I am so glad that as a 15 year old I had the were withal to listen to my body and realize that the pill was not for me, I didn’t like the way it made me feel so I was on it for less than 6 months. Also was getting it from planned parenthood so I’m glad I didn’t support them for any longer than I did.

Yeah it made me feel weird and not myself when I got on it at 17. And then I tried to get on it again at 22 and I felt the same way. I think it ruined a relationship for me because I just stopped feeling like myself, I got very depressed and didn't want my bf at the time to kiss or even touch me. 😔

I’ve always been pro life. But I’m a birth doula and i was the doula for my best friend. Her baby girl was still born. After holding that lifeless 8oz 9in little girl in my hands I’m more pro life-anti abortion than ever. These babies and their mothers deserve to be protected and supported.

  • @melsop54

I agree with the whole showing the images thing. They are POWERFUL images. They cut deep. I mean, they are pictures of dead babies. Often times, it's a reality MOST people are unaware of, and being forced to see it without even a slight prior prep for it...it can be more than enough to trigger the fight or flight. I 100% think the images SHOULD be seen, cause if there is nothing at all wrong with abortion, than the images themselves should mean nothing when viewed either. The only reason the pictures WOULD hit you is if you instinctively knew something was very wrong with them.

Diapers are the problem if u don't use cloth diapers, which, if u use simple old fashioned ones, are not that costly. If I could change them on my baby brother at age 8 1/2 & 9, and at least by my little sis when 11, even do the pre-rinse of poopy ones in the toilet, and rinse then put in pail to soak , and hang put on the line to dry, also bring in, fold & put away.. ( I don't really understand the modern claim that if u have kids, laundry never gets folded or put away...by thr time i was 5, I was helping majorly with that and our family of 5 at the time, even w being a dairy farm family, didn't have mountains of it, either. And I spent tons of time playing, btw. Even with nightly barn chores.) . Don't get me wrong, I'm terrible with getting laundry folded and put away now, and I don't have kids. I do have health issues, and can only imagine having very young kids along with any other tough factors, and am not picking on anyone for using cloth diapers or not, or putting away laundry or not. I mean only to speak to what is possible, esp. as the spoken of costs of diapers alone can make these gals think they need to abort ( why not adopt ... apparently that's another discussion). The problem of day care not accepting them is another problem, and understandably so to some extent, but I also wish more of these women were matched up with non-official day care options. Esp. with the model of, I forget the name, but companies that are the middleman for nannies, or housecleaners.. . Of course that will add to the cost, but maybe that's one way for pro-lifers to help raise funds for or run themselves, and at least not have to just foot the whole bill for daycare ( if they even offer that, & just for example). We also need to inspire and equip ( 1st aid classes, child-proofing needs or whatever else is needed ) local women who could become these "lay" providers/babysitters .

There always has been and there always will be injustice, hurt, pain, etc within the human race. That is part of the fallen human existence. You can't eliminate it. Even if your life is technically perfect, you WILL suffer the death of a loved one and it will hurt. It really blows my mind when people argue that pro-life folks must consider and have a solution for every single one of life's possible injustices BEFORE taking up a pro-life position.
Why is it that no one is required to make every possible attempt in the 9 months of pregnancy to sort through any issues that can be of detriment to their child before considering abortion? As in like "If you go through ALLLL these things and figure out none of it worked, then you can abort. But not before."
Intellectual consistency with the first argument would require this, as you could not require fully understanding and solving all the worlds problem before being pro life but support abortion BEFORE considering and attempting to solve all the same first as well.

I sort of want to stop taking the pill, but I'm not confident enough to bring it up. And I live in supported living, so it's not just me stopping picking up the prescription and stop taking it. That would be what I would do if I could simply privately do that. But I can't I get given my meds from staff members, so it wouldn't be a private decision. Also I'm not completely sure
It was definately the right decision to go on it, as I was struggling with the idea of being heavy enough to get my period after anorexia recovery weight gain. And despite it not working like I wanted it to because of med interactions it did calm my anxiety with my period. I've come to terms with my weight and my period now, but it still helps with cramps. I don't get the same level of pain with the pill. So far haven't been bent over in agony, not able to function for a few hours. So it's definstely tempting to stay on it.
I still feel trapped on it though, like I can't choose to go off it.

