These Jewish mom’s are lovely. No down-scoring here out of pettiness. The “criticism” was genuine and not malicious.
British Jews vs. American Jews. Americans would never be this polite.
Yea
@MsRose00 totally agree. Very nice to see them being sweet and genuine.
They need New York Jews next time 😂🤌🏾
Italian moms are not like that. They criticize harshly
This is one of those episodes where everyone was really respectful and honest! Would love to have another episode with these ladies.
No i want them to insult each other
The Jewish moms are always really nice and respectful. They had a broth soup before that they rated. I think Beth won that one as well.
Because they're British
Yesss, no need for backbiting
You beat me to it. I was going to comment the same thing. They were all so nice and fair. They weren't nitpicking each other.
Beth is the type of Jewish mom who even if her son doesn’t marry a Jewish girl, she’s going to teach her how to make all the traditional food her son loves. Her love of food and tradition is obvious, but her kindness is what’s noticeable first.
or she can teach her son to cook his own favourite food… why do you project the need to please onto the woman
@@nomad_cat1 I see what you are saying but it’s a sweet comment because Jewish moms of the older generation (like mine) can be less accepting of intermarriage, but Beth has such a warm and accepting disposition that the dynamic would be different.
If my man’s mom was kind enough to be willing to teach me some shit in the kitchen, I’ll sit there and learn. It’s bonding time with a woman from a culture that isn’t mine and has potential to educate me on things I don’t know about. Older, traditional people from different cultures typically don’t like intermarriage (like another comment said), but women like Beth are brimming with kindness and pride about their food that’s it’s clear it’s a major source of bonding in their families first and foremost.
And Not everything is some feminist hill to die on. Some women actually do like to cook for their partners (I know I do) because it’s a sign of affection, not because they “have to”!
@@aikasan5900 spot on
@@aikasan5900 my family is jewish but jewish cuisine varies a lot based on your diaspora community. My mom is Italian so we ate a lot of Italian food growing up. My sister in law is 100% Ashkenazi and so my mom, brother and I have taught her a lot of the family recipes so that she can one day pass them on to their kids. I learned Ashkenazi cooking from my grandma and Italian from my mom.
These mums are lovely! As one of the Italian mums, can we please have a mashup? Like, Jewish mums teaching us how to make their delicious food and we’ll do the same? 🤩🤩🤩
Yes! Love how sweet and generous you all are. A cross over would be great.
Yes as it happens the Italian and Jewish mums are my favorites so lovely would have a drink with any of them !
This is everything! Best idea
That would be great, you all are the nicest of the competition definitely.
It would be fun if some of the mums were Italian AND Jewish. 😊
I love how constructive this criticism is, no negativity or politics. These women get a 100/10 from me.
They are all so sweet about each other. They don’t purposely do a low score on the others just to make their own score higher
Another great episode, example to us all we should be nice to one another it's not difficult. Plus, I want to try the bread!
I've seen other Try's and their critic reviews are brutal.
@@paraplegicmom5318 I know just over the top.
This. This is how other moms should act. None of this negative and bitter attitude. Nothing but constructive criticism and positivity from these lovely Jewish mothers 👍🏻
I love the reviews where people are truly critiquing the food and not being rude or giving low scores just to win.
These women show the actual purpose of this whole thing positive feedback and not bringing each other down! Love them!
I love Beth’s little puns and jokes she so adorable 🥰
All the ladies are complimentary and not threatened by their competition. They also were fair. Lovely to watch. More of these please!
When I was a kid I went to this Jewish Museum and learned how to make Challah bread and it's always been my favorite. It's also the best bread for French Toast, that or Brioche bread.
true. i love challah french toast
This is why the Jewish community are so well off. There very supportive of each other Nd always looking for the positive. Something we need to do more
I mean, even though you’re attempting to give a compliment, “the Jewish community is well off,” is antisemetic propaganda.
@@lpkhoudari Completely agree.
@@lpkhoudari is anything NOT antisemitic these days. Get a grip
@@lpkhoudari I'm Jewish. I wouldn't call it antisemitic so much as just a bit tone deaf.
