I had one in sw scotland , twin isacson winches, bought it from my Grandpa, ploughing and skidding, then the company I went to work for said I'd have to use their county.. lasted a week and told them to let me use the Fordson for a week.. pulled out 50% more 2nd thinning on RR pension plan plantations.. The county wasn't nimble enough.. skinned too many trees.. Company was happy.
I used one with a 6 tone single line Boynton winch...back in the mid 90s...put new diff bearing and seal in the diff...turned the shrivel housing around had the try bar on top ... out off harms way...thair 3 different front exles made by (roadless)... we all so at the time had a plough master 95...different try arm mounts all so ... saw a nother axle .. different all so... 4 bolt...or cast mount ...helo from Ireland...
Hey guys, it may be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway. The attachment at the gearbox to power the front axle, what is it? Is it an attachment that's sold, or do one have to make their own? Thanks
@@whbondclassictractorsas I understand it , fella in South England was making the conversions.. but might be another fella is going to make some castings in NZ.. Some Irish folk were talking of doing some roadless redo's too That is if any foundries are still going to be able to operate given the carbon target nonsense.
Nice to see a working major. 😊
Thank you for the nice look around.
