- Big beautiful BEAR is in the office today! His owner has brought him in after noticing this big boy limping a little and was concerned. After we spend some time together, I was able to get some great adjustments in - sit back and enjoy!

The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a "Find a Doctor" tab/database: www.animalchiropractic.org
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

Bear did a great job! You can tell how well he's been socialized, even when he wasn't sure what was going on he was willing to roll with it. And Dr. Doug did a great job reading his behavior.
Thank you Samantha!
@@DamnDealDone is that not what happened orrr???
yah, what wa that about them being murder machines? His name should be Teddy Bear. He was such a good boy.
This is purely their own personality… each one regardless of breed will be different, regardless of how much you try to “correct” behaviors… some things will never change… and that’s not something you should judge others for… or give them credit for… give it to the animal not the humans. It’s their achievement not the humans. But sometimes the human needs to change their behaviors to get a change in the animal too. So sometimes it’s a mutual effort that multiple beings should be credited for. And acknowledge it directly and individually.
The way Bear stared into Dr Doug's eyes was so sweet and serious. That last adjustment was something else, he even barked it must have felt so much better after.
That‘s right Calgary! 😅
Totally!
Son be,@@ParisTNT
Where are you located?
It was a lumbark!😅
Bear was gazing into Dr. Doug’s soul…great adjustment and a great dog.
And great soul! Haha! Bear didn’t crack the animal cracker!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen You could see how greatfull he was after his cracks. Bear is an awesome dog!
I was afraid he was gonna get bit 😂
Then the kiss was just everything. 🤭
This little boy could bite your hand off, but he's the most adorable fella EVER! I smiled through the whole video because of his lighthearted and friendly attitude.
Pitties are the best dogs ever
Me too!
@@DayLateGamerWillnot a pitbull lol do your research
@@Farlayy why tf are you mentioning me random …
@@BrickHeadBulliesMI maybe something you wrote was ironic...
Looking directly into a dog’s eyes is a challenge move in dog body language. When doc turned his head is when doggie knew doc was friendly.
Bear is just loving all the attention he is getting, he is such a party dog :)
Full of energy! So awesome!
ikr
@@choppah5991 Hi choppah
That stare down got me, Doc. Bear needed a moment to connect and process your request. I swear it! What a great dog,. Thank you for working with him .❤
No kidding! 😂😂
That’s the way it is, he needed his few seconds. You’re very welcome Annie.
I especially liked the long gaze at the end.
Just be very, very careful with unfamiliar dogs. There's a plastic surgeon who posted a short on here about the number of human faces he repairs from trying to kiss unfamiliar/nervous dogs.
@@dadgarage7966 you're so correct about that
I love Dr Doug's aura and communication with ALL his patients. Bear definitely was "expressive" LMBO
Awww he certainly was one of the funniest strong dog I ever had in my office. Thanks Margrit!
I'm working on my animal intuitive skills and I think Bear WAS "thinking" 😂 lol I love what is happening with the animals here. I know when I work on animals energetically they remember and feel highly that you are capable. From my perspective it is like he is setting an energy field with the animals, and they know this! It's all about R.E.S.P.E.C.T. I see that highly here...This is awesome stuff. 😇 I would love to learn about this. Energy fields and chiro are very closely intertwined and this is interesting stuff.
Thank you for your work and detailed explanations.
He’s like,”Hey…what did you do?!” 😂
Lol, I said the same thing on the short! Lol
😅
But gosh, now it feels so much bettet!
😂😂
It’s so calming when you ask each animal if it’s all right to work and touch the animal. Thank you, they do need to give you their permission.
I respect animals and like to ask before I come into their space. Thanks Cait.
The owner and dog are so well matched. They're even the same skin tone ❤
That might be the widest smile I've ever seen on a dog. Just goofy and adorable. Those were some major cracks you did on Bear, Dr. Willen. When he barked at his hip adjustment I thought, "Oh, no!" But, he was such a sweetheart, he handled it all like a champ. His human has a good handle on Bear's personality. Well done!
Nice to read such a comment Amsterdamsel, it is fair nice and compassionate, thank you!
I bark the same way when I pop my own hip. I know that doggo's feels. 😂
The look on Bear's face and his body language said it all and you talking to him and asking if it was ok to work on him, the whole thing simply made my day!
