I made the mistake of attempting a money attracting spell, without cleansing the pennies I used in the spell, right before a job interview. I got the job but I ended up with a super mean boss, a customer screaming violent threats at me while in training still, and eventually getting fired for having to call out sick. To this day I can't even comprehend why in the heck I decided using uncleansed pennies was a good idea (I mean the amount of negative energy those things carry has got to be ridiculousss) Lesson learned, I will never do a magical working without cleansing all my materials first again. :0
I think spell components are important. Take for example: calamus vs licorice for persuasion spells. Calamus is aggressive compared to Licorice which is gentle and subtle.
I believe my Spirit guides are speaking to me before I do spells as take a shower and to make sure I clean my house and ground myself. Now I understand why and thank you for the information
I think a good tip would also be to consult your ancestors, spirits guides, angels, deities, etc. Before casting a spell to see what they think of it. Getting their support or a go signal for your spell definitely helps out a lot with both effectiveness and self protection 👍
I had a backfire years ago. I didn’t know what I was doing and I was naïve to what could happen. I did a money spell. I admit I was desperate & willing to try anything to help my situation! I got back ten fold several money & legal troubles & ended up homeless! I needed a protection spell( hindsight)! I am not trying to be scary or dramatic but I agree 100% with your advice to beginners! It has been about 7 years since.... I have learned so much and I have had many positive experiences!! I‘ve also found it very useful to do a divination before doing a spell if the energy I am sending out will be welcome or not. It still is no guarantee a backfire won’t happen at all but the divination could potentially tell how to change the target or intention of the energy to manifest the desired results. I wouldn’t want to describe the worst backfire I ever had in a UA-cam comment, just a warning: it took an enormous amount of willpower and an extremely painful emotional sacrifice to release this energy and turn everyone’s lives back to normal again. Be careful what you wish for. It was really messy and put several lives into a miserable condition, including mine.

I cast a spell yesterday on a guy who bullied me at work, got me fired and basically stole my job. The spell was worded along the lines of "starting tomorrow everything should return to him threefold, whether it's something negative or positive" and I asked my deities to help me move on. My intention was for all his actions to have consequences and maybe teach him that being good pays off. Well, guess who woke up this morning with a massive, itchy rash all over their face? Me. Apparently the universe just played a reverse UNO card on me and decided to teach me a lesson too. I can almost hear my deities saying, "You want help moving on? Stop F-ing around with him and JUST MOVE ON!". Dully noted! 😅

Yup! But it was to my advantage. I thought I was taking the higher grounds with a bully mum who was treating me and my 5 year old daughter like dirt excluding us in group dates. I thought I’d give a honey jar a go as I felt like I was being the bigger person hoping to reach her better side. Anyways it went HORRIBLY wrong and she wrote a really nasty group inbox to me so everyone could see it. The next day I heard she went INSANE at the kindy teachers who took my side when I heard she was getting her kids to spread nasty rumours about me and my husband so no one would play with our daughter and the teachers told her they had had enough of her bullying. She moved schools and noones heard of her since! 😂 Job well done I say
Just wanted to say I just found your channel this week and I am really enjoying your video's. I also wanted to say thank for how you incorporate different beliefs. While I am not a pagan I am open and really enjoy learning. I am 64 and my background is Christian, while I do not believe in the way I was brought up I still believe in things like candles for prayer, medals for protection, blessed salt and water I also enjoy how you have explained things like Imbolc and Candlemass etc. I am not dissing other sites I have just found a few channels that refuse to take or talk about any Christian stuff. Edit: My experience with a spell backfiring was that I had a bad day the next day. First, I stepped on some poo on the ground on school grounds, next, realizing I had no service on my phone to text or make calls, then I had to run home to go to the bathroom, then also realizing I had no key to enter the house so I was locked out, and finally I had to run to a family member's work to get their key to open the door. And that's just an example of how a spell can backfire.

I'm so glad someone's speaking about this because a lot of channels that talk about manifesting and energy say that the worst thing that can happen from doing a spell is it doesn't come true and that's very misleading. It is often what happens without putting much energy or not manifesting correctly but it's useful to know that depending on the spell and the way you cast it can have other consequences too.
The best protection against backfires while doing any magic on people is to HAVE THEIR PERMISSION. The act of giving permission opens a door for the magic coming through their personal protection. When you do magic on person without permission, it's a rude unwanted manipulation as well as doing a black magic on someone and thus you earn the backfire. This is perfectly fair play and an important life lesson.

I experienced a pretty gnarly backfire when I was a newbie back in the 90's. I conjured a demon to help me and instead it turned on me. I didnt know how to control it so it oppressed and occasionally possessed me for years. During a "dark night of the soul" I called out for spiritual help. My room filled with cleansing white light and an angel or ascended master (I'm still not sure which) came through and healed me. I havent had a demonic-related problem since.
Yes I did have a spell backfire it was a spell that was for my man's my a spell for making a person's love get stronger. what had happened was I don't have all the material for it and I compromised and it had flipped and broke us up but I am in a better relationship now and are love is a hol lot stronger than the last relationship.
Idk if my experience was a “backfire” from the spell specifically, but when I did a spell at the very beginning of my journey without any protection, all the painting on my stairs started to fall down. They made loud bangs as every few minutes each one fell off the wall and toppled down the stairs. My Christian sister was convinced we were all about to die, and my atheist mom had an expression I can only describe as awakening. Long story short, I brought in some cleansing plants and smoke cleansed the whole house