@@Rahila520d literally propaganda put forth by antisemites to invoke hate. It’s part of the “Jews have money and control the word” rhetoric that is used to negate any form of abuse and antisemitism.
Jewish moms are literally the only ones I've seen on here that don't bash each other.
I'm a baker, I make challah braids almost everyday and I can honestly say all 3 of these braids look incredible!! Good work everyone! Braiding bread isn't an easy task and challah is suuuper sticky
Watch America’s test kitchen clock method for braiding with four strands and starting the dough with a roux.
These ladies are so fair and polite in their judging. Truly class acts!
I love how these mums are polite and still respectful while stating their opinions
I miss the Italian mums. But I like the Jewish mums also really much ☺️
Aww that’s so sweet! I love these mums too! I suggested a mashup where they teach us how to make their food and we teach them how to make Italian food 😂
@@LetsCookItaliano How about Italian Jewish food? There's a rich tradition!
@@Johanna.EG. I’d love to learn about it!
my jewish italian mom: stonks
@@Johanna.EG. that would be amazing. Few non Jews know about anything that isn't Ashkenazi
I love these Jewish mothers. They have the kindest hearts 💕
I love these Jewish moms, they are the most respectful of any of these “moms try other mom’s…..” I’ve seen on both US & UK buzzfeed, and I’m gonna copy the putting flaky salt on top of the challah idea the next time I make challah! More of these nice moms, please! I’d love to see them try the US Jewish moms’ food and vice versa, but know that’s not really possible right now.
I love how they find the good out of each loaf instead of bashing it. Loved this 🥰
I love these 3 ladies. It’s good to see fair and honest judging.
Yes we need more of the Jewish mums, I love this 🥺 they’re all so respectful and the food 😍✨
We have a similar dish in Switzerland we call it pane treccia ( plat bread) and it looks exactly like theirs, it’s almost like a brioche, so soft and delicious, we have it for breakfast with unsalted butter, jam and hot ovomaltine chocolate 😍. I’d like to try challahs as well.
From the very beginning Beth's technique draw me in with the addition of salt on top to compliment to sweetness . I wish I could try some haha
Best part of making challah is the braiding. It's so satisfying, I love making 6-braided challah. Check out Jamie Gellers challah workshop.
Do something with Chinese or east Asian mum's.
Yessss
Yess, like chicken balls or sweet and sour chicken, chow mien etc. I am here for that suggestion!
@@kalishadee8925 most of those actually aren’t meals that Chinese moms make but it’s okay because a lot of people don’t know that
I wish the other videos I've watched were this fair in scoring each other's food. There's no "Mines better" or "What am I eating" I score this a "0". It was refreshing seeing them all being respectful ❤️ I want to see more of this ❤️
Well that worked out well for me, cuz I coincidentally bought Challah a couple hours ago at Trader Joe's, so I ate some while I watched this video and didn't get too jealous! But Beth's definitely looked better than the loaf I bought, cuz it wasn't actually very fresh.
How lovely are these mums ! I live near a Jewish area….might go pick me up some of that bread..looks yum.
They're just all so lovely and kind. I mean even their criticism is more helpful than rude.
WOW. Women uplifting women. High scores given.
So nice that they were all so nice and respectful about each other's breads. I enjoy these so much more than when people are rude about each other.
Jewish people are very nice. Lol respectful and honest opinions.
as a palestanian living with jews i LOOOOVE challah bread it’s so sweet and soft it’s as good as you’d imagine it to be!!
הלייק גם בשביל הדו קיום וגם בגלל שאהבתי את התמונת פרופיל שלך, ישר זהיתי את הדמות חחח
This was so refreshing to watch, everyone was nice and honest 🙂
i love how they were all so sweet and respectful to one another when rating each others food
a thick warmed up slice of Challah bread with a nice layer of peanut butter and chocolate spread on the top used to me my breakfast of choice on some weeks.
I didn't know I loved bread until I saw this omg, they look so good 😅😂❤
More of them please! So pleasant to watch. My faves until now. Also love the Italian and British mums.
