@Idot. Definitely, but you may see way better performance with a €15 gpu off ebay, that igpu is really going to bottleneck your system as it's only meant for emergencies as far as I know.
After all of this is done, if you’re fps is still trash, you should put on fullscreen mode and lower the resolution to where you get playable fps and playable resolution at the same time. This almost always works. Anyways, great video NotroDan as always. I would kinda like to see what the fps would be with Lunar Client, but it might overwhelm the system. So thanks!
I have had 60 fps before and now I have over 100! Thanks! (For everyone saying that 60 fps is good enough, I only got 60 fps when i was afk and when pvping or just moving, it would go down to 5 fps)
Mine I have Dell Inspiron N4050 Intel HD 3000 and i play on 1.8.9 Cracked Lunar Client and I play on medium settings in It and I get 50 to 130 fps and sometimes to 30 cause of fps drops ;) It's playable but if I record with OBS I get only 0 to 40 fps ;(
For people still struggling with the FPS and not seeing any difference I would suggest to see if fast rendering is causing it. I have 2 laptops and on one fast rendering is decreasing my FPS drastically and on the second one it's the other way around.
I'm pretty sure Fast Render increases the FPS, but when you get better FPS, you are then getting bottlenecked by your CPU and therefore getting lower frames. I recommend experimenting with turning on sky, fog, or smooth lighting (for some reason it may increase FPS when you're on a low-end CPU)
Try running Minecraft bedrock edition on the laptop since it tends to run much smoother. Just curious to see the fps difference between the two versions.
Linux would have actually been the best choice on this laptop, because of the Mesa drivers which have much better OpenGL support, so the FPS will definitely improve.

There’s a lot that script does way wrong. Don’t use it. For example, it automatically turns Render Regions on, which should not be used for integrated graphics, and since most low-end laptops have integrated graphics, that’s a pretty dumb mistake for them to make. And if they make a mistake like that, I doubt that script did anything useful because the things it does right and the things it does wrong cancel it out.
Aside from optifine and windows optimization settings you can also try downloading some more optimization mods, like Vanilla Tweaks, NoFog, Lazydfu, Saturn, FastSuite, FerriteCore, entity culling and etc... All of these mods change minecraft's RAM and CPU usage so you'll get alot more fps. I have a laptop worse than the one shown in the video and i get about 60-80 fps with them (keeping in mind i mentioned some mods that are only available for 1.8).
for i think 1.16+ you can use sodium, phosphor, indium, indigo, iris(for shaders), memory leak fix, lazydfu, instantly fast, potatopc boost (or something to do with potato), Starlight, etc. the whole sodium line fixed my fps problem when i was at like 4 gb of ddr4 ram and an AMD cpu that was so bad they turned it into a graphics card line and completly stopped its production. I get avg 110 fps now
Open Minecraft optifine and then go to options then go to video settings then performance and then turn off all and then turn on only Fast Render, Render Regions and Smart Animations and then full-screen your minecraft and set Max frames 60 and you will get 60 constantly because I have a low-end laptop which have 3gb ram and Intel HD graphics and Intel Pentium processor and lowing down all settings and doing things that I told I did that in my laptop and it was running 60 FPS constantly on 1.8.9
I'd suggest Play with Lunar Client and set customized resolution and keep on playing windowed mode and set it into any 16:9 ratio window so it would still having viewing angles such as 1120x630 or 1056x594 Also do disable startup programs in task manager, manually tweak powerplan, and if Win10 have gamedvr you should definetely disable it in regedit since it has quite the effect on performance stability in my observation.

you should try decreasing the amount of ram you allocate to mc, I once made the mistake of allocating more than 4gb of ram for vanilla minecraft, decreased my fps from 300 to 15, also use a client other than the vanilla one, I recommend lunar, also you should try giving ur laptop more virtual ram, and use a 8x or 16x texture pack don't use the vanilla one, I'd also recommend that you don't just decrease the render distance to 2 or 4, use 8, you can't really notice any changes in smoothness after you pass 60 fps I have a pretty trash laptop too, but by experimenting I raised my fps from 25~30 to 300~1500 my pc specs are intel core i3 2.20 ghz 8gb ram 1tb hard drive Intel uhd 620 graphics

he records using a sort of device plugged into the laptop that records everything on the screen, not via obs. Via this way you don't have lag since it's not a program that takes up ram. He just sticks the device after he's done recording in his main pc, and edits + renders it.
Yo man, what's going? Hope you're doing good. As a Minecraft veteran who have been watching videos since 1.8, playing pocket edition since 1.11 and playing Java since 1.16, and at the same time being a techie, I'll recommend a few things that you and the people with low end laptops should do. My specs are as bad as yours, but I get 72 fps+ in it. 1. Never play single player, if you want to play single player, make a server that only you know or join one and then play. 2. Use Optifine always or use ForgeOptifine if you want to play with mods but still have performance. 3. Enjoy! XD (Btw I tried these in a 10yr old laptop and it is the one which is getting 72 fps+ in multiplayer 1.18.2) (And also, love your Content, keep up the great work!!!)
