I miss that entrance ramp that used to connect to the ring. Some of early 90's WCW best spots used to happen there.
One of Jim Heards ideas funnily enough
How dare you bring up Lex Luger and Superbrawl Saturday! He's one of the biggest legends stars ever in this... God!
Kolof is lurking. May have a better chance of him showing up next week.
Best ppv reviews on the net. Good job wrestling with wregret!
Stan Hansen looked gross with that plug of chaw in his mouth! YEEECH!
I remember really loving this show as a kid (crappy Eli Gante match and all) and watched it several times on tape.the Steiner/sting Luger match and main event were some of the best stuff in American wrestling at the time.
a stretcher match which ends in a pin-LOL
The uploader got it wrong, Jim Ross clearly states in the commentry "The loser must leave the ring in a stretcher" not "The person loses by leaving the ring in a stretcher"
Which means there has to be at least a pinfall or submission before the stretcher comes into it, dumb idea for a match ending but it was done correctly
R.I.P. Mr. Smothers.
Happy birthday Brian!
I could imagine if the technology today was around in 1991 Alexandra York would've been their excuse to make sure that through the computer, the layout, spots and structure of the matches got through correctly.
WCW had a lot of impromptu segments on their PPVs in the early 90s
Well this was before Nitro was a thing so I guess they had to put the filler somewhere
If you think about it Terry Taylor was a trailblazing pioneer. He was using advanced metrics analysis as a gimmick years before professional sports teams used it themselves to evaluate talent on their teams.
