This worked. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I received a forced update to the new Outlook and wanted to revert to the old Windows Mail & Calendar application in W10. With enough patience and diligence, I was able to follow your steps and download the last update to the Windows Communications App. A life-saver!

P.S: If you guys are struggling restricted access error on user's PC you can run these on your Admin PC and just copy paste all the packages to user's computers and run'em manually you don't need to run all those commands to replicate installation :) Thanks a bunch again.

I lost so much data including my mail app and microsoft store when I changed some paths between disks a bit too chaotically. I had tried everything from shady dowloads to trying to contact the microsoft support team, to no avail. So I just decided to look over some codes and study the powershell a bit and there I was! Finding you and the treasure trove that your site and your channel are.

I swear i NEVER comment on videos but THIS? THIS has saved me from so many hours trying to figure out why the Xbox app was not downloading and kept getting an error code!!! I tried NUMEROUS amount of different ways to try and fix it and nothing worked. 5th hour in i was going to give up then remembered that you can force download apps via command prompts! Came across your video, did everything step by step and BOOM! Finally have the app installed after 5 long pain staking hours!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS MY GUY!!!
I’m having problems with my xbox app and have tried this method but when I download the file using the adguard command prompt I just get black screened with the xbox logo. Which app file did you force download? Is it the 305mb file you force download?

When I am about to download a game "Microsoft apps store" has *"rtc=1" at the end of its website, something "Microsoft store" doesn't have
I needed this because both 3d viewer and 3d builder are amazing applications yet the store was giving me errors when trying to get them.

OMG this video was a life saver. Even though Im running the Microsoft Store (it doesn't work but I stil have stuff that I don't want to get rid of that still works for some reason) but I got rid of the XBox app and wanted it back but couldn't download it from the Store app at all.
Thank you for this. My mail app would not update than it was deleted and than it would not download. This fixed it perfectly.

It's insne how poorly some sites/services are. For instance, the Realtek Audio Console or HD AUdio Manager should be downloaded from the store as they suggest. Now, search for it manually in their store, you get to knockoff apps with 1 review and a price of 5 dollar. I'm sure a grandmother would think: "Well okay, Mr. Microsoft. After spending 4500 dollar on my basic laptop like the vendor told me, the extra 5 bucks is fine. I'm in when I need to, i want to hear my grandchildren!"

Have you added your own 'll'' alias somewhere? (or has MS added one?) iirc 'ls' is an alias of Get-ChildItem in powershell, but they haven't ported the typical ls bash aliases.

Also, seems theres more errors that we can get varying from the device that file was meant to be installed on, i had to test the appx´s to find out wich one was for like, xbox and other MS devices before finding the PC version. wonder if theres anything we can do to know this beforehand.
I did the NTLite for win10 image, then did the winget part, was able to launch CTT debloat tool, but I noticed NTLite stripped out snipping tool, and I don't know how to get the old snipping tool back. I tried the same way as u did Spotify, but it didn't work.

does it overwrite existing previous versions of the same app? I.e. if you were to download an old spotify version first and then choose the one in the video would it delete or overwrite the existing version?
Should i assume the 'spot' is short for spotify? Where did you get that from? How would i install a different app, what would have to change?

if you aren’t used to using the command line, you can also double-click the .appx (or .msix, etc) file you downloaded for a GUI, user friendly, installer.

These are the same app stores when the Surface RT was able to run Windows 10. They worked but limited on the RT

So useful, although, one thing to keep in mind, I disabled the Windows Firewall among other things when I tweaked my system and this won't work with it disabled.

I need to get Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management installed on Windows Server Core 2022 and want to try this to see if this will work for me. However, I am getting a "WARNING! An error occurred during installation! Error: The specified module could not be found." error when I run the winget-install.ps1. I only just found your page so maybe there is a prerequisite step I am missing. Nuget was installed. I ran the first two commands but I am stuck at this ps1 3rd step. When I was troubleshooting I found info on a Windows Package Manager Insiders program. Not certain if that is required. Any ideas of what step I missed?

Hello, thank you for the video. Could you explain how to manage the Microsoft Store within an Enterprise environment with Endpoint/intune. For example, prevent the user from downloading apps that are not approved from the Microsoft Store. For example, I dont want staff members the ability to install Netflix or games from the Microsoft Store. What would be best practice, would you completely block Microsoft Store? How would this impact apps that depend on updates from the Microsoft store?
I was looking for silent winget installation for my script. My script does desktop customization, installs standart programs, uninstalls useless apps etc. after fresh windows installation. My biggest problem was installing winget silently with script. I hope this will be usefull for me. Thank you.

Did this for elan touchpad app everything went through fine and the app doesn't show up even after restarting.

FYI, you don’t HAVE to use the command line. Windows 10 and Windows 11 allow you to double click the file to launch a GUI installer for the store apps.
@@NazmusLabs This is true if the person has appx app installer, for some ntlite users that removed windows components, they may or may not have it so they will have to use the command line to install.
I don't miss the Microsoft Store or Windows Chris. I'm a Linux guy now and have been for the last 10 years.

I got pissed off with the blue screen of death, losing all my work and then spending hours re-installing windows, getting what I could back and having to do all the work I had already done and lost. Since moving over to Linux I've had no such problems and even Mrs Martin uses Linux for the very same reasons Jason.

Titus, could you do a video on uninstalling redundant MS SQL, DotNet and C++ frameworks/library's. Because after doing your debloat and process cleanup, legacy software is still active.
