Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 чер 2018
- PCOS caused lots of excess shedding and thinning of my hair. After trial and error I figured out how to stop my hair loss and grow it back. Here are the tips that helped me regrow my hair and stop it from falling out.**I want to note that my hair became thinner, I never had bald spots or chunks of hair just falling out, it was more hair in my brush and strands falling out every where I went**

hello following my channl thank you
Im happy I found this channel! Ive been struggling with PCOS since I was in seventh grade... Im 20 now...
I am so happy you did too Carley
Even if the things you suggest don’t work for me I’m so grateful that you came on here and shared your story. I watch your videos because you’re so comforting. Thank you ♥️
I watched this video a day before and I have to say, thank you! I'm so stressed because of my hairloss, I can't wear it down, when I does, my scalp shows up badly and I'm just 18. Now I just calm, because I glad that I can have ponytail. :D And, my hairloss is not that big yet, what can't regrowth ever. So, thank you, I will try to visualize it(and eat clean as possible+use oils), and maybe 1 year later, I will be able to let down my hair
I I agree with you I am just 13 and was diagnosed when I was 12 I am upset my hair started falling out just a few days ago
Nyul no thank you girl
Wow, that's the age I had my gorgeous hair thinned to half its volume.
I'm 36 now and I haven't fixed it yet. Had I known all these back then, I would have had huge chances to fix it.
Now... well, I still believe anything can happen, even after 18 years of trying and not succeeding yet :-)
I wish you the best of health and luck with your hair situation!

Hello any updates its been a year?
When I cut out dairy, I lost 8 lbs in about a 1-3 month time period (I wasn't keeping track of it really closely or anything) without changing anything else about my diet at the time. I was biking regularly to and from school, and to run errands (didn't have a car) and I was eating more salads, pasta dishes (I'm cutting out pasta now), and tacos (kinda random, I know). But the thing about dairy, so true.
I too had very thick straigh and long hair but now i am blad.i am dying inside
Geetika Gogoi I hope you feel better as I know what you mean and it can be depressing.
PCOS leads to so many symptoms that make us feel less feminine, but hang in there. Know that you aren't alone we have all been there and are going through this with you. Keep your chin up and keep fighting the fight! You are stronger than PCOS don't let it define you.

I used to have super thick hair. Lost 2/3 of it and now use a scalp concealer just to feel comfortable leaving the house 😣
All good works goes to Dr iyaremoses on UA-cam he cured me from PCOS with herbal remedy which I ordered from him..
I honestly think you’ve changed my life
Do you think the type of shampoo you use makes a difference? I use head and shoulders at the moment and i’m questioning whether if i should change it. Would love to know your opinion. Thanks :)
hey, I have been struggling with pcos symptoms for a long time but just recently I have seen many youtubers pushing for plant based diet in that case, I am a huge meat lover so I was just wondering, where does the fish meat stands in this...is it harmful the same way or less? or is it possible to eat every other day...thank you for the answer :)
Fish is better than other meats. Fish oil is also good to help fight inflammation.
just try what feels right to you and see what works for you :) i don't think there's this one thing that helps everyone
Hey Annamaria, (that's my sister's name!) you might like meats, but remember that unless you have organic free range beef, lamb, chicken, et. al, the problem is the industry that produces meats use a lot of antibiotics, which plays with OUR hormones as women. Eat free range, organic meats and eggs if you can because you will be eating a cleaner cut of meat. As well, when you eat lower on the foodchain, you will be eating a cleaner diet. Try to eat meats not as "the main filling" but as a small part of your diet. My mom told me that we only need a piece of meat the size of our palm each day, and that can be supplemented with a lot of plant protein. Think about this to balance with what you are eating. I am saying it's healthier to get supplemental nutrition from, say, the broccoli, kale salad, etc. that we eat with a chicken breast or small steak. Indole supplements are converting your food to produce healthier components that help your system, instead of something that might be battling androgens. (male testosterone, that would support male pattern baldness.) Have your thyroid checked as well. Good luck, I am 60 and battling this! Wish me luck! xoxo from Chicago! (look up Dr. Westin Price's commentaries on PCOS here on youtube they are VERY helpful!)
Annamaria I want to let you on a little secret. And that is that the majority of plant based eaters were fish and meat lovers before they changed their diet(even if they wont admit it). So it doesn't matter how much you love it, I promise once you see and feel the changes, you will see why so many people have changed over to it. With that being said my thinning hair was revived before I went plant based, but my hormones still weren't completely balanced and I still did not ovulate (this is with eating organic, free range, wild caught ). Also there are tons of mock meats out on the market to make the transition easier. You do what feels right for you. As far as eating meat every other day being effect I am not sure. Try it out see how you feel or if you notice any changes! Prayers for fast healing and an enjoyable journey to balance
Did eating healthy was main thing that made you regrow you’re hair???
