Thank you. This was a big help. Bike coming this week and harder to find answer to these questions than I thought. But, you covered everything I needed to know in under 3 minutes! Really appreciate it.
*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*

It went together easily in less than an hour. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
I was thinking about getting these. But many of the Amazon reviews say the pedals make an annoying clicking sound and they regretting spending the money. Did you get yours from EBay?
My pedals are just like yours. Left pedal came off no problem. Reversed threaded like you stated which was helpful. The right pedal though, I can't get it loosened for nothing! Sprayed it with WD40. Ended up pounding the wrench with a hammer. Just can't get the thing to break. I'm thinking it might have swollen from temperature changes ? I got the bike in May 2016 and have only rode it 3 times. Got new pedals because I do not like the clip ins. Any suggestions ?
Pedals unscrew in opposite directions from each other. Left hand and right hand threads. Use a Park Tools pedal wrench to gain leverage and make note of the direction you got off, then go the opposite direction on the other.
I spoke with Peloton today. If you damage the part you’re changing or cross thread the pedal and damage the crank arm - the damage would not be covered on the replacement part. It does not, according to Peloton on 3/6/21, void the warranty on the whole bike.
Do you mean at the end of the spindle around the bearings, or the thread that screws into the crank arm? If it is the spindle,Many pedals have different sizes unique to the brands, you need to pop the dust ring off to see it. for the thread that goes into crank arm, there are only two dimensions, 9/16 and 15mm. The 9/16 is never found on new equipment.
Dev Everything There’s nothing wrong with the regular pedals. We have riders in our home that use both Delta Look Cleats and SPD cleats and we wanted to be able to use both options, so we switched them out. The regular pedals are for Delta Look Cleats only. Hope this helps!
@@ericamgetfit5789 I mean whats wrong with the bike pedals that came on my huffy? haha why do they have to have delta or SPD. I have a brand new peloton that i cant use because of the stupid pedals
Dev Everything Cleats are used to attach your shoes to the pedals allowing you to pull rather than just push. It gives you a more well rounded leg workout. Regular flat pedals that don’t require cleats (like on your huffy) don’t give you an ability to pull.

Great video! I get my new bike in 2 days. I may also have to change out the pedals, so this saved me the research and questions. :)

Super video, thank you so much!!!

Perfect. Thank you!
put a little bit of grease on the threads when you install the new pedals or alternatively some anti-seize
My bike comes next week and I will look you up so we can race.
very helpful!
Thank you!
Very helpful
I always think "pedal goes over and back" on both sides. I never have to remember which side is right tighty and which is not. Over and back.
Do you have a link to these pedals that you switched to?

I know it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to watch newly released movies online ?
@Nikolai Dakari Lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
@Deshawn Ahmir Yea, I have been watching on Flixzone for since march myself :D
@Deshawn Ahmir Thanks, signed up and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it !
@Nikolai Dakari Glad I could help :)
How much did you pay for those pedals?
My pedals are just like yours. Left pedal came off no problem. Reversed threaded like you stated which was helpful. The right pedal though, I can't get it loosened for nothing! Sprayed it with WD40. I’m having the same issue. Did it help with the hammer?
Heat it up with a heat gun

Can you please provide a link to the pedals you found on amazon? I can't seem to find them.
Unfortunately, they're no longer in stock on Amazon.
Where can these be purchased?
I can't find them anywhere :(

Hello, does anybody know the size of the nut attached to the pedal is?

Has anyone been able to find these????
Walmart and Amazon show the Schwinn Triple-link pedals for $170

EricaMGetFit I genuinely didn’t know the reason either, thank you for that. My Peloton arrives tomorrow, can’t wait!