Haha! 👍🏼
That intense look that bear gave you when you asked if he wanted to think about it for a minute had me laughing out loud! The ending was hysterical🤣😂😳
Yes, indeed, we had so much fun! Thanks Victoria for sharing
What a beautiful dog, and that silent stare he gives is hilarious
😅🙏🏻
This is the first time I have ever seen this breed up close. My brother raised Pit Bulls all his life so after reading about the background on the breed I can definitely see the similarities. Kudos to the owner for taking the time to train Bear so well. You can definitely tell he has manners and security awareness (Did you notice every time Dr. Doug moved his hands Bear watched closely?) Another home run Dr. Doug! I think Bear's amazing shaking after the adjustments says it all! ♥🐶👍
One more supportive comment Steven! I‘m so grateful to have you in this community, like to read what you have to say …always.
Dr. Doug
After that first adjustment, Bear was like “More, gimme more of that”😂 What a good boy! Impressive adjustment and reading the patient’s behavior as always. These videos are so heartwarming!
Bear seems like a well behave dog, his owner has put in the work & you can tell Bear trusts him. Great to see he is better & his owner full of smiles 😊
Oh my goodness!! He is just the sweetest!! Wanna think about that for a minute? 😂 his reaction was so sweet! Lol and idk if you noticed but when you picked up the skeleton and demonstrated the snapping motion, Bear was like,”Oh no you’re not!!” motion 😂
😂😂😂😂. I think he felt better Fr it right away
Hahaha! Yeah! Totally!👍🏼
I noticed that too.
I had a bully when I was younger. I can confirm they are the nicest dogs ever.
I like how he talks to the pets! That's freakin awesome!
Thanks Jay! Just try to give them respect and space!
Absolutely beautiful dog, and amazingly well-behaved. I can tell he just loves everyone he meets. Such a sweetie-pie. Dr. Doug really made him feel better. 😊
He is such a great owner. It's wonderful to see people care for their animals so much 🥺 Thank you Doctor Doug for helping Bear! Sending y'all love and light, my friends 💕✨
I totally agree with you! 👍🏼🙏🏻
What a sweetheart of a dog. Bear is a very expressive dog. A prime example of his breed. Phenominal job Doc. ❤
Wow amazing! Thank you so much Zinn!
Bullies are truly amazing dogs, Dr. Doug. They are imposing figures with enormous heart. I have been privileged to care for two in my life, and they taught me so much about optimism and love. Unfortunately, they will overdo and live with pain. I knew you had found his pain when he went silent suddenly. Bear will be so much better off for seeing you. Thank you for your compassionate way that people and animals can feel. 💜🇺🇸
Wow awesome! Amazing! Thanks for sharing Diane.
Look how happy he is with his mouth open and tongue out. ❤ Pitties are so sweet. I really miss mine.
That stare down reminds me of a scene in a spaghetti western. Close up on Doctor's eyes. Cut to close up on Bear's eyes, etc. Spanish guitar playing as they prepare to draw.
You‘re so funny Scott thanks for sharing here too!
I love how Bear was "That felt weird. Give me some pets now!" lol
8:14
Bear is like, "Which one of you did it?!"
😂❤
😀
It concerns me when the Doc stares into the dogs’ eyes (at close range!) it can be taken as a threat especially when it’s a stranger. Please be safe, Doc! The world needs you!
Made me nervous too😮
No worries MelaD! I‘m ok. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah right? Hes so brave and calm and knows dogs body language. Nerves of steel and a heart of gold! ❤😊 Amazing really. And yah, be careful all up in their face. That book though. "How to massage a dog."
That was a huge red flag for me. It could have gone the other way. I don't suggest anyone ever do that to a dog they just met, and I'd never let someone do that to any of my dogs.
@@joannaashford7895 Well. Hes doing a service.
At their own risk.
That was the happiest dog reaction to an adjustment I have ever seen! And the way the dog would look at you as you asked him question, like he was actually thinking about what you were saying.
This was a great video.
Thank you so much for the cool words! Nice🙏🏻
He's such an awesome big boy, and I swear his face turned up into a genuine smile after you adjusted him!
