As Ra's & the League was always a major plot theme in the Trilogy. Second many have misconstrued the love Bane & Talia had for each other. No it was not some nasty sick ass chomo shit. They never looked at each other with romantic interest. It was more a love of survival, care, strength, bond, respect, admiration, loyalty, & honor. A form of sibling friendship. He saw the worst parts of hell & he wanted to protect her innocence from it. An as they both saved each other lives. They were both willing to die for one another. I'm only speaking for Nolans adaptation of the characters.
