Your girl is Back with another video where me and my friends have clarified some notions and stereotypes about NIFT (national institute of fashion technology) . Here we have said things based on our own experience at nift Hyderabad specifically, so it might not align with other nift campuses.

No, you'll get to learn that here...but you can learn it as an additional skill
as you are studying in fashion communication field,which according to you is better investment laptop or tablet?
I am currently in foundation year where we are not taught according to our department so I don't have much to say....but from next sem we'll be studying fashion communication so I think laptop is anytime much better investment but it still always depends on what your interests are
Its better to invest in a Laptop (gaming laptop or MacBook would be better) if someone is studying in fashion communication department. You'll need it for adobe illustrator photoshop InDesign and what not. First year is called Foundation Programme where they don't teach you according to your department but they do teach how to use adobe illustrator and photoshop. Also you will have to make a lot of presentations throughout the first year and even next 3 years after Foundation programme so a laptop is always a better investment over tablet. If u have the money to invest in both then u can do it otherwise i wouldn't suggest wasting money on a tablet since u cannot really use it for everything.

Any department in general is hard ,talking abt art course department such as fashion designing, product design it's very time consuming and requires your 100% concentration as you also have to be creative to stand out but overall yes it's gonna be tough but that's it's abt you gotta keep learning tho
No department is easy and neither it is that difficult....it literally depends on your interests. So choose a department where you can genuinely give your best and can be able to take all the pressure and hardships.
If we don't know stitching we should not go for fashion design??
