The PT figs went hard this year. The placing of your picks resonates with me. I have a few different figs in my top 10 but your list could easly be top 10 for me too. Im excited to see what comes next year with what we already know and what we don't.
2024 was such a great year for the line we got so many sepies, but its a shame the OT didnt get the same amount of love but at least 2025 will give them some love with the og cast

I agree with the points on the Phase I Clone Trooper, helps that the P1 Lieutenant, Captain, Sergeant and Commander would look excellent on the 2023 Clone mould if Hasbro goes back to redo them.
What do you both think of Skullmington Gru? I have to grudgingly admit I bloody loved it! I had a big grin on my face for both episodes, which for D+ SW shows, is most surely a refreshing change. I'm going to watch them again before Ep.3. I hate myself!! 😅😂 Right... Davey's big theory!!... I won't bore you with the finer details. Planet At-At is a dystopian place, and is basically a hidden part of Palp's Grand, overarching Plan to keep himself in power, from his start in the pree-kwells, to the bloody awful see-kwells (which he obviously should never have been in...) I theorise that At-At is a physical and financial, vault depository of varying cash and wealth. It's effectively a Bank. I then think that, without their knowledge, the inhabitants of At-At will provide the financing for, and the eventual auxiliary labour, to supply the rise of The First Order. Whilst also being shrouded in secrecy, I think the "Great Work" that is referenced, will be eventually be unveiled as Star Killer Base. Crap!!... I completely forgot to add my best theory of all. KB (Katy Berry- she kissed a girl and "loiked' it!! 😅) is...... LOBOT'S DAUGHTER!!!!!
Great list guys! The only one i would take out is Maul with the Bloodfin. I'm not going to take it out of the "nostalgia bate packaging" box due to colors of bloodfin. I know why they did it, but i didn't collect 12" then (and still don't). I ended up buying the Figuarts version to display. I'd replace it with TPM Anakin (even though his outfit needs a dirty brown wash) since I've wanted him so long and other than the lack of a wash, he seems perfect.
I agree, I'd probably prefer with the Naboo pilot helmet and I would even accept a second Anakin figure with a dirty lower face and his podracer helmet.
Couldn’t agree more with the list. 2024 has been stellar and year after year, the line seems to be improving. Ahsoka Peridia (despite the inevitable rerelease w/ cloak coming) is also a banger fig. Hears to 2025!
It's wild that Brutus took the number 9 spot. Any other year and he'd have been the obvious #1. One of the best figs we've gotten since the start of the line in a year full of "best we've gotten since the start of the line."
This year was incredible for figgies. More incredible articulation, better paint apps, better sculpting. I gotta say that I think my favorite figure this year has gotta be that new Maul. When I first got him with that speeder, I just sat there at my desk fiddling with him and throwing him into any acrobatic pose I could think of, for at least an hour. Loved him so much that I bought all 3 versions of him. Granted, one I did throw Nihilus parts at to finally bring that badboy up to modern articulation schemes. (Gave him grand inquisitor calves to make him taller) There were so many excellent figures this year though.
The new Maul is so good! As far as an actual figure, I prefer the single release. I just think it's an overall better figure with the plastic, but it's also awesome having the Bloodfin. Thanks for watching! -Justin
I’m not gonna disagree with you there. I’m just glad Hasbro was courteous enough to announce all the releases roughly at the same time for people to actually decide which version(s) they wanted
Hasbro keeps getting better every year with the Black Series. We have very similar lists for the top 10 of the year. (I don't count vehicles, so I had to remove them.) 10. Neel - The head sculpt and accessories are really good. 9. Osha - Hasbro came in hard with The Acolyte figures. Say what you want about the show (I liked it), but the sculpt is incredible on this figure. 8. Mae - You can almost bundle Mae and Osha together. I like the cloak and face mask a little more than Osha's accessories. 7. Pirate Captain Brutus - He's another amazing sculpt, lots of paint and 5 painted blasters. What more can you ask for? 6. The Pit Droids - I passed on the Disney Droid Pack, so this is my first Pit Droids and I absolutely love them. 5. Captain Enoch - He is another Star Wars character that just looks SO cool. Hasbro nailed his look. 4. Hammerhead - He will always be Hammerhead to me. The figures always look so much better when Hasbro uses a wash on them. 3. KI-Adi-Mundi - You pretty much covered why. He's the best articulated Jedi that Hasbro has made. Sculpt is also nearly perfect. 2. Droidika - As long as you have been wanting a Super Battle Droid I have had Droidika on the top of my list. I cannot be happier with how it turned out. 1. Super Battle Droid - I wanted the Droidika to be #1, but honestly this figure is perfect. It's easily in the top 3 figures (probably top 2) for the entire line.

