Poor baby. She didn't mean to snap at you. She was just in pain. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do. You are so kind.
I agree with you! Thanks Beth.
100 % agree!
well just to be clear it was totally intended to bite him. It's just how it works. No hard feeling whatsover. She is in pain hence she snaps. No need to sugarcoat it.
She did mean to snap. 🙄 That’s her saying “Hey, ouch bro.” But controlled. Good dog.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen
Oh I hope there's a part 2 to this poor baby. Would love to see her better.
I know if the owners brought her back - you helped her!❤❤❤
“She won’t bite” continues to attempt to bite. But I get it doggy, you showed your appreciation after the doc got you on your way to feeling better!
Thanks for sharing CL
She walked better though......I'm thrilled you could help her You are so kind Doc.
Thank you so much Jean.
Poor pup. Sprains hurt. Glad she has you and a great dad willing to do what it takes to help his girl.
Yes Thanks D Littlejohn
You are so understanding, compassionate, and competent Dr. Doug!
Thank you for the compliment, so nice of you Anna.
Ohhhh, poor little darlin. You know the pain had to be horrible. I’m so glad you’re ok. I absolutely love your demeanor. When she did bite, your voice never changed in pitch;and you calmly continued her therapy. Thank you!❤❤❤
You are so welcome Linda.
Poor little guy that sweetie wasn't angry just the pain reaction
Yes I think so too.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen thanks Doc for helping these animals from the videos I can see the emotion in their eyes and their body language like the goat with the bent neck and the dog that was in the airplane crate and it's tail wagged only half way in the beginning and on the way out was wagging back and forth with a more normal walk
He drove up from Florida!!!
It’s a dog’s only way of saying “stop” in that moment. They don’t get to tap out. Which highlights the understanding of body language needed to work with animals. And she still comes back to be friends at the end.
Absolutely! Hope you had a good new year start Vaga.
You can just tell how beautiful this dog is.
I love seeing these videos. You have the best attitude. I just love it. It’s funny watching the dogs like you, then try to bite you, then give you kisses in appreciation!
Yes dogs are like that, we have another patient like that bite kiss bite Woody! Thanks for your great support Benji.
Bless her heart.. what a dog owner will do to help their furbabies ❤ good work Dr.W even if she did try to bite you. You are the man!
Yes I mean it was like a warning…
The owner is such a nice guy. Thanks for sharing.
Thank goodness Dr. Doug chose to spend his life healing those who can't speak.
Awww thank you, they can’t speak our language, but they communicate in their language, it is amazing.
When it hurts , it hurts and a dogs mouth is their first response weapon- not to harm but to warn ❤ even MAN when it hurts it bites , whines , is crabby , and has a sharp tongue ! ❤ give that kid a hug !🍪
Awww thank you James.☺️
You are king!!! She says thank you.
Wow and I say thanks to you Kay!
Im so happy that you're not only saving the animals which you are. While showing the world that they can be given their fur friends a better life. A life without constant pain. And showing kindness always. You're a beautiful Soul Doc.
The dog just wanted to see if Doc tasted like chicken. Poor critter was just scared of new environment and a new person she never met. Totally understandable why she snapped. As usual Doc, you Rock!
I think she bites because the tender spot hurt!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen That too!
She said doc "ouch that hurts" poor baby I hope she gets better 💖💖💖
I hope that too.
👍👍👍👍👍 I don't consider that "biting". Biting leaves marks that last for days or draws blood. This is what I consider "mouthing". Mouthing doesn't hurt nor does it leave marks. There is playful mouthing you see when they are playing and warning mouthing. What this girl did was a "Warning mouthing". Biting is an intent to hurt. She had no intent to hurt you. If she intended to hurt you, she would have. She was warning you by showing you "if she wants to hurt you she can so be careful in how you proceed Doc." Lovely girl, such a sweetheart but I completely understand most people would prefer just a scream/yelp from her instead. I hope everyone understands, this is not biting and give a hurt dog some better understanding. I often wish as a human I could do this without being considered 'mental'. Imagine how effective this would be if someone was harassing you?
Wow thank you Sheila for this explanation . Great👍🏼
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I don't fault the dog's reaction. But I do fault the owner for not corralling and controlling it. It wasn't fair to Dr. D to have to *keep* dodging teeth.
My pet peeve is owners who insist, "oh, they won't bite," despite the dog being in a completely new and alien environment with strangers. Adding in a potential for short term pain only adds to the likelihood of a out of character reaction from the dog.
I'm sorry to see the pup in so much pain. The improved alignment should help the strain to heal better now.
Having head and make your dental surgery, I can relate to her reaction to the pain. Sending love to the good doctor and all the patients he helps
Nice job! 👍🏻 She was in pain and she reacted in heavy stress, but you helped her anyway. That's bravery and being steady. My compliment! 👏
Wow amazing! Thank you Squit.
Such a pretty one. That first lick was like "please fix me I'm in terrible pain". She definitely got better at the end. Very well done Doc. Theres a special place in heaven for those who relieve pain of others, especially those who can't exclusively express it. Thank you for your amazing efforts.