I guess I was laughing so hard last night I forgot to comment! Bear is such a character! That one on one stare into the eyes was just hilarious! What a sweetheart Bear is! I hope we get to see him and his Dad again!
Hahaha! That the best comment today! How do you manage that Jana, you’re the sparkle of this community…so authentic ! I love that. Stay tuned for more.
Dr Doug is a amazing.. I love bullies but don’t like breeders and think people need to adopt from shelters.. ❤
Thanks for sharing ! 👍🏼
Certified breeders are nothing like backyard breeders, and can bebetter than adopting from a shelter. They will match you with the dogs temperament in a home environment, which shelters cannot do. Shelter dogs aren't purebred so you can't be certain of medical concern or temperament specifics like you can with a purebred either. Please don't blindly hate all breeders, just backyard breeders.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen shoulda first adjusted the man so the dog understands that its therapy. When you start with a dog he doesn't know what's going on. If he sees a human get relief, he will be calmer.
You can tell that big boy got some relief there by how the Doc still had a neck and face when it was over.
😬 👏👏👏
What a smart, sweet, sensitive dog. He clearly appreciated the treatment and understood what was going on. I loved how intently he paid attention. Thanks for the video. I love watching Dr. Doug work. I'm sure adjusting Bear's person at the end was instructive to the dog.
That is one happy and active dog, his reactions are also funny because it's like he's constantly on play time.
The first time to saw a chiro doctor did adjustments for animals. But I really enjoyed watching this video. Bear is such a smart dog and he looks like he knows that somebody is trying to help him. Doc you are very gentle. The best part is when you and Bear are talking at the end of this video and both of you look at the camera😂..
Bear’s energy level was adorable!!!!
He is so full of energy, I love that!
It’s amazing to see Bear’s demeanor change as he starts to feel better.
Yes, that’s right.
Bear is truly the best dog model for your "How to massage your dog" seminar, with his muscular body and his mellow personality! He really enjoyed himself during this session... At some moments we thought he was going to strike, but all he really wanted was to express was his enthusiasm 😅😁🐶 I can picture Bear singing to you the song "You've got a friend in me" in the language of his people next time he comes to see you, Dr! 😁
You and Bear had such a moment staring into each others eyes. Awwww. Great job as usual Dr Doug! ❤
I think Bear's going to become a regular with you, Dr. Doug - you've obviously got a great rapport together!
This time it is not a Love story like with Ruby, it’s gonna be a big bear buddy story! 😀 thanks Floating!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Ruby 😭♥️😥 Miss that baby
I hope we can see him again ,he's such a handsome and well behaved doggo❤
Dr. Doug. there’s so much to love about Bear because he’s such is a BIG, beautiful boy❣️ I loved the way his dad cuddled and kissed him for reassurance during the session - real men aren’t afraid to show their real feelings♥️ I’m glad you were able to help him and it would be wonderful to see him again if he has any follow up appointments.
What a big beautiful guy! Sooo many muscles, but great releases! He was probably tender the next day, but I'm sure he feels way better now. Big happy Bear! ❤
Yup! Big happy bear! 😀
I think Bear blinked first... 😂 What a wonderful, happy dog! Thank you Dr. Doug for successful adjustments on this big dog. Thank you to the owner for bringing him in - can't wait for follow ups ❣️
Looks like the owner got the bigger kick out of this!! So precious!!
😂😁
OMG…Bear is so awesome. I love his reactions and facial expressions. He’s like “what’s going on here”?!? 😂 he had that one bark near the end but I’m sure it’s a lot to process for them too. Happy Sunday. It was a nice surprise to start the day. 👍🏽
Glad you liked this one! He’s just sooo cute, was real fun with both of them! Happy Sunday Jeff and Calvin.
We don't see Doc sweat too much but he definitely had to check his energy a few times there. Great video. Love pitties. Such sweet dogs when raised by responsible, smart humans.
The way bear quietly kept your gaze at the end really shows how much he appreciated what you did for him
Thanks Cathy for connecting and watching this one!
Awe I just love him, saw the short awhile back and happy to see the full now! He's so expressive but also cooperative.
He definitely is! Thanks for watching both Robin.
