I am reading Tantra Illuminated and want to thank you for making these teachings so accessable ... For a long time I thought I was losing my mind because of some intense spontaneous experiences during meditation. This jewel of a book has not only brought me validation, but also given me practices and teachings that are lighting up the path( that I never knew I was on)...Thank you for your passion and clarity.
Namaste Hareesh🙏💖I am eternally grateful for all that you devote your life to each moment. May you continue to bless this universe with your offerings. I would love for you to do a UA-cam on emotional digestion. I facilitate this with my clients in vichara sessions. I often recommend your offerings to support their unfolding process. Emotional digestion I find is really where it’s at in terms of living as an awake tantric. Om Namah Shivaaya 🙏🕉️🔱💖🌸✨
Great clear teachings, as always. Can't reccomend Bhuta Shuddhi enough- The great practice I bow to, with definitive results after only 3 months of practice- after 4 years now, it is what I consider to be Home. Especially wonderful for digestion and learning about balance and nourishment of Awareness. Thank you 🙏
I also recommend his book, The Recognition Sutras, chapters 11 and 18. And his Chakra Illuminated course on the Embodied Philosophy website (you can have a free trial and just do the course).
Gorgeous. So clear. I would like to hear more about the three Bindus in the Causal/Supra-causal body. Also, the practices for emotional digestion would be very interesting. 🖤
This was incredible! Thank you so much. It was the best explanation Ive ever heard and has really deepened my knowledge. You have a true gift as a teacher 😊
Thank you very much Hareesh, I find this episode very synchronistic as I've just begun diving into somatic work through Dr Reggie Rays audiobooks. It definitely feels like the right time to re up my subscription for tantra illuminated.
I would very much like to hear far more about emotional digestion! I take it it's not something one can easily do intuitively? I can feel all sorts of crazy things going on in my energy body, so I have no clue how to tame that beast, but no doubt it's needed ;)
Great video describing the basics. Appreciate the effort you are putting in constantly to make Tantra information known in simple words. Of course, the map is not the terrain, which if the aspirant is to navigate, purification of heart is a mandatory prerequisite, in my opinion, which must be visible in thought, word and deed in lived reality by a consciousness shift. I also hold the view that we should not tinker with kundalini through any practice, let the energy manifest spontaneously.
Really interesting Hareesh - thank you. As a yoga teacher (in the usual sense of the word) for 15 years I talked about the seven chakras from time to time. Weirdly I never felt 'right' about the mantras associated (as they often are) with the seven chakras - and as an astrologer the element association with them didn't intuitively feel right to me either. Your explanation of this was an a-ha moment. Looking forward to learning more on digestion - and installation of the deities. Thanks again.
I think I have kundalini process for the last 4 years, and I’m going trough periods of explosions of energy and ecstasy in daily life from the beauty of nature and meditation, sometimes feeling like I’m melting into this energy, and than feel lows and depression almost unable to get out of bed
@@christopherwallis751 I don’t know. I been in therapy and i didn’t get diagnosis. 4 years ago after psychedelic experience, this energy awakened, today after 4 years, and after reading accounts of kundalini awakening, and your books, I trust more in the process. I think I just had no context of what happened to me and my ego kind of fight with this ecstatic energy and resist, I think this is what cause the depression. I’m really appreciate your work tank you, sometimes I feel like I’m crazy and I find your teaching and practices very helpful🙏🏽
@@christopherwallis751 In the last few years, I have been attending meditation retreats, and there I feel safe. When I enter the retreat, I fully surrender to it, experiencing feelings of joy, happiness, and connection with nature. It feels like everything melts into a bright blue light, and there I can fully surrender. I think the difficulty is integrating this into daily life. There were also moments when I hid from it and tried to suppress it. Sometimes it feels like a fight within me, the ego pulling to one side and the energy to the other. I’m constantly trying to put this experience into words and read many resources as an attempt to create some conceptual framework. I found your teaching, and it really resonates with me.
