I'm still trying to figure out tidal bass fishing - Potomac River BFL

Sub par event for me on the Potomac River. Despite a poor finish here I gained some very valuable experience on the river and I'll be able to use that experience going forward. Check out the video and see how I did and stay tuned until the end to see a preview of my next Potomac River tournament.

Nice fish man. The Potomac is a great place to fish and my favorite. There are some hammers there. Thanks again for another great adventure. Late.

From the sun, I'd say you caught that first one before I even got to launch! I managed five, culling very slightly twice, for 11-14. It certainly hurts throwing back a fish over 12" when you don't have a limit yet! The tide stayed high all day. I never really felt the current of it going out. Definitely different from 'normal' conditions. The extra time did nothing for me. I caught all my fish before 2.

I caught 2 which 1 died in the livewell... Co angler stats after 2 events in 17th. Keep going and doing your strengths!
