  • In this episode we head to Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat then on to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm on the Dampier Peninsula. At Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat we witness the stunning spring tides in all their glory. The lagoon at Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat goes from empty to full in about six hours! Amazingly we had some great coffee at the food truck in Gumbanan, and finally we treat ourselves to some luxury with a lovely long lunch and swim at the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. We continue to be amazed at how beautiful this country is each and every day we spend on the road! Enjoy.

    No sponsors, no banging on about 'smashing that subscribe button and ringing the bell' Nicely edited and produced where it should be, and the laid back chat is entertaining, so I smashed that subscribe button

    Another solid episode mate. Tough luck with the fishing at Gumbanan. I notice your fishing rods come apart. What rods are you using if you don’t mind sharing…? Lockdown is hard in Vic and your videos ease the pain somewhat. Cheers

      Yeh mate, we spent 8 months in Vic lockdown, can't imagine how hard it would be now! We now use mainly Ugly Stick rods and Penn reals, they seem to be the only ones that don't break!

    • @VetinaVan
      @VetinaVan  9 днів тому

      @DoYouAcceptReturns this was about 2 years ago now so not sure if it has changed but Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat had an area out to the north of the camp that was locked by rocks when the tide was at a certain hight making it croc safe. 👍😀