Heres all ways that I know boost performance for minecraft: Batlez, Azurite etc.(be really careful to not break your pc with these), Clients and Mods, Lesoot Java Arguments (experimental), Texturepacks, Powerplans (don't know if they do boost fps), Custom OS (be really careful to not break your pc with these), ParkControl, Process Lasso, disabling startup processes, configuring windows appearance, Enabling game mode, Chris Titus Tech Windows Debloater, and CCleaner
If you can't play with low render distance (3 is good for FPS) then: Video Settings -> Details -> Entity Distance 50%. That helps entities being shown despite low render distance
any recommendations for macbooks. i prefer windows have installed windows on macbooks. my 13 yr old daughter installed linux on her macbook thinking of uninstalling and installing AtlasOS or Win11 so she can play her Roblox and Minecraft.
I recommend the people who has very very bad laptops (im talking like worse than a low-end pc) maybe you should try older versions like 1.16 or maybe 1.13 and make sure to run optifine because it helps your game run smoother and set your settings to the lowest and do not use any texture pack or shader at all and edit your performance on your laptop for the best results if this doesn’t work then I recommend you to just throw your laptop out of your window :/ I usually put the max FPS to 80 because when i do it to unlimited many programs that are running in the background for example your services or other stuff
Not sure if the m330 has overclock support, you should try it. Install msi afterburner and set up an on screen display, so that we can see what is the bottleneck of this laptop
by default mincecraft onlu utilizes 2gb of ram to change this go to your minecraft version installation setting you will find a weird looking text all you have to do is just change the number 2 to 4 then save, and you will get alot more fps
Interesting. I did some optimizations on my old cheap HP laptop and got an average of 65-85 FPS at first, dipping down to 25-35 when moving far quickly. But now for whatever reason it’s 35-45 FPS dipping down to 0-4 or sometimes completely freezing for a second or two when trying to move far distances quickly. So I am seeing what else I can do to optimize. I wish I knew why it dropped from 65-85 to 35-45 overnight. I changed absolutely nothing, just booted the game back up the next day and it wasn’t nearly as good. Again didn’t change anything, no extra programs or anything running. I suppose I should test a few different worlds, though I wouldn’t think world vs world would be that much difference? Playing on optifine 1.19.2 currently, with 4 render distance, playing in fullscreen (witch does make a difference), almost all settings set to fast and all animations disabled. I say *almost* all settings set to fast because I found there are a few that actually hurt my performance when set to fast. Like smooth FPS, with it on I get lower FPS and way more lag spikes. Also I forget what the other one is I’ll update my comment with it tomorrow but it’s not recommended for integrated graphics cards so I originally left it off but then tested it with it on at one point and it brought my FPS from a relatively smooth 45 to an even smoother 65-85. I was blown away. I didn’t think in a million years I would get 85 and even 90-97 FPS at some points, on this 8 year old bottom of the barrel $200 MSRP 1GHz potato slow HP laptop. Again unfortunately it did not stick but I did it once so I know it can be done again. This hone program seems pretty useful though so maybe I’ll check that out. Not looking for insane performance, tbh for this laptop I’ll be happy with a smooth 30 FPS. Witch again I get over 30 now no problem but with nasty lag spikes witch are my main concern. If anyone has any ideas please let me know (:

you should try decreasing the amount of ram you allocate to mc, I once made the mistake of allocating more than 4gb of ram for vanilla minecraft, decreased my fps from 300 to 15, also use a client other than the vanilla one, I recommend lunar, also you should try giving ur laptop more virtual ram, and use a 8x or 16x texture pack don't use the vanilla one, I'd also recommend that you don't just decrease the render distance to 2 or 4, use 8, you can't really notice any changes in smoothness after you pass 60 fps
I have a pretty trash laptop too, but by experimenting I raised my fps from 25~30 to 300~1500
my pc specs are
intel core i3 2.20 ghz
8gb ram
1tb hard drive
Intel uhd 620 graphics
he tryed lunar it didnt work
@@jrtgaming6404 he should use cmpack
Since I get more FPS there than lunar
@@Tiyooy what is cmpack?
@@jrtgaming6404 yea he might have allocated too much ram to it
@@jrtgaming6404 it's a 1.8.9 client
Could you make a video for low end MacBooks, it would help a load of people in the community, including me! Love you and your uploads man, always love to see a video coming from you.
thanks this helped me a lot I can get more than a hundred but it keeps going down to 5 every now and then and it’s annoying
i love u r tech videos keep em comin
finally got a high end gaming pc I’m so exited
I get 100 to 200 fps in 1.8.9 with 1080p graphics but I would recommend turning the resolution down to 720p if needed, but I play on 1600 x 900 for the best visuals to fps ratio!!!
