just starting my Ricoh GR III journey and to be honest, I am lost with all the settings. Just starting to understand the concept of isio, aperture and all that. Thank you for your video and explanations. Gonna be a great help for the night shooting. Subscribed and video is liked.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I've got some more night street photography videos coming up soon. It takes a bit of time to get used to the settings but once you do they become like second nature. Happy shooting!
Fantastic video for night shooters. I'll try these settings on my Ricoh GRIII. Last week I came to London from Belgium with the idea to go to the Barbican Center that you like so much. It wasn't that easy to get good shots as it was almost desert. Thanks a lot for your very instructive videos. They are really helpful ! Greetings from Brussels
Great video!! Love from Canada! Your explanation is amazing for someone like me just starting off with this camera and the aesthetic visuals of the video are a plus!! Thank you! 🤍🤍
Great video man! I use Tv mode for handheld shots with Ricoh GRIII at night, set it somewhere between 1/50 and 1/125, but I'll definitely try your setup.
Joe, I thank you so much for your videos as I also have to deal with a disability from Polio and only have the use of my left arm, so I have to adapt. I have a simple question for you. I want to use a diffusion filter on my Ricoh GR3x and I see that in order to do that I must also get a filter adapter. I also own a Sony a7R3 and for years, with that camera and others I owned before it, all I needed was the filter that screwed on to the lens. Can you tell me the thinkinking behind the need for an adapter?
It’s just the way the camera is designed. Unfortunately, I don’t think you can just put filters on the lens directly. The fixed lens of the Ricoh cameras are a completely different design casing which is unlike a separate camera lens.
thanks again for this video and for sharing it with us, much appreciated, this was very helpful and it made me wanna go out shooting some night time pics right now😂📸👍 atb HansP

Thanks very much man. I appreciate it. I like your settings. I'm must give them a go.
If you always keep your screen brightness at the max setting, then why keep it in your ADJ quick settings?
Good point 😅
