There is no "Hesienberg persona", there aren't 2 personalities, he doesn't "switch". The series is 15 years old and people are still with that trope my god.
Hank's biggest flaw was his ego and he always wanted to look like the alpha male. He went after Walter on his own, all he did was what Walt pointed out, he destroyed the family, got himself and Steve killed.
@@MasonGrant0704 I genuinely can't believe there are people out there like you who jump at the chance to support a mass murdering, child poisoning meth cook. The mental gymnastics you have to do must be Olympic gold level.
@ynwajft9612 literally lol. Sure, Walt may truly believe himself to be past it and washed his hands of it all... but theres still people who are dead, and thousands of people hooked on meth thanks to him Dude's a waste
Tread lightly is not a threat but a warning. It suggests that the speaker believes they have some power or influence that should make others cautious. This scene is perfect
Dialogue in this universe is golden. The performance deserves all the applause for all the actors who were in this whole universe, both Breaking Bad, El Camino and Better Call Saul. The writing and care in every little detail is on a different level in this entire universe.
All I could think about when Hank told Walt off was that scene in season one Hank: “Thats why the hire Men….” Well Hank, you definitely made Walt a man. Not a good man, but someone with a lot more balls than you
Hank: WALT!!! YOU BEEN COOKING CRYSTAL METH TO PAY FOR YOUR CANCER TREATMENT!?!?! Walt: can you please drop this Hank? Hank: NO I cannot let this Slide If I did, I would violate my oath to the DEA!
Hank was a moron; he couldn't let it go because of his massive ego, Walter was going to die no matter what, all Hank accomplished was destroying the family, getting himself and Steve killed.
Oh yeah sure, because he’s dying means he should be let off for all the BS he pulled and all the things he manufactured. No. He needs to face punishment. Hank’s mistake was trying to do this solo and not bring this to the agency. Once this was about the family, it became conflict of interest. He should have brought this in and brought Pinkman in to expose it all.
AH yes let go ruining his life and the lives of everyone around him, the murders ,the manipulation and lies for over a year just because he claims to be out of the game and is dying. That doesn't absolve him from all the stuff he's done and the people he's hurt (directly or indirectly) which includes hank himself. Idk how people watch the show and see the bad stuff walt's done and them come to the conclusion that Hank only went after him because of his "Ego". No he went after him justifiably and its walts own fault Hank was pissed at him for that.
@@Justin-ui5ti Exactly. Idk how people can see the stuff walt did and think that hank should have "let it go" or not gone after him when it was pretty much impossible for him to drop at this point because of walts actions. But he at the very least should have called for back up in the desert imo. I can understand to an extent not wanting to tell the dea until he has evidence and a case but he probably should have called them once he was about to arrest him, he might have survived.
the subtle voice change back into his Heisenberg persona when he says “tread lightly” will always be one of my favorite moments in this show
I think the change in his voice and eyes starts at "thar is not going to happen"
didn't he win an award because of that scene or something?

Walt wasn't lying. At this point that's all he was, a dying man running a car wash.
He had already quit the business
Yes, at the moment he was telling the truth. But he also was obviously ignoring all the illegal things from his nearest past

You Walt
You, i will prosecute... You.

HankVincinble
The face Hank makes when saying "I don't know who I am talking to" is just depressing. This scene is just great.
I don’t think Walt WAS lying when he said that he was just a guy who runs a car wash. At that time, he was completely out of the meth business.
Ah thats ok then...all is forgiven walty
Walt uses white liesa lot during the show like when Jesse asked if Mike got out after he killed him he said “he’s gone.”

First time I saw this scene and when I heard walt say that my jaw was on the floor 😂

My favorite scene in the whole series
Props to the people who didn't yammer and trample over top of some great lines. Great great scene!
Do the "i did it for me" scene
With this season you can make at least two react mashups from every episode