I have Intel core Quad processor 2.40 hz. Will Minecraft run smoothly?
In task manager, go to details and the Java right click it and set priority to high.
Thank you so much bro your video help really much❤️
My cpu : 4% 😎
Turns on Minecraft
Java : RRRRRRRR
HELPED SO MUCH OMG TY
I have a high end laptop and i am watching this video
Minecraft optimization 😂
Task manager > processes > find the game > right click > set priority > High
note that this makes it use more resources on the game so it may lead to overheating.
I can confirm this works. the performance of your low end laptop will be amazing after using Atlas OS
or you could use linux instead since it gives better performance anyway
Try installing MSI Afterburner, it monitors your cpu usage, gpu usage, cpu and gpu temps and your frame rate.
Can u plz do a video about obs settings for low-pc (for this laptop u have)
he records using a sort of device plugged into the laptop that records everything on the screen, not via obs. Via this way you don't have lag since it's not a program that takes up ram. He just sticks the device after he's done recording in his main pc, and edits + renders it.
Wow the video was recorded the same day it was uploaded
Yo man, what's going? Hope you're doing good.
As a Minecraft veteran who have been watching videos since 1.8, playing pocket edition since 1.11 and playing Java since 1.16, and at the same time being a techie, I'll recommend a few things that you and the people with low end laptops should do. My specs are as bad as yours, but I get 72 fps+ in it.
1. Never play single player, if you want to play single player, make a server that only you know or join one and then play.
2. Use Optifine always or use ForgeOptifine if you want to play with mods but still have performance.
3. Enjoy! XD
(Btw I tried these in a 10yr old laptop and it is the one which is getting 72 fps+ in multiplayer 1.18.2)
(And also, love your Content, keep up the great work!!!)
using sodium, starlight and lithium for the fabric loader is so much better than using optifine
Heres all ways that I know boost performance for minecraft:
Batlez, Azurite etc.(be really careful to not break your pc with these), Clients and Mods,
Lesoot Java Arguments (experimental), Texturepacks, Powerplans (don't know if they do boost fps),
Custom OS (be really careful to not break your pc with these), ParkControl,
Process Lasso, disabling startup processes, configuring windows appearance,
Enabling game mode, Chris Titus Tech Windows Debloater, and CCleaner
If you can't play with low render distance (3 is good for FPS) then: Video Settings -> Details -> Entity Distance 50%. That helps entities being shown despite low render distance
@BZE3255Officials works on 1.19
you can use a fabric mod called sodium as it significantly boosts fps
I would like to know what do you use for recording cause it doesn’t seem to lower your fps?
I rlly like this series
God its a pain for low end gamers with 20 fps on hypixel etc, Imma try this out on my very low end pc and see
Do you realize how often you say "yeah" lol?
Love this series though
You should try sodium + fabric! I see an another fps boosting video, and in that video, the guy used sodium and he got even more fps
Does the intel driver and support assistant boost your laptop performance
I recommed that you go to gaming in settings and turn off xbox game bar and the recorder.
I get around 30-40 fps with my trash laptop but with these setting it might get boosted thanks buddy for the video 👍✌️🙂
any recommendations for macbooks. i prefer windows have installed windows on macbooks. my 13 yr old daughter installed linux on her macbook thinking of uninstalling and installing AtlasOS or Win11 so she can play her Roblox and Minecraft.
Why did you cut off windows toolbox part of the video?
Finally, I can speed up my lowest possible end laptop!
In minecraft
Thanks dude😂 now I can get 6 fps solidly on Minecraft after sometime still the same
I recommend the people who has very very bad laptops (im talking like worse than a low-end pc) maybe you should try older versions like 1.16 or maybe 1.13 and make sure to run optifine because it helps your game run smoother and set your settings to the lowest and do not use any texture pack or shader at all and edit your performance on your laptop for the best results if this doesn’t work then I recommend you to just throw your laptop out of your window :/
I usually put the max FPS to 80 because when i do it to unlimited many programs that are running in the background for example your services or other stuff
What PC recorder do you use the laptop? Pls reply
Not sure if the m330 has overclock support, you should try it. Install msi afterburner and set up an on screen display, so that we can see what is the bottleneck of this laptop
tbh as a kid i used to play on 5-20 fps
hitting 30 fps+ would be something i couldnt reach on my old pc
by default mincecraft onlu utilizes 2gb of ram to change this go to your minecraft version installation setting you will find a weird looking text all you have to do is just change the number 2 to 4 then save, and you will get alot more fps
Question can u get more fps then your laptop supports
Bro this is a whole paragraph
what screen recorder do u use its so good even on 12 to 17 fps
if you dont need the cd drive. just remove it and add a ssd in thare. also remove the old hdd and put a fast ssd .if you have an data on the hdd just copy paste to ssd
Turn on vbos and turn of alternate block this will give a huge fps boost
