the songs playing downstairs. As you walk down stairs you're greeted and told to sit at the table and when you do a nice warm bowl of soup is put on the table for you to enjoy. You take a spoonful and your body becomes warm with the delicious glavor as you sway calmly to the beat.

To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone 🎧 • A tea or coffee. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. Don't keep your device plugged in all the time, overcharging and using the device while charging can shorten the battery's lifespan and potentially damage the battery over time. Charge it up to 85% or 90% and let it go from there. Start charging again when it reaches maybe 30% or 40%.

This channel is a gateway to the past, and it feels like stepping into a time machine. Each song brings back beautiful memories and emotions. A perfect selection of music and a nostalgic atmosphere. Great job!

I grew up living with my grandparents and I e listened to this kind of music a lot. This takes me back to living on the ranch and all those happy memories
This reminds me of the times when me and my sister were younger and would watch old Disney cartoons together on our mom's phone or the TV on rainy days or Christmas during winter break. Great memories all around, thanks for this compilation :D
I always come back to this when my nonexistent elder soul decides to temp me. Older music has always been so soothing to me, from the faint hum of static to the organic orchestra that accompanies the enthusiastic tone of the singer...
that sounded nice at first, but after thinking on it for a short while, I imagined it almost seems hellish not having access to the music in the next room for all eternity. Like an ever-present low-grade form of anxiety. Who's playing the music? Have they always been there? Is there even anyone? Is there even a room? Maybe eventually just settling into the fact that it's going to be an unknown forever and trying to just enjoy it while wondering why I have to stay in an adjacent room forever, and if, after a fraction of eternity, I will ever even need to know how it's working. I wonder about that. Would I go through a period of wanting to find a way to participate and give up eventually? Can I hear other's conversations, not just the music? Are there other people in other rooms hearing the same music? Are there windows to any of these rooms? I'm going to sleep but your comment sent my adhd into a rabbit hole so I had to share before that lol
i love this so much basically listen on a daily basis very comforting and beautiful thank you so much for making this video made life a lot easier, even when it wasnt
I love this music too much to fall asleep to, it keeps my brain too active, even on a low volume. But it cheers me up immensely, and is certainly calming. I love to listen to it when I am soaking in a nice hot bath, with soft lighting. Another way is when I am driving around San Francisco at night, crossing the bridge, in the nicer parts of the city, and areas in and around the San Francisco bay area, especially in the hills, when the fog rolls in. This type of music is a perfect accompaniment.
As someone who watched a lot of old movie musicals and Max Raabe performances as a kid, this is totally my kind of music. We gotta make this stuff the big thing again!!!

