In regards to color magic associated with fire, I’ve also incorporated blue into fire magic as that is the area where the flame is hottest since it is receiving the most oxygen and undergoing full combustion. I typically use it for banishment/breakdown of barriers or obstacles!

It was in context of creating a pocket Altar and using blue Glass for the water element and the fire element in one to save space in the tin. It's interesting and makes sense because glass cannot be made without fire.

I’d definitely say that you should take the time to find a source that obtain these in a way in keeping with your own personal ethics (many just forage for insects they find already passed, many get them donated from beekeepers etc. I’ll leave what you’re comfortable up to you)

I've done candle meditations and even learnt the different types of waxes which causes them to flicker and such. I used to be forever in trouble as a kid for playing with matches. Now as a grown up if I haven't been near a bonfire or open fire for a while I literally crave it, and feel lethargic and down. It happended last year and I spent months literally craving fire but I couldn't burn one where I was. Whatever small spell candle I lit would inexplicably go berserk and burst into multiple 4ft high flames. I spoke with a wise woman who asked if my fire element might be out of balance. Duh, yep. Lol. New witch here, from the research I've done it makes things confusing so if any can give clarity it would help. Basically there are certain elements you can use depending on certain criteria, or in order to get the best results from an element it needs to be tied to you. Like I'm a fire sign and apparently I need to use fire. These has really confused me because I've felt I connected with water but apparently it doesn't even matter? I do a lot of fire magick and I work a lot with runes, both Egyptian and Nordic. Some runes, depending on what they’re made of, can also represent the fire element.
wow, so much information. last night i dreamed i was at a magick school and learned my natural element was fire. meaning fire magick would be the way to go for me. which i find very amazing. i always get spirit messages in dreams, and i believe this is one. its kinda like video games or even fiction, where your base element is your strongest, so if you want to be the best that you can be, you focus on your own element and train in that. so someone with a main fire element would focus on the fire element. those with water water, air with air, earth with earth. in this regards your magick would be more powerful if you follow through with your own designated element. i always hated in video games where you are the master of everything, because in real life, you cant be the best at everything, someone else is always better. and that ideal follows with me through magick. i have also had dreams about bee's many times, and turns out they are fire element, perhaps my spirit animal is a bee.... interesting none the less. im trying to gather up as much information as i can to grow as a person. . EDIT: I think we should stop with western signs, Aquarius, etc. because it doesn't fit. the chinese zodiac is better. for example i am actually a dragon, which is fire element, and turns out, im fire element. but my western sign is Aquarius, which has the element of air, which is not my element. which would explain why wearing amethyst (high school ring) i ended up having the worst time in my life during that time. everything felt like it was out of control, like a flame being stoked by air..... you could say it made me burn to bright.... where as i wanted to get an garnet or ruby ring, but was advised against it because "it made no sense" as it didn't match my birth month... should have followed my gut, turns out, im a fire warlock....

Anything can be normal, it’s all about your individual connection with an element, that can be influenced by your chart but isn’t dominated by it

I used to be forever in trouble as a kid for playing with matches. Now as a grown up if I haven't been near a bonfire or open fire for a while I literally crave it, and feel lethargic and down. It happended last year and I spent months literally craving fire but I couldn't burn one where I was. Whatever small spell candle I lit would inexplicably go berserk and burst into multiple 4ft high flames. I spoke with a wise woman who asked if my fire element might be out of balance. Duh, yep. Lol. So your video darling Hearth is wonderful and so helpful even for more experienced witches. We are always learning. I am definitely more careful to nurture my fire nature now. Blessings XXX

New witch here, from the research I've done it makes things confusing so if any can give clarity it would help. Basically there are certain elements you can use depending on certain criteria, or in order to get the best results from an element it needs to be tied to you. Like I'm a fire sign and apparently I need to use fire. These has really confused me because I've felt I connected with water but apparently it doesn't even matter? It's really confusing and I'm not sure if I've been fed wrong information or what. Any help would be great!

My mid haven is my only fire sign in my entire chart, but it’s at the top of my chart, 12 o clock. Fire is my favorite element.
There’s so many heavy and serious signs in my chart, so fire just warms me to life.

What do you use fire for in spell work? Meaning what kind of spells manifest best using the fire element? Fire is transforming, destructive….so would that mean if I want to transform or break down a toxic situation I should use fire?
I do a lot of fire magick and I work a lot with runes, both Egyptian and Nordic. Some runes, depending on what they’re made of, can also represent the fire element.

wow, so much information. last night i dreamed i was at a magick school and learned my natural element was fire. meaning fire magick would be the way to go for me. which i find very amazing. i always get spirit messages in dreams, and i believe this is one. its kinda like video games or even fiction, where your base element is your strongest, so if you want to be the best that you can be, you focus on your own element and train in that. so someone with a main fire element would focus on the fire element. those with water water, air with air, earth with earth. in this regards your magick would be more powerful if you follow through with your own designated element. i always hated in video games where you are the master of everything, because in real life, you cant be the best at everything, someone else is always better. and that ideal follows with me through magick. i have also had dreams about bee's many times, and turns out they are fire element, perhaps my spirit animal is a bee.... interesting none the less. im trying to gather up as much information as i can to grow as a person.

EDIT: I think we should stop with western signs, Aquarius, etc. because it doesn't fit. the chinese zodiac is better. for example i am actually a dragon, which is fire element, and turns out, im fire element. but my western sign is Aquarius, which has the element of air, which is not my element. which would explain why wearing amethyst (high school ring) i ended up having the worst time in my life during that time. everything felt like it was out of control, like a flame being stoked by air..... you could say it made me burn to bright.... where as i wanted to get an garnet or ruby ring, but was advised against it because "it made no sense" as it didn't match my birth month... should have followed my gut, turns out, im a fire warlock....

Instead of rock salt you can use black himalayan salt that is very rich in sulphur for fire salt :)

when i was in camp when i was younger i am jewish we had shabbat all of girls light candles some girl hair caught on fire so i am afraid of fire so i can't light a matches i am learning disability