Thanks Sachin, cute!
Awww poor baby. I know how she feels. Pain hurts. Her didn't mean to snap at you she just hurts really bad. But I PRAY YOU can make her start to feel better. God Bless You Sweet and Precious Baby. Love always to you Baby.
Awww so much love, thanks Judy.
She's just very tender & nervous! Dr Doug has a great repor 😜🦜🤪with the animals🐴🐶🐕🐕🦺🦮👀🤪🤯😜🐶🐕🦮🦮🦮💫⭐🌟💯💋
The owner should have held her securely the 1st time. She had a snap, but not a bite. The 2nd time, you let the doctor get bit! The 3rd time again! Come on na! you are stronger than a dog and he couldn't hold her. Kudos to you doc! I love everything about you and your videos!❤❤
I appreciate that he remained calm and at ease, he didn’t get upset or blame the dog or stop working with it or muzzle it. He’s a very gentle man and the dog just hated being in pain
That‘s right! Exactly! 👍🏼
Poor girl. You can tell she felt such remorse when she tried to bite him.
Of course she is going to react in the only way she knows how as a dog. But this is a good learning tool for people. The best behaved pet can react aggressively when pushed/when in pain. They are not to be punished. Told no, not ok, to set boundaries but not a real punishment. Any professional knows any dog is capable of this and will act accordingly.
Thanks for sharing Michelle.
She is trying to say sorry and sees if you’re okay is just adorable
❤
if dog biting and it should put muzzle guard to protect between you and dog
Maybe next time, we will see.
One thing I never trust: a dog owner that tells you their dog won’t bite.
Poor pupper. It's so hard when they sprain something l, they don't want to "elevate and rest". Hope it gets better with time you did great!
Thanks for sharing knittheniteaway.
Oh poor honey girl. You were so calm when she reacted ❤
She was sooo sorry😢💖💖💖
I can say really, I hope so!
🤣 She's a BuggyMama... a no nonsense doggy 🥰
I love that type. ♥️
Thanks for sharing PC USER.
I pray she's made a full recovery🙏🏻🙏🏻
She must have been in alot of pain and discomfort for to want to protect herself like that. 😔 hopefully she feels better now.
Me too!
Thank you dic for all u do. God bless you.
I love watching your videos. As usual, wonderful job.
Thanks Lorraine, glad you love them!
Thank you so much for everything you do for them. For Animals, Children, Adults. Humans and Animals in general. Namaste ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You‘re welcome
I hope she heals soon and feels better. ❤️😘🐕🐾
Awesome take care of your baby🥰
Aww thank you Di Cats.
She’s beautiful ❤
That was a love hate treatment. You will be forever friends.❤❤❤
God Bless you prayers for you and your family 🙏❤️
I love watching your videos. Hope your ok.
Thank you Terry for the blessings, glad you love the videos, I’m fine 👍🏼🙏🏻
"He/She won't bite."
The biggest lie a pet owner can ever say when their pet is in a strange place, they are nervous/scared, and a strange human is messing with them.
You can NOT guarantee how a living creature will respond in every situation, in an unfamiliar environment. You have to have the understanding that they may react defensively because they don't understand what's going on.
You are so great with animals! I wish you were closer, I’d have you out at least every 2-3 weeks 😊
I hold my dogs head when her chiropractor is working on her...Why aren't these owners doing that?
Each owner do like they feel they have to do. They know the best their animals.
To all the peoples talking about pup dad saying she wont bite and then she does... you have to understand something. Dr. Doug GOES WAY further with the presure than dad probably could handle... so to his experience the pup never actual bit down. You can tell she was in pain, and as always, Dr. Doug did everything perfectly. They way you never get angery with the animal is truly admirable, sir.
You are sooo good with animals, they may not like what you do when you’re doing it, but they love you after💙💜
"She wont bite" wow... She is in a lot of pain so she will.. Im glad you understand, and still try to help.. Poor baby. I wish i could get to you for my Minnie, but i have several others with no one to watch them😢
Poor doggy. I hope you made her feel much better after her treatment. She is a beautiful dog.
I thought you saw that one already! Thanks for watching Jana!
I don't remember seeing this dog before and since I didn't leave a comment I didn't think I had seen it before.🐕@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen
Oh okay! It can’t be …Jana missed one video 😂
Oh the horror of missing one of your videos! Forgive me this one time?🤣@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen
Of course Jana!
I cant stop watching this video for some reason
That‘s awesome! It pleases me! Nice Kyle.
I'm going to need people to stop saying my dog or said animal doesn't bite. If it has teeth it can bite. Animals faced with pain or stress can and often will bite.
Yes.
She realized he helped her feel better 😊❤
thank you to the end of time for your patience and care my friend! if only we could tell them its ok and they dont need to fear!
🙏🏻😊
Awwwww. She’s a beauty.