Finances are somewhat tight as I've had an expensive two months dealing with my car and my Daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations, but I've managed to still get some great additions to the collection. My problem now is I have single releases piling up that I haven't managed to get, but I need to be thankful more, for what I do have. A massive bonus was I really enjoyed Skellington Crew. I thought it would be more dreadful content, but just turned out to be really fun, which is something I haven't said about sw in a long time.

Wayne!! How's doing Kid? Not too bad here. I saw that offer from SA on Monday morning. I debated it for about 36 seconds and bit their arm off. I'm not exactly over-endowed with cash currently (£1500 in October on car stuff and Mid November was my Daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations) but it immediately felt like one of those "why the hell didn't you get that??" moments that I've had many times previously when I've missed/ignored/couldn't afford certain things, and then they haunt me forever! I'd only just regretted not making more effort on a ebay auction of 4 loose cream B1 battle droids which ended up going for about £46 a few hours previously, so I didn't want to do it twice in one day.
This was definitely my favourite year collecting this line in a long time, to the point that it had me rearrange my whole Black Series shelf with how many I picked up. There's still a lot of 2024 specific figures I need to pick up before I can choose a top ten let alone a favourite, but amongst them there's so many great figures that I can understand anyone's choice for a top pick, aside from Baylan or Shin, definitely not Baylan or Shin.
Super Battle Droid was easily the best banger to be delivered. Droideka was missing the rolling part, or the ability to ball up and that was too big to ignore.

Great list!! Agree with nearly all of them. I would have included Mae instead of phase 1 trooper since Mae is a new character and the figure resembled a very close likeness to the actress in the show. Luminara Unduli, Shaak Ti, Savage Opress... wow, also looking forward to 2025!!

Probably the best year of the Black Series since I started collecting in 2019, I’m definitely biased as a Clone Wars collector but the amount of prequel love we got made my heart warm- never bought more figures in one year than I did in the last couple months!
Great video! I agree with your picks, even though I didn't buy everything on your list. It's nice that everyone can make a list and fill it with quality figures, even if the figures are different. Looking forward to collecting in 2025!
Spoilt for choice this year..Momaw Nadon and the CIS droids are my fav..props for the Morbid Angel shirt..met David Vincent back in the 90s when they toured Australia..still a brutal band...cheers boys🍺🍺🍻
Momaw in the top 5! Let's gooooo Great list overall. Honestly, this year will go down in black series history as a renaissance year. Two great vehicles, an ithorian, two amazing and unexpected droids, a definitive Din... It's rather amazing what this dead line accomplished and I am actually excited and optimistic for 2025.

As somewhat of an OG trilogy guy because of my age I’m not that mad about the prequels so I won’t get many of these. But I can see why you rate them so much. That said I did order the three pack for Obi, Qui and Maul as a high point of the prequels.
I enjoyed the first two episodes of Skeleton Crew enough that I bought Brutus as soon as I was done watching. Not sure if I'll pick up the rest just yet, but I hear we're getting SM-33. He's an instabuy. Overall, a great year for SWB! (Here's a thought - make that STAP more widely available. I'd buy one IF I COULD GET HOLD OF ONE!).
There have been so many BANGER figures this year, off the top of my head in no particular order, some of my favorites have been Jecki, B2, Ki-Adi, Glavis Mando, the STAP, and droideka. Get those wallets ready, boys. Next year is going to HIT