Thank you Hareesh. I'm finding tonnes of value in your podcasts here, and am grateful for you and your work. I would second other comments on wanting to know more on emotional digestion. I'm pretty blocked up! And after a few years of spontaneous energy in central channel, still feel pretty blocked up. I guess I had the impression that the energy would just clear it up with enough time and surrender, but gosh is it taking a while..thank you.
Am very interested in your course and corellations between cakras and grahas, especially if there are any known scriptural sources! My thanks, as always. Om Shanti.
Namaskar Hareesh, Natarka Atma! Yes… I am currently in the bliss stage of discovering tantra through your generous, intelligent, inspiring teaching after many years of focused practice with the Yoga sutras and Gita , other canonical philosophies, while already chanting, asana practice , bija mantra meditation, pranayama! and YES, profoundly interested in working through samskaras of emotional disturbance .. clearing , integrating energies bhavas , kleshas, maya ?! 🧘🏻♀️
If bliss is felt in the chakras and nadis do you think that could be indictive of causal body experience or anandamaya kosha? I'd like to hear more about the subtle and causal body in more detail, I enjoy these topics.
❤❤❤ I enjoy the practice from the course - The Energy body a lot and hoping to figure out where my block is for my obsession with cleaning, order, colors and spoting dirt & bakterias with my radar eyes. My obsesión can be sometimes very limiting because I will not be able to clean Up or put order at every place I visit. The bindu practice is helping me a lot to get in to the state that I am untoucheble by the dirt and strong, even when It feels disgusting. And have set myself on a training to go to messy places and places I do not want to be. And do things I do not want to do from time to time.
Great podcast hareesh! I would love to hear an episode about the bandhas pre hatha yoga because I know they are tantric but never hear anything about them. I would also like to know about the earliest texts to mention kundalini, its evolution, and the impact it had on yoga and future traditions. Hari Om Tat Sat.
Thank you very much for this very rich episod 🙏 Regarding the digestion of samskaras, do you mention the practice of Yoga Nidra in any of your courses ? And, is there a way to access (for the moment) only the course concerning the subtle body on your platform ? Namaste 💖
Thank you Hareesh-ji. Yes more of emotional digestion please, for now i only know to keep the front and back door of my heart open do it passes and does what it wants to. But i have a burning question: are Nadis and prana, things that we already have in our mental-emotional body? Or are we Forming those by the tantric blueprint and imagination we are Giving those things we already Have, a new more Structured Structure, so we can use nadi/prana in a more structured way for the practices with chakras etc that lay ahead? Also which part of our tattvas correlate specifically to nadis and prana? Buddhi or Manas or some other
Thank you, Harresh 🙏 I would be very curious about how the tantric energy-body practices relate to the Chinese energy body practices such as Qigong, Taiqi, Zhan Zhuang etc. Is the concept of Qi the same as what you refer to as “energy”? For context, I have been practicing Qigong and Zhan Zhuang, and it has lead to precisely the removal of blockages as well as to the digestion of unresolved experiences that you talked about here…
For sure there is some overlap. Qi = Prāna, one aspect of (somatic) energy, specifically the vital force, as opposed to the energy of say thoughts and emotions.
Greetings! I think I was on this Energy Body podcast, but might have been the subtle body meditation-but can you talk more about the little known ckra just above and behind the soft palate? 🙏🏼
nothing to talk about. practice with it. for example uccāra practice is key for activating that chakra (there are two teaching videos on it here on my channel).
Many thanks❣️Can you share which text from the 16th cent. you mean? The one which try to combine all different cakra-systems. Many thanks in advance धन्यासमि Bärbel🫶
I look forward on the promised episode about digesting samskaras 🙏🏻
Don't know when that will happen. Better to subscribe to the platform for 1 month.
or you can do the one-week free trial on the platform and find everything you need, probably.
Brief, but packed with jewel! Thank you Hareesh!
