    I remember the first lock I zipped, I thought, it can't be this easy.. On many locks, it is that easy. Great video. Keep them coming. 👍👏

    Sat here with the masterlock 140 watching this in the background trying single pick. Then my attention changed when you said zip that thing. Well pting! and it was open, after several pting, too easy. Thanks. Now I'll go back to practicing single picking.

      mchughcb another fun thing to do with them is using a "comb pick" to bypass the Lock

    That locks are this easy to open is only a little bit scary for me. Thanks for video, I found this video on reddit.

      @HelpfulLockPicker  7 років тому +2

      Dale Hanks surprisingly most locks you can purchase from places like Home Depot can be picked by beginners quite easily. But rest assured security is only as strong as its weakest link and statistically speaking most thieves will break a window or kick in the door before ever attempting to pick a lock.

    Great video as usual, man.
    Do you apply the same tension than when you do single pin picking? I guess it has to be lighter tension when spools are involved, has it?
    Thanks.

    • @HelpfulLockPicker
      @HelpfulLockPicker  3 роки тому +6

      It depends. No security pins is more a static tension and security pins you need to alter

  • @desertrainfrog1691

    This reminds me of raking
    Kind of an aggressive motion that forces the pins up quickly to open. Kinda more luck based?

    • @HelpfulLockPicker
      @HelpfulLockPicker  5 років тому +4

      I would say any of the non skilled attacks have a large degree of luck but there is certainly a good amount of technique involved.

    I didnt realise zipping is like bumping but with a pick

    • @HelpfulLockPicker
      @HelpfulLockPicker  2 роки тому

      It is also sort in the reverse direction too. Bumping the key inserts into the lock and zipping is pulling the pick out of the lock. Open is open
