Milton, Nadine, and Adria are damn close to trillion-dollar storms in this scenario C5 wrecking the islands and into Miami or a strengthening C4 into NY Harbor is not something I ever wanna see lol. Not to mention RIP Houston again
@winsweatherupdates6702 The original idea I had for this animation was for it to be an absolute worst-case scenario, so I think those storms really kind of represented that idea lol.
Hurricane Milton - A Living Nightmare for Puerto Rico Hurricane Milton would be a devasting storm, leaving the island with barely anything. Milton’s estimated death toll was around 3,000 to 10,000, as its storm surge up to 28 feet caused devastion in Puerto Rico. The island had to prepare, as a strong hurricane was going to hit. The Island would have no power for a YEAR, and no running water for 1 year and 3 months. The impacts of Milton would still be remembered as today. Most airports got closed due to the windefield being very good, which would mean that the entire island’s population CANNOT Evacute. As the storm approached.. well.. Around 20,000+ people are missing on Puerto Rico to THIS day (2030). After hurricane Milton, 50,000+ were missing.
Truly a storm to remember for generations to come. Milton's records would unfortunately be surpassed only 2 years in 2026, when several storms reached above 190 mph. Milton showed no mercy to any and all locations within its crosshairs, most notably Miami, Florida, which would witness utter devastation as a result. Milton would become the costliest Atlantic Hurricane on record before being surpasses by Adria not even two weeks later. It really goes to show how merciless mother nature can truly be. Despite being a fictional storm, it really showcases how we are at the mercy of mother nature.
The misery inflicted by Milton would be further exasperated by Hurricane Jerry's rampage through the Caribbean and eventually Bermuda and Atlantic Canada, in which Jerry made a 185 mph landfall on PR, a 165 mph landfall on Bermuda, and several c4 and c3 landfalls in Atlantic Canada. Puerto Rico, already battered by Milton the previous year, could do nothing but helplessly watch history repeat itself. Thousands more would die as a result, and the already terrible humanitarian crisis would only be worsened.

@PaperSmudge True. I made this animation mainly for fun. Though, I'm sure the damage or the total # of fatalities could depend on how competent officials were and how well the population was prepared. Though, I guess in the end, it would ultimately just be an educated guess.

What the actual 2024 season was supposed be be like
@Eastsidet03 This was actually supposed to be a worst case scenario for 2024 lol. I started working on this hypo in like April.
Though, needless to say, I don't think anyone could've expected the actual activity thus far in 2024

Not to be rude but no storm is gonna top the 1900 Galveston storm in the Americas because we have radar.

Hurricane Francine wasn't too far off actually. Same intensity but slightly different landfall location (off by maybe 200 miles).
It surprised me how close I was to predicting Francine lol.