Love Bear's reaction when Doug does that first correction on his neck. Makes me laugh every time I watch it.
When dogs present their rumps to you, it’s a sign of trust and friendship. It’s they’re way of saying I trust you’ve got my back
Thank you for your thoughts! Appreciate that!
Omg, the way Bear "yelped" in the end had me crying laughing and so happy for him. What a cutie pie, such a good boy!!
Thanks Euro
Aww he was paying attention to his bone demonstration! So dear! He seemed to love it and let him adjust him because he knew it was for the good! xx
Awww thanks I appreciate that!
Bear is such a character, his eyes when he was having treatment were so surprised. All of Dr Doug's treatment sessions are awesome but this one, with Bear and his owner also receiving treatment, was epic. Bear is such a sweety and such a special moment when he and the Dr stared into each other's eyes and ended with kisses from Bear. Bravo ❤❤😂😂
Dude is a great pet owner. Pays attention to everything. Didn’t wait to take him in. Great job guys.
What a sweet boy.
Bear you cracked me up with your facial expressions. Great job Dr D. Another happy dog. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
God bless you and your family.
Awww🙏🏻 thank you Peggy for the blessing hope you‘ll have a nice Sunday!
G'day Bear 🙂 Your a very powerful boy and I see Douglas was very careful with you and that's a smart move 😆 Well done Douglas.
Haha! You got it Mark! You never know! A big bully named bear is quite a thing! Thanks for connecting!
It seemed like Bear knew exactly what’s going on. The way he looks at the spine model he was comprehending he was undergoing healing adjustment. He was very excited when the doctor was getting to the part that hurt. Smart dog.
LOL... what a good boy that Bear is. His initial reflexive reaction was lightning quick and immediately charged up when he felt the nick of pain each time... but his body and nervous system was telling his brain "Hey, that's MORE GOODER!" and then it was "Ok, stand down, don't attack." So expressive with his eyes, and great at that alpha stare too.
Dr Willen, that stare that you gave each other at the end, then looked straight then back at each other killed it, he even stopped panting 👍. Bear reminds me a lot of Ruby, he had more energy and strength than her but the love he gave you ❤️it was like Ruby was there in spirit all over again, she’s irreplaceable. To me this was made on purpose for you to meet, to remind us that Ruby is ok👌. Also, in the beginning when you asked him if it would be all right to work on him, that stare and kisses was so priceless. Dr Doug, even though Bear made you move a lot to adjust him, you made an awesome 👏job on him, I heard all of those cracks, even the tail. I knew you wouldn’t let the owner go without getting a taste of his own being adjusted, you’re always so generous, nice and kind 🙏. Have a nice Sunday doc, btw Bear is the most shook head dog that you’ve had on your channel.
Ruby was my big love! Bear is my big buddy! Thank you Emma, was fun with nothing them! Bear dad is a good dad!
What a great patient Bear turned out to be!!!!!
I love this dog,Bear. I bet he’s a great cuddled. I glad you were able to adjust him, Doug.
The stare down/gaze between you and the dog...that was dope.
What a moose! When you said “like a horse” I believe you. Love this new format! I’m sure it takes a little longer to produce, but well worth the time. You have a video for dogs and massage - we need one for cats too! Thank you for the share! This is a good one!
🐾♥️🐾
Thank you Linda, how to massage your cat, it’s a plan! We‘ll see. Bear is so cute and had so many great reactions! Priceless! Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous Bear. You can tell how much better he feels . Love his reaction. 🌎
👍🏼
I like the explanations Doug gives.
Big day for Bear! Such a good boy! That first reaction adjustment was priceless! If you’ve ever had your neck adjusted you know exactly what’s up! I think it’s the crunch sound that surprises dogs more than the actual adjustment! It has me wanting my neck adjusted!
I think so too!
Bear is cool!! ❤ He feels better, too! I loved how at the end you guys were staring at each other an then, both looked away at the same time!!! Priceless 😂
Haha! awesome! Thanks Elaine.
Kudos to the owner for socializing this guy. In the wrong hands, he’d be TROUBLE. But he looks to be a sweetheart!
👍🏼🙏🏻
That's with all dogs, why the American Bully specifically?
