QOTW: a jealous dog/new baby/dangerous behavior, our suggestions for introducing a baby to the dog.

This is one of the most important questions we've tackled on the show! So many folks struggle with how to properly introduce a new baby to a home with a dog in it. There are all sorts of recommendations about bringing blankets for the dog to smell, giving treats when the dog sees/hears the baby, attempting to create "friends" by allowing the dog to sniff/get close to the baby and on and on. We've seen plenty of client videos demoing this stuff with incredibly poor results, and the stories of babies being bitten or mauled are far too common. In fact, the best way to introduce the baby to the dog isn't to introduce them at all. Not at least in the conventional, accepted fashion.