I've been thinking about this for my collection. I would have Captain Rex in the top ten because I got it this year after the re release but because of that it can't be in the top ten.
My top 10 1. Darth Maul ( single and blood fin) 2. Yoda 3. Sidious 4. 332nd trooper 5. Super battle droid 6. Mando 7. Phase 1 troopers 8. Thrawn 9. Ahsoka the white 10. Enoch Honorable mention Ki Adi mundi I haven’t opened the droideka yet as it is a Christmas gift
I wonder how the heads of star wars Disney feel about the figure lines survival being on the 6 original films / pre Disney . I don't know how it works with the license I would assume that the numbers wouldn't be the same if they didn't release these figures we want and released just new media.
2024 was a great year. Don't get me wrong but nothing will beat last year with the Old Republic figs My opinion, they need to make more more old Republic stuff please. Black series Hasbro please
The super battle droid figure is nearly the pinnacle of what Hasbro can do when they actually give a shit. I wish they'd figure out that if they give the fans what they want, it doesn't matter if it's more expensive to make because the fans will buy it. They actually tried with the super battle droid and if they could just listen to the fans more often, they wouldn't be as disliked as they are right now. The greed of these executives in all these companies really poisons the well throughout
Interesting. I swapped out Yoda for Ki Adi Mundi. I just like Yoda more. SBD is the best army builder ever. Clone 2023 is great. SBD is best. Comes with blast effect! RIP AT-RT and BARC… moment of silence for Black Series vehicles…… 11-20 would be an interesting list this year. My top ten is very close to yours. I move Momaw Nadon up higher. It’s him and SBD neck and neck. The PoTF blaster elevates fig for me. Droideka is great but blast effects make it even better. There were several two packs/multi-packs that were fun. May be an interesting top five or ten. Great year for BS.

The 2020 Stormtrooper is awesome, but I'm really starting to think it needs more bulk. At the very least it needs a larger helmet. Bicep swivel and a holster would be great additions to the figure as well! -Justin
Natey!!! Unironically, absolutely me too!! I got the Cantina 3 pac/bar twice, Fib Bortuna, and Hammerhead so I think I'm on 12 cups officially. That is nowhere near enough! When I was making my diorama creations, I came up with a literal never ending supply of homemade cups, that work really well. I noticed rolling tobacco filter tips were identical in size, so I just paint the outside black, grey, brown etc and the top a liquid-y colour, and I scatter them everywhere.
Hot Take: Hasbro hamstrung the vehicles by doing nostalgia toy deco instead of film accurate. They did a niche version of a franchise that has a niche demographic who buy black series toys. Shoulda been film deco from DAY ONE to maximize appeal.
I thought I'd gotten out of army building TBS figures... but the Super Battle Droid got me back in! The figure I messed with the most is definitely Glavis Ringworld Mando, though. He's just so fun and dynamic, and they did (almost) everything right.
Nice, how many SBDs do you have so far? I’m sitting at 3 standard, 1 geonosis and 1 from survivor. Glavis is such a banger any other year and it could have easily been top 3. -Nate
When it comes to the black series community, you can always count on one thing. They’ll cheap out and refuse to pony up for vehicles or anything else priced over $24.99. Pathetic.
No ones buying "vehicles" because it sucks... we want stuff like 2008 gunship.... 2009 fighter tank..... at-te walkers.... of course no ones buying the speeder.....

Finances are somewhat tight as I've had an expensive two months dealing with my car and my Daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations, but I've managed to still get some great additions to the collection. My problem now is I have single releases piling up that I haven't managed to get, but I need to be thankful more, for what I do have. A massive bonus was I really enjoyed Skellington Crew. I thought it would be more dreadful content, but just turned out to be really fun, which is something I haven't said about sw in a long time.

