What's nice about this 4 runner is it has the best of both worlds. Old school NA port injected motor with a normal non active learning transmission with all the modern safety features camera's of a modern truck. Plus it will hold its value even more once the overpriced next gen 4 runner comes out. I don't see Toyota being able to maintain the higher price points much longer as we near a time of stagflation. Unless you have means and can pay cash I strongly advise not to pour money into a truck with high car payments.

Many more parts under the hood to fail, much better chance of burning oil and making sludge and there is no way around the fact that small displacement turbo motors wear out quicker.