Hey I just wanted to let you know there are better newer methods for periods. (Coming from someone originally put on the pill with multiple fibroid, ridiculous heavy flow, and lifelong pain.) They have period gummies that help with nutrition which plays a huge roll in pain. The right ones work. (Vitamin K+ eases cramps) Also ensuring your iron and potassium intake are high enough. Since you deplete iron losing blood and even minimal loss can cause fatigue. Pelvic stretches days prior to your begin cycle as well as pelvic muscle exercises do wonders and cut the pain in half. There's also this new app with simple test strips that helps you track your fertile days to avoid coitus on them and use toys/hands/etc. Also, primrose, the herb in pill form near the vitamins section does wonders for irritability and poor mood. Sharing this in hopes it may work for you. Best wishes.

Is it a baby in your belly....or not?
That's the ONLY question that matters.
ALL other question are immediately answered once you answer that.
If it's a baby then you can't kill it.
If it's not a baby then no one cares.
    But it can't be both
And if it's not a baby then go to group therapy for miscarriage and tell them all to stop crying cos it wasn't even a baby yet ...
Oh... That's right, you can't do that cos it would be beyond cruel and sick...
    Because???
    They lost a baby...
    Because??
    It's a baby.
You can't chop it into bits you monster!!! ..
No .. not even if a bad thing happens to you and you're sad... OMFG.
If you think you have a circumstances where it's ok to destroy a baby then just apply your excuse but pretend it's a born baby 2 months old. Or a 6 month old...
    They are still utterly dependent...
They still haven't became "properly conscious"
"Omg you can't ki11 your 3 month old baby in the crib"
If it's a baby then it's the same thing 1 month before it's born as 1 month after...
    It's literally the same thing.
    You can't destroy innocent babies.
Untill you answer if it's a baby or not we have nothing to talk about.
And shame on anyone who even tries to make an excuse for why it's ok ... When were talking about destroying innocent babies.
    My god.

27:35 I LOVE the fact how easily and casualy she says "it was only for men the case to be more likely to be depressed."
I know this video is 4 years old but what the actual f...? I mean HELLO?
I am glad that this is happening. Since unaliving rates still are much higher in men than women. Now women go and equalize that and it suddenly becomes a problem?
Before it wasn't? Talkin about being equal, men are always less than the woman. You can't prove me otherwise.
ALL the statistics show how men are treated. If you still don't believe me. Go online and give yourself a female name and picture. Go on discord, anywhere and see how men are running towards your help.
Any woman running towards men that is in need of help? Oh come on.

This is the most compassionate speech I have heard from Kristan Hawkins. When I watch a lot of her videos, while the information about abortion is accurate, the compassion for the women tend to lack versus the unborn child. It’s not about abortion for real but lack of identity and awareness of healthy boundaries. What a marriage and true love is, many don’t know. These principles are not taught enough in church and our communities. The issues of ostracism against the poor and single parents needs to cease. We need to support these families holistically rather than deal with it after it has gotten to the abortion level. We need more preventive measures. Sex needs to be taught in its proper context not glamorized. We got to get back to basics.

  • @arctain1
    @arctain1 7 місяців тому

Kristan doesn’t want to make abortion illegal. To make it illegal would be to criminalize it. That those that do the act of killing a child are criminals, and therefore are judged as ‘Bad’. She doesn’t want that.
If you destroy a Bald Eagle egg, it’s a Federal criminal act governed by Title 16. Sec. 668(a). You can be judged guilty, and have a fine of up to $5000 and a year in prison. Guilty people who willfully and with wanton disregard destroy a Bald Eagle egg are criminals who are BAD people. The circumstances that led a person to willfully and with disregard kill an unborn Bald Eagle may be mitigating circumstances when sentenced, but it takes nothing away from the guilt and judgement that the person committed a bad action.
Kristan wants less judgement for a person (man, woman, provider, drug manufacturer, or drug distributor) who kills a human child in utero than a person who destroys a bald eagle egg. Let that sink in. She claims to want to stop abortion, but she doesn’t want people to feel bad about it when they kill a child in utero.
