I've watched thousands of hours of utube clips re-bushcraft ... having seen a couple of yours I like your casual approach and not using stupidly expensive equipment ... your use of the Kelly Kettle is commendable once you bought it over year ago ... Nice to see it fully weathered and broken in ... Love the Kentuky Chicken keep it up ... 👍😎👍
Hi. Thanks very much for taking the team to leave such an awesome comment. So pleased you enjoyed my video and my approach. I think there’s something very satisfying about using such a simple (yet effective) cook system. Thanks again!
I am so glad I found your channel! Although I must confess that you woodland culinary skills far surpass anything I could do in a fully equipped kitchen!
That’s awesome. Thank you for checking out my videos. So glad you liked them. I haven’t had a chance to get out lately but hopefully it won’t see too long before I start making videos again. Don’t put yourself down! When you don’t have a tiny fire to keep at the optimum temperature it makes things so much easier. Although I do like the challenge 😂
Thanks Herb! I was pleasantly surprised how good it was considering how straightforward it is to cook. That was my first time cooking fried chicken but it definitely won’t be my last! Cheers. Neil
I've really been enjoying your videos! I recently bought a Kelly Kettle kit to change up my outdoor cooking hobby, so searching YT for Kelly Kettle cooking led me to your channel. I've always enjoyed cooking over small twig fires, so it just seemed like a good fit for me. You've definitely broadened my recipe list to try out! Thank you.
Thank you for watching! Great to hear you’ve found my videos useful, had bit of a break from it recently but hoping to get back into cooking and making videos soon.
Tortilla = tor·ti·ya. tor tee ya. the double LL in spanish has the Y sound in English. love the video's but so want to set you in the right direction on that one. also yes on popcorn.
Thanks Francis. Good to hear you like my videos! Did you also spot the incorrect pronunciation of gnocchi in my earlier video? My Italian is no better than my Spanish! 😬
@@parkitpitchitmoorit i did, but we have more spanish speakers than italian speakers in my part of the U.S. i have heard it as new-chee, or new-she, so not having studied Italian, i figured i wasn't the one to critique.

I had a English mission president, who spoke the high English, and his wife was a country girl who spoke the low-English. @@francistyson2864 have never been to Utah but it looks awesome, an outdoor lovers dream. Sounds like you’ve met some interesting people in your time! Cheers. Neil
That’s awesome. Thank you. So glad you’re enjoying them! I’m afraid I don’t have a link. Can’t remember exactly where I got it from but I’m pretty sure it was from the kitchen accessories aisle is Tesco.

Great idea! KFC in the bush, I like it 😋
Thanks! Worked a treat with that spice mix. Going to have to visit a bass pro shop again next time I’m in the US to restock.

Awesome treat for the woods, you make it look easy.... i would of spilt half the ingredients and dropped the chicken at least twice 🤣
Thanks. I’m just glad I didn’t catch the pan of oil on fire 🔥 😂
Wonderful!
Thank you! As this turned out better than expected, I now have chicken fried steak on my “to do” list, just need to get round to cooking & filming.
Have you got a link for that chopping board please? Loving the cooking videos 👍

@@parkitpitchitmoorit ok thanks, thought it might have been some bushcraft special item haha
@@anonymous4201 haha, no! Used to have a plastic one but it wasn’t very in keeping 😂
Nice video! What did you use as the fire starter?
I cheated this time! BBQ fire lighters 🔥
