Absolutely brilliant! Very well played. Rick Beato sometimes analyses the top 10 of Spotify and struggles to say positive things about the tracks. This particular song is in a completely different league altogether, compared some of the junk that’s churned out these days.

I didn't use one. The original bass line does sound quite high while playing E and A on 12th fret and C on 15th fret with their octavs.

I guess this is coming from the fact, that some effects have been used which i didn't use for recording? I believe the tones themselves are correct

It needs that pedal that makes it sound like a synth
It's what's known as a compressor. They're rather cheap if you can get your hands on one. Fun to play too if you like retro and midi music.

Love to hear you do another great bass line from Guy Pratt which is his own version as the original was played on a Chapman stick by Tony levin. But the song is the live version off pink floyd one slip.
