Update December 25 2020: The animation of this season is based on hypothetical purposes; NOT of the real record breaking season- to counter this, I've added a new wording to the title to prevent misclicks. It's been a ride but the age of the hypothetical animation must end here :)
Thank you for making this the most watched hypo TC animation on this platform. I've never expected this to reach so far high up there. An animation rivalling even some of the most popular TC animations is just unbelievable to me.
CORRECTLY GOTTEN:
- 6 Majors
- Laura was nearly correct however wrong in date and intensity
- Arthur's track was nearly correct however it isn't right in the real world
- Dolly entered the area that formed the real Dolly in the real season; this won't be counted as a fully right stuff
- Marco... nearly. Strength and track is wrong.
This hypo season was 17-11-6 with 243 ACE. The actual season was 30-13-6 with 182 ACE. I never intended this to be a prediction, but I was curious how right I was.

Well Arthur was kind of spot on, even though I missed Bertha.. This animation is only for entertainment purposes and not for real forecasts (though I almost nailed Arthur!). Plus I don't want to see silly comments like "the low level patterns are wrong!!!", this season was just made for fun :)

This guy predicted Laura nearly perfectly, just a tiny bit off and the date was wrong.

The only difference is that the date and it went to the west not the east but still how
Comparing this to reality as of September 4th:
- Arthur’s track is practically the exact same.
- Dolly’s ending roughly mirrored its real track.
- Fay tracked in a similar way to Cristobal.
- Isaias is equal to the stronger model runs of Marco.
- Josephine had interestingly taken the track of Isaias.
- Laura was eerily accurate excluding the place it made landfall.
Laura made landfall as a CAT 4 just as you predicted. But it’s here earlier and in a different spot. Great prediction!

So many things TPE got right:
1. Arthur forming in mid-to-late May NE of the Bahamas
2. Cristobal forming in the Bay of Campeche
3. Laura's track and strength, for the most part (give the man some applause for That!)
4. Marco ending up being a Failicia

*A list of somewhat successfully predicted tracks (dates excluded)*
▪︎Arthur: Pretty close.
▪︎Cristobal: Forms in the same area.
▪︎Dolly: Teddy would take a similar track, although much stronger.
▪︎Fay: Cristobal pretty much took this track.
▪︎Hanna: Teddy takes a similar track, although Hanna's track is a bit too west. And a little stronger.
▪︎Isaias: Actually Delta took a similar track and nearly similar intensities until GoM.
▪︎Josephine: A mixture between Sally and Isaias, forming in same place as Sally, and taking a path similar to Isaias.
▪︎Laura: Very close. In fact, TOO close. It just doesn't regenerate in the Atlantic, although model initially showcased that it would.
▪︎Rene: A regenerated Paulette takes a similar track.

I thought Floyd would be the dad because it's the hurricane that also happens to devastate NC like Isabel, which I should've noticed something wrong at first because Isabel didn't even hit Louisiana at all. Which happens to be the part where Laura devastates the most.

TheHyperTuber I say that Christobal track was way off but in the same position it impacted Mexico then Louisiana Arthur’s track was close but more to the west of the Carolina’s.

Came back to say for exactly 4:38 . That hurricane was Laura and it did hit. Live in south central texas and I usually go to corpus christi beach and it hit around there. But at the beach, the water was surging alottt apparently. I didn’t go but my family went. They Got so paranoid they wanted to leave but just stayed … memories lol.
Arthur's track is almost 100% correct. (track shifted to the east a little, storm wasn't subtropical, dates a little off)

It would've been hard to predict Cristobal forming from a Pacific cyclone's remnants since that happens only once or twice a decade, but that's 2020 for you.

We did end on a sour note. The last storm of the season also happened to be the strongest and most intense storm of the season.
Before Eta and Iota, the strongest storm of the season was Hurricane Laura back in August. Hurricane Delta came up short in October, while Teddy became large in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in September.
A near perfect prediction for both of you (deep into Greeks/Theta)
And yes, this season was solid proof that a late season can also be extremely active/destructive

I have actually been realizing early on this year that the gulf will indeed be a hot spot for hurricanes for 2020. It almost follows exactly what I have predicted.
To add: the only difference I have with what I have come up with is that I predicted a strong hurricane moving through the gulf up to the Texas coastline and making landfall between Corpus Christi and Galveston, possible trajectory headed through central Texas. That's only if the pressure doesn't cause it to veer off towards New Orleans.
