Hi Kristin Tablor I love your non elastic headband video tutorial; I Will definitely try my hands at making some of these while using your video tutorial as a guide because they look so simple to make & probably sell or give as gifts for special occasions or whatever else you desire them for or so. However I thank you for sharing this idea(video tutorial) with online viewers who also watched/ have been watching your tutorials & so forth; because I did this searched because I had this idea of making headbands awhile back while I was lying in bed & the taught came back to me today but I was hoping I had found a video tutorial on making a headband without an elastic band I couldn't find any on it; it take me probably/almost the whole day of searching or at least I think so & then when I decided to come back on & check some more I came across this video tutorial
& JP I just had to post; even though I don't usually like to comment first on a page but this one I just had to. Look forward to your Response A.S.A.P! & TAFS. Have a Blessed Weekend.

Nice!! Thank you for your video! I like that you don't use elastic. Is there any reason why you don't sew the edges together then trim the seam allowance versa overlapping the seams and sewing both sides?

      Hi,
You can use either method you want for joining the ends- it just comes down to personal preference.
      Cheers,

      Hi,
When sewing this headband you can use a combination of your standard straight stitch and a zig-zag stitch. The zig-zag stitch is the best way to attach the fabric to the elastic and make sure that it is secure. It doesn't need to be a special zig-zag stitch- just a standard one on your machine.
      Cheers,
      Ashley
