Thank you for covering this. My brother was my best friend and helped me raise my son. His funeral was standing room only and receiving all of the beautiful stories of how he helped people and inspired them to be better, really touches my soul- but the shooter has stolen so much of our joy.
So sad it happened on my street. It was such a horrible thing. My heart goes out to the families.
I'm not shocked by anything anymore but I am saddened that this keeps happening and getting worse and worse. My heart just prays ❤️

This happened in my hometown and this situation was so sad. Really quiet neighborhood it just shows us people can get crazy wherever you go. You just have to stay safe Aand protect yourself at all times

They had definitely already made a difference. My brother’s inmates over the full span of his career at different prisons have reached out saying how much they love and respect him, and how he help turn their lives around.
Ellesha had such a bright spirit as well. They were so brilliant.

That video clip of them debating about melanin and the sun was very telling.
Some key points:
She said some very triggering words that I’m surprised she would say as a therapist AND a DV survivor.
on top of that they were uttered ON CAMERA.
If you observe closely during those moments you can see his demeanor change, a red flag that he was dangerous.
Then the clip of him mocking her spoken word with a poem about harming a person was ANOTHER RED FLAG.
WHO DOES THAT???
I would imagine that was a source of contention for her afterwards even tho she laughed and giggled during the recording of it.
There is more to this story that those close to her know as to why he did this.
It doesn’t take a scientist to figure that out. He BEEN a ticking time bomb and she finally started to realize it and tried to disengage.

So many angry young men with weapons all over the country and no one has a solution for preventing such horror... You're not even surprised about what's going in the suburbs anymore, when you here mass shootings or multiple family members killed. Only thing we can say is RIP to their souls.
