Sarah -n- Tuned hi, do you know if there are any problems that come with the car? Or some that come down the road? Because I am seriously considering buying this car but I have seen many mixed reviews online about Hyundai as a brand it’s self
@@prosperous4719 not sure if you have got the car or not. Here is some feedback from a 2018 owner. I did have some problem with the DCT, it shifting logic is more like a Eco car, but I heard that they have rerune the TCU from 2019, so it should be more sporty now. Oil change needs to be on time, as the engine seems to be very sensitive to it. But its still within acceptable range, you can feel loss of power after 5000 miles without changing the oil. So there aren't any big issues with this car, and I have to say I enjoy driving it every single time. You get more than what you pay for
for a person that does their own work on their own cars, this is the best review i have ever seen. no one ever shows the roominess of the engine and how hard or easy it is to work on, thank you! and the road test was awesome and honest. i'd call this a legit real world test review. super good stuff. i love the style of reviewing.

@@marlon2849 Absolutely !!! Bad ass little tracksters. I just love the sneaky effect of the G70 3.3T though. Luxurious ride that can kick the unsuspecting red light trolls back to the curb hehe. I'm certain that no one else is doing that in their car reviews. You're one of a kind; and we love that! Keep up the great work.
Nice to see reviewers liking it. I bought a 2018 Sport with DCT brand new about 6 months ago. With discounts/rebates, it was $21.3k and I got 0% financing and lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealership. That's a hard deal to beat and the DCT is faster than the manual so it's a win-win for me. Is it perfect? Nope, but it's a LOT of car for the money.
This is what I like with your reviews Sarah - you are not afraid to test cars that are "cheap" and to admit that you really liked them. I can't stand reviewers that look down on cars that are not luxury cars - the wast majority of us viewers probably own and love pretty normal cars and there is nothing wrong with that. Thank you for another great review and Stay AWESOME!
I love this car. I have a 2018 although mine is just a value model, I love it. Has all the features I want. I’m pretty sure my my next car will be the sport or the Kia Soul Gt line with the turbo. Great review Sarah! It really is an underrated car!
So bad, in Germany all cars come standard without any pistol in the door pocket. And even an aftermarket upgrade will cause you lots of trouble. According to gun laws Germany is what California is for car mods because of emission standards. Nearly nothing is legal 😂😂

Nice review Sarah, watching for at least the 3rd time. Might have to pick one of these up. Bought my wife a 2015 Elantra Limited which has been perfect since day one. All it has needed has been oil changes front break pads, battery and 4 Tries in the last almost 60 K miles!! It’s never needed factory warranty work!!! I have become a BIG HYUNDAI FANBOY!! Years ago I hated these cars, Hyundai has come a long way!!!👍🏻
Yea, buddy! Hot Sauce on the headliner! Love the hair movement on braking. Maybe you could rate the braking by how close your hair approaches the windshield.
Smiles per value cars are fun to drive. Especially because most day to day driving is limited by speed limits and traffic. Please review the N-line and see if it's an improved version of this. Another great video!

Hey Sarah, enjoy your reviews and project videos. Glad to see you enjoy the car, and yes - there's a pretty active aftermarket community for the 1.6l engine with this sedan, and the GT hatch. I suggest you try driving a modded version with tune, the car really comes alive, I bet you would feel the fun even more. Sway bar, cat deletes, downpipe and tune - still can't say it's fast but it's super fun!
You're videos are fun to watch. You always seem likenyou are having a blast. The biggest negative that I feel car companies are doing is putting tiny engines in vehicles with Turbo. My wife's 2017 Fusion has a 1.5L turbo. My 2018 Elantra has a 2.0L. Just turbo the bigger engine damn it!