this is so perfect for reading, just quiet enough to make me not lose concentration :D
I grew up in the 60's and this music was always playing on the stereo. A La Familia!
This channel is a gateway to the past, and it feels like stepping into a time machine. Each song brings back beautiful memories and emotions. A perfect selection of music and a nostalgic atmosphere. Great job!
Reminds me of the am radio stations my pop pop used to listen to while fixing things in the garage ❤ it’s definitely bringing back beautiful memories of being a four year old 🥹
what are you, 80?
@@ashleybursch2804 Not yet 🤣
Time Traveler..opening the door to a room in the past..always that vibe ❤️
Man I’ll never get over with this feeling of nostalgia.
“And it’s raining”
Is literally a Bonus❤️
5:40 - literally shouted "daaaaaaaaaayumn!"
May I ask, what's the music if you have a clue in that timestamp?
@@酷蛋once in a while by Benny Morton
Just happened upon this, and I am so glad I did! It’s amazing. The music is marvelous, and I will be listening and watching very often.
I absolutely love this music. I often put it on when I’m drawing or sleeping. It gives me a sense of relaxation and helps clear my thoughts
As an 112 year old geneticist, this brings me back to my childhood. I play this in my office to help me focus while I pray the Overseers have mercy on my fragile soul.
Honestly feels like having a chill-time with the ghosts haunting the elevators!
This playlist made my old soul squeal haha
I guess I did need a break form all the r&b, hypercore and phonk genre songs, even as a teen.
I would love this as a spotify playlist or just every song pointed out in timestamps, great work tho!
I’m pretty sure you can find this music and more on Spotify. I have saved so many albums like this along with elevator music. Soothing to play my solitaire games and also fall asleep. 💜🙏🏼💜
i just turned 17 exactly 2 days ago, but for some reason this music gives me a nostalgic feeling for i don't know what exactly... still it gets me overwhelmed
thank you fo lifting up our moods and sharing your great and wonderful music taste with everyone
I've never listened to jazz before in my life, but for some reason it gives me a weird sorta calming nostalgia feeling.
This is such a treat to listen to. I was playing it last night in bed while I was drifting off to sleep.
The rain brown noise really makes this 😍
Ah, I've wandered for hours on my feed to find a good playlist to hear while studying and I have finally found it.
Thank you for making this, every time I start writing for my story i open a page with this on
This is nice. I was writing an essay for The Great Gatsby, and this put me in the perfect mindset.
I find this type of song very calming, this really help me study. please don't stop making this type of video.
I always come back to this when my nonexistent elder soul decides to temp me. Older music has always been so soothing to me, from the faint hum of static to the organic orchestra that accompanies the enthusiastic tone of the singer...
I WILL never get tired of this
The part with the vintage jazz and rain was really the best. If you listen closely you can hear it in the other room.
I just realized where i first heard jazz in my life and its this, that tom and jerry jazz as a child
I bet this is what the afterlife is like, light music in another room, you're unable to take part, but it's there regardless
that sounded nice at first, but after thinking on it for a short while, I imagined it almost seems hellish not having access to the music in the next room for all eternity.
I'm going to sleep but your comment sent my adhd into a rabbit hole so I had to share before that lol
i love this so much
basically listen on a daily basis
very comforting and beautiful
thank you so much for making this video
made life a lot easier, even when it wasnt
it feels nostalgic. i dont know "nostalgia" of what exactly, but it feels nostalgic
This brings me back to a certain point in my past life. Bittersweet. Thank you and take care out there.
As someone who watched a lot of old movie musicals and Max Raabe performances as a kid, this is totally my kind of music. We gotta make this stuff the big thing again!!!
Listening to this at the end of the night and feeling acceptance. thanks
Thanks, Lepreezy . Happy New Year !! 🥂
It's like being in a world have never known. The recordings have something so real, it's like listening to an old time radio in real time.
the best study music of all time
This days I tried to sleep more but sometimes is really hard … this playlist is perfect to me, amazing playlist
yes! this is perfect!💜
It’s seriously lovely that you provide this for people. ❤ Thank you.
Why do I hold such nostalgia for an era I was never a part of?

In another universe, we're that couple playing jazz in the other room
This.
This is the only thing that helps me stay focused

I have suffered from OCD and this music help me relieved from stress and frustration. Thx
Most relaxing. Thanks!!
Fantastic work. I stumbled across your YT Channel late one night when I couldn't sleep. Here's to nostalgia & ambience 🍸🍸..
I've never locked in as much as I did listening to this. Wrote half of my essay in one sitting
This reminds me of when I would play jazz with my friends on stage
Great playlist for writing! Honestly helps so much with inspiration and with my motivation for stuff! I always find myself coming back to this
what'd you write
I'm making my final projects for college feeling so nostalgic. I'm graduating in a few weeks, and doing my literal final projects not only for my clases, but for ever feels so weird. I'm so nervous about starting my official adult life.
Reminds me of days gone by..a more innocent time, when there was community spirit & life lived at a gentle pace...
Somehow I play this and sense a certain radio demon nodding in approval
Ah a man of quality! (I also watch Hazbin :D)
i was thinking that too lol
hazbin hotel reference

Alastor!
