That looks bloody amazing, thanks for sharing. Can I ask, where did you get the sausage? Kelly kettle looks like a good piece of kit also. More recipes please. 🤠
I’ve made it a few times since then! I now cook the dumplings with the lid on though as they seem to cook better that way. The sausage (chorizo) can be found in most supermarkets. If I remember correctly I got that one in Tesco. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy my other videos too. Cheers. Neil
Using a plate as a substitute for a frying pan is a brilliant idea! I’d love to give it a try right away.
Those Kelly Kettle plates are fantastic for that. Nice thick metal that doesn’t warp under the heat. Have fun!
Great setting mate
Thank you! I do like finding those hidden gems 😊
The simmer ring could also have helped!
You’re probably right! Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy my other videos too. Cheers. Neil
Fair play, a lot of effort gone into that 👌🏼
I love pushing the limits of the KK. In other videos on my channel I’ve used the kit to fry, bake and even smoke. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy my other videos too. Cheers. Neil
@ watched a few of them 👍🏼 I’ve only ever boiled water with my ghillie kettle 😄
That’s not pizza
It’s not Dominos if that’s what you mean. But then it’s no pizza oven! Tasted pretty good though. I also have a video cooking fried chicken, not KFC but again pretty tasty! Thanks for watching. Cheers. Neil
These are the best KK cooking videos around. Thanks so much! 🔥🔥
That’s very kind of you to say so. Thank you! Be sure to share them with anyone you think would like them too. Cheers. Neil.
Good video thanks
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy the cooking videos on my channel too. Cheers. Neil
Have you got a link for that chopping board please? Loving the cooking videos 👍
That’s awesome. Thank you. So glad you’re enjoying them! I’m afraid I don’t have a link. Can’t remember exactly where I got it from but I’m pretty sure it was from the kitchen accessories aisle is Tesco.
@@parkitpitchitmoorit ok thanks, thought it might have been some bushcraft special item haha
@@anonymous4201 haha, no! Used to have a plastic one but it wasn’t very in keeping 😂
Those Kelly kettle plates and cups look bombproof. I’m think of buying just the cups and plates but they’re so expensive!!!! How are these holding up for you now? Do you still use them and they in still half decent condition? Thanks
Both the cups and plates are fantastic quality. My cups have not seen too much use but the plates have been well used both as plates and as frying pans. They are holding out really well and are definitely worth the money! In one of my later videos which I put out there earlier this year I go through the kit and give it a long term review. Perhaps you’d find it useful to watch this one too. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Neil
@@parkitpitchitmoorit cheers Neil, will have a scan of your channel and take a look. The fact you’ve used the plates as frying pans shows they must be solid. How come you haven’t used the cups much? Too big? I’m looking to buy 4 cups and 4 plates for £60 😱
@@anonymous4201 the mugs are a good size. Two different sizes which are ideal as the smaller is better for tea or coffee and the larger one takes a whole can of Guinness. It’s a big outlay but they’ll last.
Fry dough on one side, FLIP over to exact other pan THEN toppings on top cooked side, finish cooking!
Thanks for the tip, that sounds like a great idea that I’ll have to try. The vast majority of my cooking on the Kelly Kettle is experimental so if you have any tips or tricks on my other videos I’d love to hear them. Thanks for watching! Cheers, Neil.
I also use a no12 Opinel ... fantastic for food prep, I even use it at home
Great knives aren’t they. Especially for the money. Built to last too - I’ve had mine for over 30 years now! Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoy the other cooking videos on my channel. Cheers. Neil.
I love it I hope I can cook it tomorrow
Thanks for watching. Hope it turned out well

Excellent vid, going to try the naan for my tea tonight
Thanks for watching. That’s cool. You’ll have to let me know how it goes or of you’d change anything. Enjoy 😋
Greetings dear friend, That looks really great. Amazing the things you make with the Kelly Kettle! Enjoy your wonderful meal 🥥🫓
Hey. Welcome back. I was pretty full after eating that. Was delicious though! 😋. I definitely be doing some sort of flat bread again on the KK. Easy and very tasty. Thanks for watching. Hope to see you again soon. Cheers. Neil
@parkitpitchitmoorit Always makes my day to see you out in your element, enjoying the things you love to do. Coconut milk really does make for a tasty bread. On Guam, they make flour tortillas with coconut milk and it has a sweet taste to it. It is very good. My Mom's family made this all the time as well as corn tortillas. Cheers to you Neil!
Large donner kebab with chilli sauce and chips for me please, thanks
Funny you should mention that. I have a wish list of what to cook next and I have a campfire doner on the list! Keep and eye out for a full length video, coming soon hopefully!
@@parkitpitchitmoorit Interesting, will keep my eyes peeled

Nice video! HEET, in the yellow bottle, is a very popular fuel for alcohol stoves. And they’re available at Walmart, in the auto parts section. Burns hot, and no soot.
That’s a fantastic tip, thank you. Looking online that looks like it’s made from similar stuff to the methylated spirt I’d use here. I’ll definitely try out Heet next time I’m in the States. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy the other videos on my channel too. Cheers, Neil.
What knife is that? Great video
Hi. Thanks for watching. My knife is a number 12 Opinel with a carbon blade. I had it over 30 years and it’s still going strong (they still make them too!). Thanks again. Hope you enjoy the other cooking videos on my channel. Cheers. Neil

That was a real treat for me finding that beach, found it by pure chance! Thanks for watching, glad you were inspired to get out with your Trangia. I don’t tend to use mine as often as I should. Having said that I did upload another video a couple of days ago where I cooked a curry on my mini Trangia. Have fun cooking up a tasty treat for yourself. Thanks again. Neil

Hello This area is so beautiful
Stunning isn’t it. Cornwall has so much to offer the outdoor enthusiast. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy the other videos on my channel too.
I was very excited by the thumbnail on this. As a Cornishman who resides in the St Austell Bay area I was very impressed with your geographical knowledge! Plus I'm a massive curry fan and have spent many hours in the Cornish wilds cooking up various dishes with my Trangia. I hope you enjoy your time in Cornwall. I wonder did you take your Kelly Kettle with you? Would you cook something like a curry on the kettle or do you favour the trangia?
My growing up years (10-19 years old) were in Ashton, Helston. Tregonning Hill was my playground! Cornwall is such a beautiful part of the country and I do miss it. Good question! I managed to hitch a ride down and was only down for a couple of days so packed light with the mini Trangia being my go to choice for size and weight. Given the choice though I’d pick the KK for the kits versatility, plus I like playing with fire 😂. I have a bigger Trangia kit too which I should use more, especially when lighting a fire is not possible. I do like a curry myself and will definitely do a curry video in the future using the KK. Thanks so much for watching and for commenting 👍🏻
@parkitpitchitmoorit I just bought the baby kelly kettle off Ebay I have the larger one but it's light as anything neil, I like them because they are fail safe and will burn anything 🔥 and you get a real feeling of achievement when you make a cup of tea and cook food with one, I also have a bcb crusader kit it's just as amazing I.m.o I had to source that bit there this bit there until I got the entire kit but yea it's awesome