Hyundai is making awesome cars with awesome value and if you want another pleasant surprise the 2016 Sonata Eco 1.6T with the 7-spd DCT is not the end-all be-all of cars but it rips, gets amazing gas mileage, and when the transmission isn't trying to stall the car off the line like a teenager learning to drive it hooks and goes like a champ. It is quiet at cruise and the base radio isn't 100% garbage - it makes good use of time-alignment and offers carplay and android auto. The phone call quality is also superior to a similar generation Accord. Of all the Sonatas, the Eco was weirdly the quickest and the frugalistness. It is a solid drive on the skinny wheels but doesn't pretend to be track star. You know its a ringer when the new Sonata came out and they made sure you paid more for their sweeter powertrains. No to mention I know that it was possible to get one at a major discount at the end of the year when all Hyundai's cars had been rejected by auto-snobs looking for Japanese reliables. What makes it a rare nugget is that you don't see a lot of them. Hyundai must've realized that they were giving away a powertrain that could be used to make special cars like the Elantra SPURT!
I swear at the 10 minute mark, I was blown away when you made the offhand comment about the location of the engine mount. You are constantly making comments about how hard it will be to work on the engine or the turbo. I know this makes sense for you to talk about that...but at the same time....I am hopeful your future husband is the type of guy who has changed a clutch by himself. you are eerily scary yet very elegant and high class. you dearly want the MR2 engine bay to look flawless and I love when you talk about that. This reflects on your true personality. youre super articulate....(but when I see you eat in these cars....it reminds me that NO one is perfect....😣😣😣)
I find the Elantra GT N-line (Hatchback version of this car) is better looking, and can come with a manual transmission. It's definitely the car I'd go for if I wanted a cheaper "warm" hatchback... but I'm going all out and buying a Veloster N this weekend. Hyundai/Genesis/Kia has been killing it with their cars/SUV's lately. Very well thought out, and feature packed cars for the price. Nice review, always refreshing to watch your video's over some others.

Excellent Fair and honest review. Hyundai is definitely doing things right but there is still such a stigma behind the name because of the quality and design flaws of the past. Most people when I tell them I drive a Hyundai Sonata get a weird look on their face like they just stepped in dog shit. Then I let them test drive it and the value, as well as the 2.0T win them over
Yep, upgrade the tires, when it's time, and the car is even better 👌 An inexpensive car that is fun to drive is a practical daily option. Not too shabby 😉
I have a 2018 ES DCT, and love it! I have surprised a few VW Golf GTIs that simply underestimated me off the line, and could not catch up in time to win the 1/4 mile... However, to be completely honest, after the 1/4, the GTIs HP/Torque does take over... Curious to see if you will do the new 2020 Kia Forte GT2 w/DCT sometime soon...

Just a stage 1 93 octane tune will produce 250 hp 290 ft lbs torque. This engine has been refined and is actually quite good. Far better than the 1.5 from honda.

I'm interested to see you review the 2020 Kia Forte GT which has a manual gearbox, same 1.6t engine, and tweaked suspension. Still don't get the beans score though but I enjoy your reviews!
I love that you have some protection there in the door pocket. A pretty lady like you, alone in an abandoned warehouse? Yeah, that's only smart. Good on ya!
Reminds me of Mazda back in the early 2000s. Zoom zoom and zippy sort of experience. But I can stop seeing Sonic the Hedgehog's Dr. Robotnik in the styling. Those headlights look like his wild mustache flaring out.

Car manufacturers need to learn this: there are 60% countries in the world nowadays get 40 degree in summer time so ventilating cooling seat is as essential as heated seat!
agree with everyone , love these reviews - different in a good way ! Looking for a new car and haven't looked at this brand - after this I surely will, it looks awesome ! Thanks 😃
Hey Sarah good to see you!
Hi Sarah! Great review. I am currently looking at the 2020 version of this car and I really like it! I currently have 2017 honda civic hatchback and just bored of it. Do you think the 2020 version of this car is worth a 3-year lease on it? Please let me know your thoughts. :)
You are so frickin awesome Sarah!
I'm interested to see you review the 2020 Kia Forte GT which has a manual gearbox, same 1.6t engine, and tweaked suspension. Still don't get the beans score though but I enjoy your reviews!
7 dct option. 6 speed manual standard on the sport. Dct is faster and has better mpg. Cheap at end of year clear out
I love that you have some protection there in the door pocket. A pretty lady like you, alone in an abandoned warehouse? Yeah, that's only smart. Good on ya!
I have the 2018 model. I like the styling of mine better from the front and rear facia, to the wheels. Still a great car though!
A fun car without a manual transmission is not a fun car. PS: excellent polymer protection at 3:12. Bravo young lady.
genericdenizen1 it’s 2019, that’s simply not true anymore.
Reminds me of Mazda back in the early 2000s. Zoom zoom and zippy sort of experience. But I can stop seeing Sonic the Hedgehog's Dr. Robotnik in the styling. Those headlights look like his wild mustache flaring out.
Nice review Sarah!!
Sarah when you where talking about the kinda of cheap plastic in the car and you had the driver's door open I saw a gun in the door where the bottle of water goes nice I like it . I did purchase the same car but the 2020 and I like it coming from a basic 2013 Elantra a much improved car for me . 👍👍
Looks way better than the fugly civic we have in Europe please bring us this, hyundai!
The 1.6 liter motor, no matter what car, is a perfect engine to supercharge, turbo's are for after motors✨🏁🤗🔧🌵🤷🐈🌱☕🦖🏜️🦕
