It’s hard to put your raw emotions into a song that you send out to the world. The lyrics are brutal but they come from the darkest days of Gary’s life. That is what makes this song so incredibly great! Oh, also this song is one of my favorites!
Thank You Gary Numan, from all those who follow your Creations an Inspirations of Music, from the Very Begining, Many Decades ago.. For creating an awesome Soundtrack to our lives...
Utter, utter raw emotion. Passionless android? Yeah, sure. Awesome live performance. Credit to Andy Grey for turning a good song into an absolute Numan monster classic. Right up there with his best ever tracks.
everytime i watch this it makes me even more proud that i followed gary numan from the beginning way back in 1979. this vid....the show the man the performance the song and Andy Greys unstoppable and brilliant mix what is there not to love about this
Yes, As with so many of us Fans, Yep, Numinoids!, we have followed Gary Numan and proudly, Since the very Begining, every one of his Great Music Creations are awesome, having withstood Time they are as Kool now as when they first came outand continue to do so, as well. Since his beginning through the Years of so many great songs, he has been with us, our Musical Companion, and we with him throughout our daily lives. As a previous Fan said, his songs and the synthesisers he uses to create them, makes the hairs on his arms stand up, thats right, the songs move us Emotionally inside, and make their lasting Mark in our Lives, Thank You. Looking Towards a long Future with Gary Numan continuing to Create the Soundtrack to our Lives...
@@deletebilderberg actually no ! i quit buying his records and going to shows from the fury onward until Sacrifice and i didn't go to another concert until TPP 2009, I have none of the albums in between that period, they were terrible. i still kept an eye on what he was up to though and the reason i'm proud is because unlike most other artists in that position, he didn't give up, roll over and die,
Every now and the an artist drags their back catalogue screaming and shouting into the present day, gary being a very notable contributor to that realm, when i heard "cars" at the o2 with nine inch nails...it knocked me sideways,he's done the same thing with is current shows, epic, mooday and in touch with the fans.the old stuff is pure classic, but his take today on his body of work is nothing short of genius.
So glad you posted this show. I live in the States and had never seen this footage before. I keep watching for a DVD on eBay but so far only the audio CD is available. Thanks for sharing!
I used to watch on Ebay for these too. If one comes up, make sure it's Region 1 if you live in the U.S. They often are so expensive and I have yet to see the day that one of them was Region 1. Really sucks when you pay big money for one of those DVD's and can't watch it due to stupid region locks.
Hola spaceman... si usted por casualidad tienes algun otro DVD concierto de Gary Numan... subelo a la nube y me regalas el link.. yo subire el DVD para aquellas regiones que no puedan reproducir el disco
That's not the case for everyone. Most religious people that know and understand the scriptures know that God gave us free will and they find comfort in him during their time of loss. He doesn't always interfere and he shouldn't be blamed. Maybe GN's baby was sick and wouldn't have survived outside the womb. Still, this is a sad and beautiful song. I believe in one God and it's not Numan.... but I love Numan and always have... atheist or not... he's still amazing.
I don't believe in God. Any God. Religion is a man made lie dream't up to suppress the masses. Until a little over a hundred years ago, most people still believed in God (regardless of religion). Science, Philosophy and reasoning have slowly picked apart ant credibilty religion had so that now, anyone who believes is delusional in the extreme. I do believe in faith, which comes from being a good person. God does not need to be involved or used as an excuse. Gary Numan doesn't always sing about God. But, when he does, it's to question his existence, credence or ability.
Those who gave this thumbs down are tone deaf and deserve to be removed from this planet.

There was so much shite between this and Telekon
Or did you forget about that?

The man who proved Bowie wrong
A hymn for the Athiest!
+Berserker Phil If you lose a child,it's easy to become an atheist
+Matthew Carey Gary was an athiest long before he lost a child.

I wonder why Numan always sings about God. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god or gods. ? Still, I love his music.
