Noooo. My mom is 5'2, 115lbs and I have 5 brothers. She HAD to check all of them early on or else theyd run the house. Even though they easily could overpower her/us theres an invisible boundary that none of them cross because my mom set the standard early on. The family dynamic begins with the parents and how they treat each child. Here you have a daughter who adores her mother, but the mother ends up not helping her and supporting the son. Then you have a son who feels emboldened enough to try and fight against the mother but ends up killing his sister. The daughter goes against the brother to help the mother. There was a lot of provoking in this family dynamic, and parents have a way of pitting kids against each other. The strategy finally played out in violence leading to death.

There are mother's who have jealousy towards their own daughters. Her daughter most likely was the level headed person in the family. In which her mom secretly hated.