Id say it was a big part of it, plus supplements, laying off of intense workouts, and stress management.
I hope it will happen ...even if I am now 61...the pain from pocs has almost wiped me out combined with the hair loss
I am so sorry to hear this Jeannie. It's never too late to turn your health around. Your not alone
Watermelon Hanna thank u ...I found this helpful because I too have pcos and I am a vegeterian and I have thin hair .
Hi Hannah! Am suffering from pcod. I had lost lot of my hair, only 1/4th of what I had earlier is left. Following whatever you've suggested would lead to re-growth of lost hair? Or those won't return back?
Yes, it takes some time but they will grow back!
prapti chauhan Hey, have you had any success regrowing your hair?
Hello what about ur hair condition now
Really awesome video. Have you ever done a liver and gallbladder flush? I hear that balanced hormones start with a clean liver. Let me know what you think about this. Thanks.
Hey Kenisha! You are so kind! Yes I have in fact I forget which video I mention the liver cleanse I used.
Also spearmint tea to reduce androgens. ☺️
Is vitamin B good for hair loss too?
Could you do an in depth video on your experience with the probiotic you take now in the link? I just purchased it but I want to know ur experience. I want my hair to grow back more than anything!!! Lol
Yes! Thank you for the suggestion!
Hey Hannah, I just started a vegan diet to try to balance out my hormones and stop my hair loss and recent acne (just quit birthcontrol). I was wondering what you eat in a day to get enough protein. Do you just eat beans every day? I really don’t know how to organize my meals... Im losing weight and really shouldn’t. How many times do you eat in a day?
Hey Patricia I highly suggest watching as much what I eat in day vegan videos as possible to get ideas. It can be very easy especially when you just change diets, to not get enough calories in on a vegan diet. Be sure you are eating until you are satisfied and that your plate is full of whole colorful foods. As long as you are eating an assortment of whole foods( veggies, fruit, beans, seeds, nuts, etc.) you will be consuming enough protein. Most everything has protein in it. I always make sure I eat an abundance of food until I am completely satisfied( no restrictions), healthy fats from avocados.
I had thick hair before pcos now my hair is so thin and brittle
PCOS is a total b*tch. Whatever condition your hair is in now know that it can get better. I know it can feel like things will never change, but just remember we are all in this with you.
I’m losing my hair so much it’s PCOS is terrible every day my front bald spot gets worse
thankyou soooo much its infinty to thank you becoz i was like searching and searching for it but no use they just tell why does it happens huh? you are so beautiful you gave a hope for curing it

I'm suffering from pcos since 2 years but now its cured.Currently i suffer from the yellow oily scalp dandruff. Please tell me can we regrow new hair after all this problem is solved?😢💔
My docs haven't given me anything for this and try their best not to..
You just hit on the head what I’ve been worrying about, basically taking those strong medications which would just make my IBS worse (the worse my IBS has been the more my hair as thinned). Fermented food is great if you don’t have histamine intolerance, which you typically do with IBS/SIBO
Thank you so much for sharing❤❤❤
The Happy Mama I got that from the SIBOmadesimple podcast and the SIBOdoctor podcast, invaluable resources for IBS folks but also for any kind of hormonal issues, as everything seems to stem from the gut :)
I also found that as my IBS got worse (it started with food poisoning), I got my period less and less over a series of years, and my hair got thinner. It’s all interconnected for sure
does your hair thin gradually? or is it rapid? just wondering as Ive been diagnosed with telogen effluvium
All good works goes to Dr iyaremoses on UA-cam he cured me from PCOS with herbal remedy which I ordered from him..
will this work for androgenic alopecia as well?
I cant say for certain, sorry :(
Well surely it's the same thing whatever the reason your losing your hair ,!!! Positive thinking !!!
I thought pcos hair loss and Androgenic alopecia were the same thing because in both cases u have high levels of testosterone or low levels of hormones.
You are very positive!
Thank you for this channel! I looked into the probiotic you mentioned. I'm allergic to grass so the one you really like is out for me. The second one I would try but I'm concerned about ordering that from Amazon during 90 degree heat at this time of year. What do you think about Garden of Life Dr. Formulated Probiotics for Women, Once Daily Women’s Probiotics, 50 Billion? I've been taking this for several years. It helps somewhat although I still have a ton of hair shedding and symptoms of IBS. I'm wondering what criteria you use to pick out your probiotic?
I really go based of the studies done with the specific probiotic, and the results people have experienced taking it. Garden of Life is a great brand. If your feeling or seeing a difference I say stick with it.
