    Thanks! Very helpful, especially the very last part about using it for leveling.

    Would it work in areas that are over 1/2" thick?

    How long does it take to dry?

    Should have used Henry 344 instead, and smooth those application edges out. That's just going to channel more water, and create more noise under foot.

    How long til I can put a pad/carpet on top of the repaired spots? I've got Lowes coming soon to redo our carpet and know that there are some low spots that need repair. I cut a few "windows" out of the current carpet to peel it and the pad back so that I can do some of the repairs now, but am wondering if this is something that I can do as the crew is pulling carpet/pad out as I see more spots?

    Like when grouting tile, you should be moving across the seams at a 45 degree angle, not along the length of the seam as demonstrated in the video.

    Do you need to sand at all if there are rough edges left?

      A decent amount of time if you put it on thick, with the area here probably like a day.

    If you don’t get splitters in your feet, that means you did a good job?

    Does it crack and crumble overtime

      Im not sure, typically you would cover it and nothing would be affecting it.

    Does it smells bad.?

      @rls151 Рік тому +1

      I'd does but the smell goes away as it dries.

    That stuff is crap and not good for your application as it is not a skim coat. You needed Henrys 558 feather finish.

    • @justme8649
      @justme8649 Рік тому

      Erm... I think you mean 549 don't you? 558 is aluminum roof coating... 🤔🤭😉

      You can't nail through henry products so this stuff is really one of the only valid alternatives if you need to fasten into the subfloor.
