Unboxing the Sedici Strada II helmet (and unintended review of the AGV X3000 helmet)

- Sedici Strada II unboxing! I bought the awesome AGV X3000 helmet and after riding with it for a while, decided it was not awesome for me. So I got ahold of the Sedici Strada II and here I do an unboxing, cheek-pad and liner removal and visor install. Along the way I also give my thoughts about why the AGV X3000 wasn't the right helmet for me, even though it's a great helmet in general. Looking forward to riding with the Sedici.

For the price I believe this is the best helmet. Very comfortable, aggressive looking, really light for the price point.

I bought this helmet from Revzella I ordered it in the store. I picked up the helmet at the store brand new but it never had a shaded visor with it. I noticed you had it it your box 📦. Did you order it as extra?

I'm torn between the Strada II and Sistema II. Leaning Strada because I've read it is quieter and my commute is basically 1 50mph road, and 1 65mph road.
Weird question... but what is your head measurement?
The size chart says to measure above your eyebrows and around just above your ears. When I do that I'm 22.75". The size chart says medium goes to 22.8" and the Large starts at 23.2".
I'm leaning Large because I'm bald, and sometimes put on a balaclava or similar when it's cold.
I just got a bike again and haven't had one in 8 years, but I'm using my Scorpion EVO Sting from like 2008, and it's an XL and fits really good and snug. So I don't know if helmet sizes have changed that much in 15 years, or if the sizing charts just aren't that accurate.
If you know, or possibly could, tell me your head measurement, it would help me decide which size to go with.
What a weird world... I'm asking a stranger on the internet to measure their head for me.... haha
I’m not sure about my head size but I’d go medium. It’ll be tight at first but then relax. Or if you can get to a Cycle Gear or Revzilla store, go try them on. I’ve vowed to never buy another helmet without trying it in first. 😳😁

$hiiiit, your review of the AGV X3000 and your Cardo set up helped me pull the trigger on ordering one! What didn’t you like about the AGV??
The AGV is a great helmet. I covered my thoughts in the video pretty much. You may love it. For me it was too noisy, and too wide for my head so I got a lot of lift from wind. Cool helmet for sure. Let me know how you like it.

Ya they sound good. I did mount the speakers a bit low to allow my ears to fit without being smashed against the speakers.
@@heybuck6588 any more hint to install cardo 2 on X3000?
Do you mean PackTalk? I’ve only worked with FREECOM 4. But, just keep speakers as close to the helmet as you can. No spacers. Maybe install lower in the helmet if your ears rub against the speakers.
I have a bell qualifier,and absolutely love it,best helmet I’ve ever owned! But for long trips,or trips with a lot of stops,I need a modular,and was looking at the sedici modular with Bluetooth
how come u didnt get the MIPS version?
I don’t think the MIPS was available when I bought this. I didn’t see it on the shelves at cycle gear.
Nice helmet, but ill stay with my HJC Helmet CS-R3 you Cant go wrong with those :)

Yeah, I got it when I ordered the helmet and I have also noticed that they are short on supply now. Hope you can find one!
