    Great sound from that Kemper Profiling Amp! If you played an old 50 buck guitar through that amp it would sound good. Lovely guitars very well played, I don't know who you are man but you are one hell of a player. I Love this style of playing, for me it blows shredding out of the water. It's great to hear a real guitarist, thanks man.

      Never cared for shredding at all. Good sound and a good hard rock beat is all you need to make good rock and roll.

    What I wouldn't give to be able to go and sit down in a guitar shop and make sounds like that :) Just bought an '04 Love Rock, but love the sound of that 57 Les Paul. Fantastic :)

    That Gibson Special has Johnny Thunders ghost in it. The Tokai is great too. Now I'm wishing I got a Tokai Special or GT with p90's instead of the LS142. Oh well, that will be next.

      The Gibson sounds way better in my opinion there's something magical about the Gibson the other guitar sounds good but not as good as the original 57 Gibson Les Paul special. Night and day difference to me actually. That doesn't mean the other guitar doesn't sound superb it does but I would be reaching for the 57 Gibson. Surely you must have known the difference was the 57. Gibson was magical also

    what a freakin' glorious sound from that Gibson!! One of the best if not the best I've heard on YT ever and I've been storming around for ages here... If you could share the amp or whatever you are playing it through, that would be great! Also, I had Haussel p90's in one of my Frank Hartung Junico guitars and they were amazing, you can't go wrong with them... Amazing vid and playing!

    • @AcysLounge
      @AcysLounge  6 років тому +1

      Thanks man, but I can not share any amp settings as ........ I just did not make any notes about the sound and settings I used. It´s recorded with my Kemper, and I think it´s been one of my own made such called Bloody Rocka rigs. Bloody Rocka is my 2008 built from scratch Marshall style amp, also to see and listen in my videos here from mid 2008 date up to about 2012 mid of the year. That´s the story to that sound, just some small room added with my yamaha mixing desk. :-)

      That´s a LSS XX model, the XX is a number, that varies from year to year, as this number is also a price number, that is a typical Tokai thing with their naming the models. So for example .... a LSS 80 (build around 2010..... usually is the same model as a LSS 93 or larger number ........ so not that easy to name that model!

    The Tokai sounds great. But it does not sound like the guitar it is copying. And for me the Original Gibson is just phenomenal sounding. It has that true vintage sound that can only be had with old wood and old pickups. There is a reason they are so expensive. And that one has the mojo. Im guessing a they were played through a Plexi.

      +BigEdWo Unter dem Strich sind es die Geschmäcker und Vorlieben die am Ende den Ausschlag geben. Ich will hier nur zeigen, dass die 1953er PUs von uns einen sehr guten Job machen. Wenn ich hier noch ein wenig schrauben würde (die beiden Gitarren sind verschieden eingestellt und haben verschiedenen Saitenstärken aufgezogen) dann käme das noch deutlich näher zueinander, wobei die alte Gibson etwas andere Grundfrequenzen hat, sie klingt etwas schlanker und hat so eine elegant klingende Mittennase. Mal sehen vielleicht schraube ich noch mal ein bisschen an der Tokai ....... just for fun! :-)
