Not knowing a lick of French, yet listening to French Jazz led me to this gem of a human. I had not been fortunate to know of her until December, 2022 when I heard Le Mal di Vivre. The song summons all emotions. It brings me peace and sadness all beautifully bottled in her delivery. Her unmatched voice & the heart in it led me to take a chance, buy a ticket & go watch her live in Toronto this past March. By far the gr8est gift to myself. After what I witnessed, I even got to meet her & thank her for her chosen expression. I didn't know any of her other songs but, her voice, along with the comfort she and her tribe permeated in the auditorium was worth the experience. Be kind to thyself & go watch her live if you can. Ah-mazing.