Wayne!! How's doing Kid? Not too bad here. I saw that offer from SA on Monday morning. I debated it for about 36 seconds and bit their arm off. I'm not exactly over-endowed with cash currently (£1500 in October on car stuff and Mid November was my Daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations) but it immediately felt like one of those "why the hell didn't you get that??" moments that I've had many times previously when I've missed/ignored/couldn't afford certain things, and then they haunt me forever! I'd only just regretted not making more effort on a ebay auction of 4 loose cream B1 battle droids which ended up going for about £46 a few hours previously, so I didn't want to do it twice in one day.

This was definitely my favourite year collecting this line in a long time, to the point that it had me rearrange my whole Black Series shelf with how many I picked up. There's still a lot of 2024 specific figures I need to pick up before I can choose a top ten let alone a favourite, but amongst them there's so many great figures that I can understand anyone's choice for a top pick, aside from Baylan or Shin, definitely not Baylan or Shin.

Super Battle Droid was easily the best banger to be delivered. Droideka was missing the rolling part, or the ability to ball up and that was too big to ignore.

Great list!! Agree with nearly all of them. I would have included Mae instead of phase 1 trooper since Mae is a new character and the figure resembled a very close likeness to the actress in the show. Luminara Unduli, Shaak Ti, Savage Opress... wow, also looking forward to 2025!!

Probably the best year of the Black Series since I started collecting in 2019, I’m definitely biased as a Clone Wars collector but the amount of prequel love we got made my heart warm- never bought more figures in one year than I did in the last couple months!

Two great vehicles, an ithorian, two amazing and unexpected droids, a definitive Din... It's rather amazing what this dead line accomplished and I am actually excited and optimistic for 2025.

As somewhat of an OG trilogy guy because of my age I’m not that mad about the prequels so I won’t get many of these. But I can see why you rate them so much. That said I did order the three pack for Obi, Qui and Maul as a high point of the prequels.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of Skeleton Crew enough that I bought Brutus as soon as I was done watching. Not sure if I'll pick up the rest just yet, but I hear we're getting SM-33. He's an instabuy. Overall, a great year for SWB! (Here's a thought - make that STAP more widely available. I'd buy one IF I COULD GET HOLD OF ONE!).

The super battle droid figure is nearly the pinnacle of what Hasbro can do when they actually give a shit. I wish they'd figure out that if they give the fans what they want, it doesn't matter if it's more expensive to make because the fans will buy it. They actually tried with the super battle droid and if they could just listen to the fans more often, they wouldn't be as disliked as they are right now. The greed of these executives in all these companies really poisons the well throughout

Interesting. I swapped out Yoda for Ki Adi Mundi. I just like Yoda more. SBD is the best army builder ever. Clone 2023 is great. SBD is best. Comes with blast effect! RIP AT-RT and BARC… moment of silence for Black Series vehicles…… 11-20 would be an interesting list this year. My top ten is very close to yours. I move Momaw Nadon up higher. It’s him and SBD neck and neck. The PoTF blaster elevates fig for me. Droideka is great but blast effects make it even better. There were several two packs/multi-packs that were fun. May be an interesting top five or ten. Great year for BS.

The 2020 Stormtrooper is awesome, but I'm really starting to think it needs more bulk. At the very least it needs a larger helmet. Bicep swivel and a holster would be great additions to the figure as well! -Justin

Natey!!! Unironically, absolutely me too!! I got the Cantina 3 pac/bar twice, Fib Bortuna, and Hammerhead so I think I'm on 12 cups officially. That is nowhere near enough! When I was making my diorama creations, I came up with a literal never ending supply of homemade cups, that work really well. I noticed rolling tobacco filter tips were identical in size, so I just paint the outside black, grey, brown etc and the top a liquid-y colour, and I scatter them everywhere.
Hot Take: Hasbro hamstrung the vehicles by doing nostalgia toy deco instead of film accurate. They did a niche version of a franchise that has a niche demographic who buy black series toys. Shoulda been film deco from DAY ONE to maximize appeal.
They did the theatrical look for the STAP, awesome speeder. -Justin

I thought I'd gotten out of army building TBS figures... but the Super Battle Droid got me back in! The figure I messed with the most is definitely Glavis Ringworld Mando, though. He's just so fun and dynamic, and they did (almost) everything right.