I love how he spoke directly to the patient Bear ❤
What a sweetheart Bear is ❤ Doc, I hope your head is all right.
What a great doggy. Happy to see you fixed him. Enjoyed every minute of 'feeling' those releases with him. Great work doc.
Thanks Monika.
This may be one of the best dog / animal videos I have ever seen. Obviously knowledge and professionalism on Doug's part. But Bear, oh my God. The trust the love the communication, everything absolutely awesome. The best.
Absolutely love it! The work you are doing is wonderful and amazing! See the adjustment completed on Bear AND the owner was unexpected to say the least. Seeing how in tune you are with the Bear is heartwarming. Big Bear pulls on my heartstrings especially because I had a big guy that looked almost identical to him (had white tips on his feet), but he is no longer with us. Seeing Big Bear's smile and your interactions with him is magical and brought back wonderful memories. Thank you for what you are doing!
I really enjoyed watching this grown boy. I heard all the cracks! I wish I could see you! 🙂🌺🌻💜
Off you go to NYC! Glad you enjoyed it Audrey!
Amazing!!! Incredible!!!
Dr. Doug, you are a rare gift in this world! An authentic treasure and healer!
Amazing Jeanne! Thank you.
Bear was occasionally nervous and unsure but his reactions afterwards showed he was feeling better.
Yes! Think so too!
I love the explanation on keeping the nails trimmed. A correctly shaped foot helps keep them worn down as well.
All three of them seem so friendly and loving. But why does this fine dog have to wear such a spiky collar and why are his ears cropped? Here in Germany it's not allowed anymore.
🤷🏼 thanks for watching this one Nathalie.
The collars are not pointed on the ends. What they do is simulate the mother dogs teeth when she picks up a puppy by the scruff of the neck.
Ear cropping can be used to prevent injuries or infections, which these dogs often struggle with.
Thank you so much hooman lol😂! His little smile is sooooo contagious!❤
Awww🙏🏻😊
The communication between Bear and Doc W was awesome! Staring deep into each others eyes ❤❤
👍🏼🙏🏻☺️
*This was amazing to watch* Bear is so freakin handsome. I’d show him off everywhere all the time. Look at that smile! ❤️
What a lovely marshmallow of a boy dog. And such a good boy.
👍🏼 💯
Bears owner needs to get him a new collar. Those collars are cruel. Not recommended by dog experts. Let the owner wear it and see how he likes it.
Bear is a joy to watch his happiness after adjustments, He will definitely want to return for more, Doc your hands needed a nap after working with such a strong dog 🐕
Bear's reaction to you is hilarious, Doc! He is just so funny! I've watched this video at least 4 times, just so I can laugh myself silly! Thanks so much for sharing this handsome boy with us!! Blessings to all!!
Aww thank you vickie
Amazing. Loved seeing Bear and his Dad get adjusted.
Thanks Patricia!
What a sweet dog
Gorgeous one!
Bear is one of the reasons I have a soft spot for American bully's. I had a female, that I got at 8 weeks old, in the middle of a cold, snowy winter around 12 years ago & I had her house broken by 11 weeks. She was so smart, happy & huge
Watching you work with the bully was amazing. I have a large pit bull. They have the most personalities of all the dogs I have ever had. You could tell that he felt so much better after each spot was treated! I was jealous myself!
I love your work
So glad you love my work and watch my videos Alisha!
Nice video
Thanks Kalidou! I appreciate that.
The way he kept looking at Dr Willen after the last adjustment, he way definitely saying thank you to him!
Bear is a blast! I love how every crack, pop and poke, made him wiggle and want to play😅. Sweet fella❤
Definitely a sweet fellow! Thanks Cookie.
Beautiful dog but why has he got a bared collar on that looks like it is digging into his neck?
🤷🏼 thanks for sharing sues.
Please do not stare into a dog's eyes as some breeds see that as a challenge. Also do not make fearfully fast movements like you did on the first two pop's. Other than that great job.
I think he was checking the level of aggression before doing any manipulation.
What a beautiful dog. Gorgeous looking bully with an an amazing temperament ❤
Bear wasn't to sure about the last adjustment. He is such a big sweetheart.
He definitely is!
That collar looks painful. 😢
Thanks for watching this one Beachy
