Making your own Spider Weights

Here are a couple of different methods for making spider weights using materials around the house and some more unique methods. Spider weights are great for holding down those really intricate areas of a stencil to get a nice sharp edge.

Good Idea for working on a flat table. For me not usable, cause working on a Easel made of a steelplate. So i prefer using magnets. but sometimes the smallest magnets i have are to small. So now i´m thinking of combine both. Spiderlegs on a magnet i can put on biggerplaces on the stencil and fix smaller parts with the legs. Maybe this will work.

Interesting, I don't often work on an easel but that's a great idea. Dropping a magnet in the mold before pouring the lead could work really well actually, will have to try it next time.