Hi, could you please link the probiotic you use? And thanks for the info! :)
ah I for got to...its is there now!
I have tried everything: organic food, vegan diet, herbs, probiotics, etc. Nothing has helped my hair loss and it is just becoming worse. I am still following a whole food and organic diet (as much as I can). Probiotics gave me bad stomach aches after about 2 months of use. All of my hormones seem to be low (progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, dhea, cortisol). This makes it really hard for me to figure out if I really have Pcos or another hormonal issue. What are your thoughts on natural progesterone cream? And what about estrogen supplements? (Im 22 btw) Have been losing my hair for 5 years now and i has just gotten worse after quitting birth control (this was a year ago). Hope you can help. Thanks for your videos.
Patricia I know battling PCOS can seem overwhelming at times, but know we are all here with you. Supplements and diet changes take time. Even up to a year. There are so many probiotics out there and they are not created equal. I encourage you to try others! Although I am not a doctor ( which I always recommend you consult them first) to me it sounds like you may need to up your calories and healthy fats. I am all for natural progesterone cream! I also highly recommend you watch my video on fertility foods and include those in your diet. This response may be everywhere but I hope it helps. Hang in there and as annoying as it may sound be patient with your body, even if you don't notice physical changes right away, rest assured if you are following a healthy diet internal changes are occurring and you will see results at some point.
Hey have you been to an endocrinologist? I know you've been to a doctor but an Endocrinologist can really help :)
@India leigh mine is 69 is that ok?
Which probiotic does she take??
I got Birth Control pills and it's reversed my symptoms of hairloss and hair is starting to grow back without me doing all these things. And I had baldness on my scalp, I had to do a combover as a woman at the age of 27.
really? what birth control pill was prescribe to you? i thought taking lo loestrin would help me since I have high dhea. but it caused my hair to fall out
How long did it take before you saw results
Which birth control are you using? And how long did you need to use it before you saw some results?
I was wondering, does wearing bobby pins and hair bands affect the growth of hair?
No. But it can lead to possible breakage.
Hello, what about diet for PCOS, the best diet, everybody have a diferente idea, bt i want to know cuz it is terring me apart, my hair loose
Melissa I highly suggest watching my video diet outline to overcome PCOS I answer this question there!
Thanks for the tips.
you were the inspiration for this video with your last comments, so thank you!
hello following my channl thank you
Please could you do Hair products videos that you use. Thanks
Coming out tomorrow
Would this work with female pattern hair loss?
I can't say for sure but the tips I mention help the body overall so its worth a shot right!?
How do you make sure that you have enough protein on a vegan diet. That is what’s stopping me from trying.
As long as you are eating enough calories on a whole foods plant based diet you get plenty of protien. That was a myth started to scare people from going plant based. Everything has protien however you if you still are hesitant; beans, spirulina, hemp seeds, quinoa, oatmeal, chia seeds, brocolli, tofu, tempeh, flax, pumpkin seeds, and sooo many more are packed with protein. Remember the animals people eat get all their protien from plants:)
Also if i may as a vegan PCOS individual - please make sure you take a B12 supplement as there is little to nil of this vitamin in plant based food unless its enriched with the food item.
thank you so much for making this video. ❤️
Thank you
All good works goes to Dr iyaremoses on UA-cam he cured me from PCOS with herbal remedy which I ordered from him..
Did u have androgenic alopecia?
No
what is probiotics ?
They are live microbes(or good bacteria) that live in your gut. They make up 70 percent of your immune system and digest our food.
The only thing that helped me was being a low dose of birthcontrol and low dose of blood pressure it’s a blocker for hair loss
I am happy you found something that helps you! Just be aware those did not heal whatever was causing the hair loss, it is just covering the symptom. With that being said whatever works for you embrace and do what feels right for you!
The Happy Mama yes well aware
1:37 that’s me lol
hello following my channl thank you
how to treat hair loss: visualise yourself with thick hair
did it work for you?
@@doulidle3717 hahahahahah
haha , but i'm serious! it's a genuine question?
i had to stop watching the video soon after that because it made me too angry. i don't support the whole "visualise what you want and you get it" approach. you can't just visualise yourself healthy and then be magically healthy. in my opinion health issues need actual treatment. i get very emotional when it comes to hairloss because i'm brushing out a little hamster every single day and i'm just hoping that some of my hair will actually stay.
+DOU lidle what did help me was seeing an endocrinologist who prescribed testosterone blockers. unfortunately, i had to stop the medication due to side effects but i'll keep trying other options :) i can definitely recommend seeing a specialist. hope you're ok :)
