- In this episode we head to Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat then on to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm on the Dampier Peninsula. At Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat we witness the stunning spring tides in all their glory. The lagoon at Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat goes from empty to full in about six hours! Amazingly we had some great coffee at the food truck in Gumbanan, and finally we treat ourselves to some luxury with a lovely long lunch and swim at the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. We continue to be amazed at how beautiful this country is each and every day we spend on the road! Enjoy.
Good episode and very enjoyable, thanks guys
Thanks! Glad u liked it. 🍻👍
No sponsors, no banging on about 'smashing that subscribe button and ringing the bell' Nicely edited and produced where it should be, and the laid back chat is entertaining, so I smashed that subscribe button
Cheers mate! And yeh we are pretty chill with all that advertising stuff. The vids are for us, just sharing them so family back home etc. can enjoy. Glad u like em! 👍🍻
Great Vid
Cheers!🍻👍
Another “You Bute” vid!!
Shame about the fishing 🥺
Great to see Tania having a say 😉
Love the “Look at me” drive out of camp 😜. Feel the power! Hear the roar 🦁
Thanks guys.
That was fun 👍😉😎🤗🦆
Thanks, and yeh, sometimes I just can't help myself in that car. 👍🍻
If your looking for gas cooker brewer. Check out Kendall and Glenn, they love coffee. I wish I could surf. You doing a great holiday. Love the videos.
Another awesome video, we saw you guys today in woollies but weren’t sure on how you feel about been approached. It’s beautiful weather up here atm and we might see you around again if your hanging around.
Haha, cool, and yeh always feel free to say hi! We are going to be hanging around the area for a while still. Love Broome, so much to see and do up here! 🍻👍
Another solid episode mate. Tough luck with the fishing at Gumbanan. I notice your fishing rods come apart. What rods are you using if you don’t mind sharing…? Lockdown is hard in Vic and your videos ease the pain somewhat. Cheers
Yeh mate, we spent 8 months in Vic lockdown, can't imagine how hard it would be now! We now use mainly Ugly Stick rods and Penn reals, they seem to be the only ones that don't break!
@@VetinaVan cheers. Also, for midges see if you can get your hands on the Good Riddance stuff. It is the works
@@dantheman6159 thanks!
I realise that you know but plenty of crocs up that way so take care near the water and don't be complacent.
Yup, the guys next to us saw one of the local crocs about 50m up from camp!
@@VetinaVan I used to live in croc country and can be upon you without warning. Stay safe and thanks for your videos they are very enjoyable.
@@zoezoe610 thanks and safe travels. 👍
Great video, where abouts was the snorkeling?
@DoYouAcceptReturns this was about 2 years ago now so not sure if it has changed but Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat had an area out to the north of the camp that was locked by rocks when the tide was at a certain hight making it croc safe. 👍😀
One Green Mud Crab disliked this video
lol, it's true Sam, I think that same Green Mud Crab went through and thumbs down all my vids! understandable it guess....
@@VetinaVan As long as they interacted in some way, it counts as engagement :)
Looks great. Is the road from Broome bad? Thanks again for more gut wrenching vision.
Nar not bad at all, heaps better then heading toward Willie Creek & James Price
@@VetinaVan can I ask you a couple of questions? Do you guys carry a Sat phone? Love your music, which mob do you use? Thanks. Love watching your posts.
@@biglap.australia nar we don't carry a sat phone. Thought about it but if we are in a really bad situation then I have an EPIRB which will dial 000 help to your gps location. As for the music, thanks! I love finding just the right track to give support the feeling I want, has taken ages to build up a good song base and have scrapped and scraped them from heaps of online places! 👍🍻
@@VetinaVan ok cool, thanks. We pick up our new caravan in about 3 weeks. We sold our other van earlier in the year. Got our money back after 3 years. Crazy times. All the best mate. Might see you on the tracks one day?
@@VetinaVan cool. Which EPIRB did you go for?
