A Russian lady had a beret hat online here tutorial back in 2014. She spoke in Russian... translation english subtitles came thru - hard to understand. I watched her hands and did get the sutch. Lost her video. But here finally I found the stutch. This is a zig zag puff stutch that is beautiful. So glad I found it. It being done in the round was hard to find as it didn't specify the zig zag thingy. Either way. It is beautiful stitch and the Ombre cocoa is outstanding. Thanks to this lady who also has a scarf to go with it. KUDOS.

My grown dtr is a Scottish fan and just told me she needed a new hat to go with her new coat. This will be perfect! I am going to my room now to pick out the yarn and get started tonight. I normally don't wear hats, Crystal, because I look like a dork in them and it wreaks havoc on my short baby fine hair because of massive static. We're talking hair sticking straight out on my entire head. But this pattern is so awesome that I'm going to have to give it a try. I(f I still look like a dork, I'll just have to give it to a friend that looks good in hats.) Can't wait to watch the scarf tutorial. Blessings!
