Super cool! I love that our favorite Sierra people are still willing to hang out with the community, and chat with us about these experiences.
The main theme of Gabriel Knight, If you let me listen to it, and I had never heard of GK before, I'd still guess that it's a song about a Van Helsing'esque Witch Hunter. It's somehow just in the music.
It's also hilarious that he said when he finished the main theme, he thought everyone would just be thrilled and wowed by it, but they were all just kinda like "yeah sure", because I had the same experiences growing up learning digital art. I felt like I'd made this masterpiece, but of course nobody cares! LOL I was the only one who really appreciated it. - In the GK main themes case though, it actually IS a masterpiece. I used to load up the game, and just sit in the menu, just to listen to the song.
The only thing I wish Robert had maybe elaborated more on, was how he came up with the Wolfgang Ritter / Heart of the Schattenjager track. I know I'm not alone in this one being a major standout in the game. That track is so badass, you could lift weights to it! (Ask me how I know)
