A friend took advantage of the support and put a side marker light to fill it and wired from the side marker you removed. Thin rectangular led ones. Looks great and you don't risk loosing that support.
Fantastic installation video! I am currently looking at Deegan 38 fenders and I also watched a few videos to see how they look on an actual car (do yourself a favor and look up an actual video rather than a picture, because it does look different when you see it in a 3D view) As far as rivnut tool, spend a little more and get a pro version with different size dies in order to accomodate different size rivets, as a bonus they include a few bags of sample ones) My man, where did you get these monochrome sponsor decals on a side of your Jeep, I love the clean look as I hate putting multicolored stickers on mine… Thanks!
Excellent points to think about on fenders. Thank you for this! I am still shopping around. Not sure if I want narrow fenders, or if I just want deletes.
I like your videos but if I can add something. I think you should do a montage vids or pics of the results at the end. That way you’ve taken in all your commentary and can really notice everything and the details.
That's usually what I do in all my vids...tons of B roll...but this was the one video where my gimbal crapped out on me so I tried to film handheld and the footage was too shaky to be useable. Tbh too I wasn't REALLY that convinced yet I like these fenders so I wasn't moved to try doing more shots lol
I got the same ones and they are very durable and, not a lot of weight and gives more articulation. Only con is that I hate putting them on. Especially the rear, super dumb.
Is it really worth buying a jeep wrangler??? I’m actually choosing between the toyota 4runner or jeep wrangler bcoz ever since i was a teenager i’ve always wanted to get a wrangler. But upon doing some research i found out that wrangler has alot of problems and some recalls, also my main concern is the lack of airbags specially in the rear passenger where my kids usually sit. So i’m kinda disappointed with the wrangler bcoz they did not really focus on the safety more on adventure and offroading.
That's a question I can't answer 😂 We have had the 4Runner a couple months. I haven't had any issues on Jeep (knock on wood!) and haven't had any recalls. I make sure maintenance is up to date on both all the time. The Jeep is at 90k miles now. We will see
Not understanding about regearing going from 33s to 35s. Understand that I dont know that much about stuff like that, i went from 33s to 37s and only had to reset my speedometer bcause of the size difference. Been running like that for about 3 years and no problems.
You can and I did for a while, but bigger tires will risk transmission failure. Transmission needs re-gearing after a tire change so as to not damage your gearbox. Google it you will see.
Not all Jeeps are the same. Like 2 people who have the same medical condition will have 2 different reactions. I'll need to know what kind of Jeep you have (sport, Sahara, rubicon, etc), how much weight you put on it already, is it manual or automatic, and what gear ratio yours has from the factory. I'll be able to tell you why you haven't had issues.
I know im two years or so late on my comment but it's UA-cam right !! I started following you a good while ago and did so cause i think very similar to you and i like checking out other ideas and way to look at something that all said only us really poor MF'ers but products like these either cause it's all we can afford or in my case cause i wanted it done to hit the trail & or functions going on at the time but regardless how much a product is we should be able to use them for a certain time frame and with both of my purchases from this company that was definitely not the case !!! In your position id install em and give my feed back but i wouldn't expect to use them for very long even for free !!! Keep up the awesome job Brutha !!! Oh by the way you can drill out nutcerts or cut the back off and get em out that way , when you can access the backs. ....
Agreed. This was the THIRD product I have tried from them and they still email me now to do stuff and I said nope. I'm done haha Yeah man we don't always have the money to spend but that's why sometimes it really has to be a "buy once cry once" mentality
True. They're NICE (as in looks). But as far as articulation goes, you're back to square one. What you gained in clearance moving to fenders like this, you lost it right back going to a bigger tire.
@@BaptismOverland agreed but it’s all part of the process of owning a Jeep. It’s never ending with what we want 😂 some parts we install we love them at first and then wonder why we changed them 😂. Really enjoy watching your channel and keep going 👍🏻
Funny because I have been searching for that answer for awhile. I ended up just leaving it for now. I actually want to use truck liner and line the inside with it
I agree but I have some on mine to go with the flow of the front ones I have. My rear inners have a flag design in it with a white color. It’s just for looks and I don’t know anyone who can paint a flag on mine without the inner fenders. Just my opinion both ways are fine.
To be honest, I think the OEM fenders look much better than these. They just look extremely cheap IMO. Also, to remove the factory fenders there's no reason to remove the plastic riv nuts or separate the inner and outer fender. The entire assembly will easily pull out together.
Oh you are DEFINITELY right. I learned everything you said the hard way. But check out the video I just released a couple of weeks ago on the new fenders I got and love!
At 4:14 he mentioned “if you’re the one to step on the fender” who in their right mind would do that? They’re not made for that to begin with. Geez whiz !!!

1/4 inch welds will hold a ton before it stresses the weld to the point of breaking.
Great point about adding rivets. Thanks!!

Just make sure if you go with a wrangler DO NOT get one with the 3.8L Find one with the 3.6L it has now horsepower and is more reliable.
You should check out nemesis industries fenders, they are beautiful fenders, a bit on the pricey side but one of the best looking fenders for sure