Dr Willen, Lychee tried to bite you cause you were working on her tender spot and it was hurting and she didn’t mean it. Glad she didn’t bit your hand, I’m telling you Dr Doug, you need to insure your talented and magic hands, you’re putting them at risk. I can’t wait to watch the full video, I’m sure it’ll be great 👍, I’m thinking the same that Lychee sprained her foot, that’s why she’s limping, it’ll take some time and she’ll be back to her old self. Thank you 🙏for your help, have a nice 👍weekend doc
Stay tuned Emma ☺️👍🏼
Hayvanlar için yaptıklarınız için çok teşekkür ederim ömrünüz uzun olsun
çok hoşsun Mehmet ☺️🙏🏻
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen 🙏🐕🙏
Pain hurts. She has no way to explain.
SPRAINS hurt more than breaks. - in childhood I severely sprained an ankle, it took YEARS to get where I didn't feel it or fall off My foot.
Rest, slow stretching/walking, liniment may help. ❤🐾
"Are we gonna be friends?"
"🐶🖕"
☺️🙏🏻
Awe she is not an angry dog.. she is just in pain.. poor baby
Thanks Yah ya for your compassion!
Beautiful dog. Looks so much like my pup that passed in 2021.
Nice job 👍 Mr Dr. Lots of love from India🇮🇳
Wow Thanks!! from India! so far!! Grateful for the support Nitish!
Famous last words “She won’t bite you “ 😂.
"she won't bite you"
...
*snaps 2 sec later* hahahahahaha
She's like bro... show me how to do that 😆
😀
Dr! You NEED to understand that the dog DIDNT MEAN to bite you! I don’t think you get it.
I got it 😀
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen all he meant to say was : Hey Mr Dr! I’m Just in a wittle bit of pain ! Ouchie!!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen you almost punched the dog. You NEED to understand he’s just a cute little puppy :)
I love this show.
Awww animals always know your there too help xo
Another Good job !!
Dr. Dougie are you married? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As good as or well behaved a dog can be, when they are in pain, they bite.
The puppy has significant pain and SOMEtimes it takes a little bit more before it can be on the mend.
Doc doesn't take it personally... he's a professional!!! 😁👍👏👏👏😎
😀👍🏼
Awe she felt immediately bad for biting
Aw she said sorry about that but what are you doin sir ❤
PERHAPS WE BOTH CAN SHARE THE DRIVE FROM FL FOR OUR DOGS TO GET ADJUSTED.😊❤
there you se how important it is to have a firm gripp on your dogs
nice job
Thanks again Gino!
My Effie dog had this
Horrible pain in her hip like your trying yo correct. Wish I haf known about you 17 yrs ago. She is in doggy heaven now.. bit all those yrs she suffered .. just ain't right.. maybe you could start a shool to teach other people your what the doggies need. ❤😇
So sorry for your dog Nancy!
We need to get you some fine mesh armor gloves!! I had a pair when working with knives. They work pretty darn good actually and fit snug! A Doctor has to do what a Doctor has to do and animals communicate the way they know how to prevent from hurting more.. 🦷
I‘m afraid I couldn’t feel throughout this gloves the spots…or let alone adjust. Thanks for sharing Ninja.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen ohh noo! true true, I didn’t think about that! The positive side to working so close with animals after all this time is, you may not be faster than a cat but you have developed lightning reflex skills close to that of our furry friends!
Very good 😢
As big as her master is would think that she wouldn't be able to snap at him. Jiminy Cricket's he obviously knows she does that he should have had something over her mouth. Especially if you know something hurts a dog and that's how they react. It's all about being responsible people
Thanks for watching the video.
Has neither of them heard of a muzzle? Even the friendliest and most even-tempered of dogs can bite when in pain...
Why can’t people just hold their dogs back
She was so fast and we were both surprised.
Give her a treat....
Why! Would the treat take the pain away!
That’s why you should always get your dog used to wearing a muzzle! ♥️
Lololol she almost gotcho ass 🤣🤣🤣
I almost bit my Physical Therapist when he pulled my hurt hip the wrong way. It's a visceral response to pain.
Okay! Thanks for sharing
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I thought you'd enjoy that ! Honestly, hip pain is the worst. I am so happy you put that pup right. THANK YOU 💜
I don't think anyone would judge you for muzzling dogs that are bitey like this.
Thanks for watching and sharing.
Any animal really
Owner fail.
Thanks for sharing.
Hey doc big question ? On dogs that have that sprained gate in their walk can us as humans put muscle rubs like ben gay or Icy hot or liniment oil on the effected area . I’ve used it on larger farm animals but I was just wondering after rewatching this short
Difficult to say, It depends on the issue and why do the dog have that sprained gate in their walk. I always have to see the dog and to feel to decide which treatment I can chose. Thanks James for watching the video.
My dog had the same thing and while I was trying to feel out where his pain was, I literally accidentally adjusted him and he yelped but was cured after that lol
Wow! Awesome! It seems you got the right spot! Thanks for sharing your story.
Did she "connect" with you? Are you alright? Pain and fear often are at the root of biting behaviors.
Poor thing!
🙏🏻
Why can’t people just hold their dog still for this man?
What's in the injector? Or is it a pressure instrument?
Whoops!
