Ultimately whether or not BLM was a scam, I still lost my friendship with my black friends over refusing to buy into the BLM pressure (black square, virtue signalling posts, donations etc) and after 2 years those friendships have not heeled. Even if my suspicions about the BLM organisation was right, my old friends don’t seem to care. Divide and concur at its best

There is a bigger institutional racial activity known as Diversity Inclusion and Equity DIE (NOT equality as positive discrimination is used in place of merit)

Also, you equating the people who blindly follow and support BLM (and other groups) as children, given that many many of them, the overwhelming majority are black people, your comment is very belittling to thoes people, some may equate it ro you being a racist.
I also feel vindicated because I smelled a rat in this organisation and their purported aims from the time it came to prominence around 3 years ago. Some of my friends were very angry with me for taking that viewpoint.

I think victim mentality is overstretched here. Of course a discriminating action can be overlooked but if it's impacting people directly such as employment, housing, banking, health etc. Then, you can't simply overlook and say don't have victim mentally.

Black people on their own could never have mustered the political and economic clout to make victimhood as prominent as it has become.If it were so easy for us to trigger this pathetic virtue signalling and fake love of all things black ....(e.g we now seem to be in every advert, every magazine cover, my local Sainsburys even had "Black History Month" bunting..utterly ridiculous because what exactly is "Black" history??)....we would have done it decades ago!

The USA have a tenacity in their agenda pushing that we thankfully do not, the difference in our size and overall population would attest to that of course but still glad to hear another say we are far more chilled out over here
As a black who was born in Nigeria, this whole BLM thing makes me uncomfortable, I don't want white people to walk on egg shells around me or treat me specially because they are afraid I will accuse them. The host is clearly afraid and didn't even know how to get the conversation started till Zuby made her comfortable.