Funny, loved the pun #challah wars
Plus Beth won, i called it, just by the look and presentation
Cheers to Beth's puns, lol, Beth is on a roll.
#Challah-fantastic
Those look so delicious, what a lovely episode
"A few times I've been around that track
So it's not just gonna happen like that
'Cause I ain't no Challahback Girl
I ain't no Challahback Girl..."
They were all very sweet and fair. I would eat all 3 of those breads.
They were so respectful and not rude. This was nice to watch.
i neeeeed to see the Jamaican men who did the jerk chicken again !!! bring them back😂😂😂!!
After each winner is revealed we need the recipe!!
I love the energy of this moms
More of these guys please. Constructive criticisms and no tactical low scoring.
As a fun aside - if you want to get paralytic, take a shot every time someone says “nice”.
I may watch this next time I’m preloading - sips though, because I’m a lady…
Great episode. I can’t when contestants spits out food or rate low just because they want to win. This here was a pleasure to watch.
these mums were really lovely ! usually you'd have at least one who's very picky or mean bc they wanna win but these women were all kind and honest 🥺
I love these series. Please, more episodes :)
I love these ladies!!!! I want to see more of them
It be so much more enjoying when everyone is respectful nice job ladies
I absolutely love this group of mums!
These mums are gems. Please bring them back
Love to see these moms scoring each other fairly and just enjoying the style differences!
Beth is hilarious. I love her reviews!!
I like them!!!! No low balling. Fair scores all around.
I did work in a Jewish Facility, I love this Challah Bread every Friday and Saturday these are all gone 🥰
The positivity is great. It's nice to see people give constructive criticism instead of trash talking.
So wholesome.
Love Beth! So glad she won.
I loved this video and I learned new stuff. Awesome.❤
I could tell by looking at them which one was best. It looked delicious. Also glad they are nice about their critiques.
Everyone was so polite & honest lol
As Always so interesting!
Love it thank you!
These moms and the Italian mums are so sweet🥺
I love making challah. It's so therapeutic to knead and braid it.
Been calling this Finsbury Park bread my whole life 😭 I had no clue it was even Jewish
Same lmaoooo it slaps!!!!
Love these ladies, and just in time for Chanukah!! If you haven't already, please do matzo ball soup, latkes, and sufganyot donuts!
They did the soup
Love making challah with my mum growing up
They are so sweet! I love it
I really like these moms because most videos they would talk badly just to try and get a higher point but this one is fair
I do this every Friday and love it
This was so nice because they were all super positive and scored fairly!
This was so lovely to watch! It says something about how women view other women in their own cultures. It says a lot about society and how women have potentially been made to feel about themselves and others.
Now if only we could know their recipes... Nicely done ladies!
I’d love it if you included the Winner’s recipe!
this is the most wholesome episode i've ever seen lol
I make challah maybe once a month because my family recipe uses so many eggs and it can take like 8-10 hours. I also use poppy seeds because that’s what my grandma used.
Beth, is just soooooo adorable! ♥️
Mama Beth is the personification of Warmth and Sunshine. Lovely ladies all of em🥰
okay but when will you drop that winning recipe it looks so good!
Love French toast challah bread style 😍😍
Best ever challah bread I've had is in East St Kilda in Melbourne. Known as the Jewish quarter. Mmhnmm so good
The Jewish Mums are literally the most respectful out of any food review I've seen on BuzzFeed.
Beth kept sending me with her puns 🤣
These mums and the Italian mums are my favourites
Lovely souls, wish I could try the food though!!
Love them all to be honest. Nice mums.
Beth is such a vibe. Like her.
Lovely ladies.
Greetings from Brazil.
Random: I liked the cute little applause track after the scoring 🤭
Dang….black folks would have been on here making faces like 🤭 “omg”…😖 “ what on earth is this”…😫 “ its dry as hell, i give it an A for effort, but i will give it a 2.5” …these women here actually lovely with the honest compliments 😂
Lovely!
I've never had challah bread but it looks delicious i want to try it now lol
They are nice, they actually eat the food and seem to enjoy it. That's nice
