Omigod, Kassandra!! The block between the thighs was the game changer I needed! I touched both my heels for the first time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ❤️❤️
I am going to try this tonight during my practice, thanks for the great tutorial. When it comes to yoga I always trust you to have my back! (see what I did there?) 😂😂😂
Hi Kassandra, thanks for this tutorial!! It was really helpful. Do you have a tutorial for chataranga? I am not sure if my form for that pose is correct. Thanks for being you!!🥰🧘🏻♀️
I’ve just discovered your channel and as a beginner yogi , this video is amazing so helpful, you’re so informative and could watch you for hours. Thank you so much! I came across this pose online and instantly wanted to try it because there’s just something so beautiful about it. Thanks so much! ☺️
Thank you Kassandra! I really like camel pose, but I still struggle with it sometimes too. My yoga teacher always tells me with backbends that I'm opening the front of my body, rather than closing the back, and that really helps :)
Thanks for the tutorial! I have low back problems (3 bulging discs) and have to really concentrate on lengthening the low spine. I also get light headed in this pose but I think it was because I was falling back more into it then lifting into it. And fun fact... I'm in Newfoundland and will be attending your workshop Friday! I'm looking forward to it!
This tutorial was so useful, I struggle more with camel pose than with bird of paradise haha. Could you also please do a tutorial on extended side angle and warrior 1? I always feel like I do them with wrong alignment..
One thing I'll add is that make sure your lower abs are engaged. This ensures that you don't dump your weight into your lower back or bend into your lower back.
Thank you! I can finally do a proper camel pose after watching your video. Engaging the adductor muscle is definitely the tip! And my back dont feel like it is going to break. Kudos!
Kim Fulmer Hi Kim. This happens to me , as well, whenever I go too deep into camel and also attempt to "open" my throat. The very first variation that Kassandra showed(with or without the block) is as far as I'm able to go, so that nausea doesn't kick in. So, maybe try the "simple" variation. Yoga is really about doing what feels good for you.🙂🙏🏽

Yes, at the moment I opened my chest, wow, I could do it, thank you very much.
Great basic building blocks leading into the full pose. I now am reevaluating my presentation to my students, and myself. Namaste.
This is one of the pose, I find very difficult, the way u explained where to focus..is superb
thank you very much, this is actually the only good TUTORIAL video about how to do it correctly and how to improve it XD

Thank you very, very much for the guidance on this pose. I will try the 'block' method to see the difference it makes. Namaste dear Kassandra.

Thanks Robyn!
Would you mind explaining how to make NAULI??? Many Thanks!!!
I can make a video explaining it but honestly I'm not all that good at it! It's very challenging.
I love this thank you!
Thank you so much kassandra
Very helpful and inspiring ❤️

Great video! I only really enjoy camel at the end of a hot yoga practice and my body's all warm and happy haha 😂
Skandasana pls
Good idea!!
Camel always makes me feel nauseous. How do I prevent that?
Hey Kim, do you experience that in any other backbends or inversions? Do you have low blood pressure or vertigo?
Yoga with Kassandra No, just this pose. I do wheel and bow just fine. As soon as I start to lean back in camel, I start to feel sick to my stomach.