Could you do a video on ways of cleansing your craft space? I really would like to eventually cast spells, but I'm afraid of negative energies/spirits (I've had a lot of small encounters with good ones - or so I think- since I was young. So I'm assuming they must like me and my youngest sister for some reason). But I don't want unwelcome guests or energies potentially inviting them lol.
Play a sound bowl video off your TV and blast it, use incense or herb bundles and get that smoke all around your space, if these aren't a option then you can use a spray with charged water, whether it'd be Sun or Moon water, get every corner once and the center once on each wall, use it to scrub your tables, stands and such. Bells can work too, even clapping, lastly you could just visualize the unwanted energy leaving and your space being filled with whatever color you see neutral energy being.

It's very frustrating when experienced practitioners are trying to teach beginners but they say things like "spiritually cleanse your space", but don't explain what that means. Same with "effectively release the energy". I don't even know what terms to search to try to look it up online.

My first spell ever had a huge backfire. My friend and I tried a very simple protection spell around a place in the woods where we used to gather. At the time we didn't realize that there were other different energies at work in that place, and basically, the place ended up being destroyed. We didn't get to understand what had happened until many years (and a lot of study) later. It's a shame most books for beginners don't tell anything about those possibilities.

I had an important job interview two weeks ago, I really wanted the job, so I made a mojo for a good and successful interview that I carried with me during the job interview. It was the worst interview I've ever had. Of course, the job didn't work. Since then I've been thinking back and forth about what went wrong. I have this jar, that I call the jar of death. I was very VERY new to spell work and still am. I was trying to make a protect mist. A mist that I could spray on myself and veil to help protect me from negative energy. I used many herd and other things, I also put A LOT of energy, (foreshadowing). Then after I started getting weird signs from my spirit guides. I got the feeling something was terribly wrong this that mist. So, I took a step back and realized I had unintentionally put really horrible and negative energy. The whole time making I just kept thinking about all the bad people in my life and how I wanted protect from them, but then it turned into hated. I realized I had put all my hate and frustration and sadness into it. So, I just have a random jar with a terrible terrible potion/spell ( again I'm new, I'm not sure what to call it). I just have it hidden away. I don't know how to "fix" it.
My experience with backfires is that the spell works surprisingly well, but it drains me significantly and I end up in bed sick for a few days. This has only been with big spells that have had explosive results for lack of a better word, but being sick still sucks and I'd like to avoid this if possible. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

I call myself doing an prayer candle for a coworker for protection at work with their permission. I called wrote petition for their Angles Benevolent Ancestors Spirit guides to protect and help them. They ended up getting fired anyway 🤔(wtf) and their teammates like whoa. Then all their Ancestors family and whoever stayed at my home for almost 3 weeks 😑 talking loudly 24/7 with my Ancestors! It was like I had a fam reunion party! It was not scary 😶 just I had to sleep for work! Id turn on my loud fan to help drown the noise... they got louder 😳🤣 At the 3rd week they finally left. I felt like I was on crack and couldn't come down by then 😂. My candle burned clean and my flam was angle wings shaped. I thought that would be an easy thing to do 😆!! Later I was having a reading done and they said I had a fam reunion 😑 🤣. Why they didnt go to my coworker house 🥴
Lots of great information. That you for the post. I have had backfires in the past but nothing really bad, then again I don't do anything on people, just situations. I have had people ask for help and it seemed the more I tried with a spell or whatever the more crap that came down on me. I think you answered that here with the ancestor's thing, and I thank you.
I'm don't know if this counts as a backfire? I recently did a healing work when my daughter was ill. That night she had continual night terrors, was screaming and seeing things, her fever spiked dangerously, and it was like she went through three days of illness in one awful night. She was completely well the next morning - but I learned to be much more specific when asking for "quick healing." I haven't done a healing work since, it really scared me!
It was the healing crisis. It happens always, this is the first phase of all kind of healing. Continue your practice, don't be scared. The result was absolutely amazing (short hours till total recovery is excellent).
I've also had a spell back fire. It was a love spell for someone I really like. We've been friends for awhile, but super shy about the whole commitment thing. I wanted to manifest a relationship, but apparently the energy went to the wrong person. Sometime after my brother brought over one of his friends and the guy became completely infatuated with me which really grossed me out.

There needs to be more info like this available especially for newby witches. I wish I would have had this sort of info when I started out. An example of a backfire for me is when I did a spell for friend that wasn't meant to be negative but she had anger and malice toward the person it involved and so it backfired on both of us! Looking back I realize I did not take enough time to really think clearly and precisely what was the best course of action. Planning, contemplation, and releasing all negativity is so important. It nearly ended our friendship but we got through it and learned a hard lesson!

I am not sure spell work, witchcraft is for me. This stuff is tricky. Trying to decide. It seems that giving it over to a Higher Power works just fine for me.
I think I have experienced a spell backfire in kind of a similar way. What I find happens is if I cast a spell for an ideal job, it keeps me from getting other jobs that are less ideal. So it's left me partially employed for a while, while I wait for the perfect job to come along. I should have specified it come quickly and not to hinder necessary money-making.
I’ve had this exact experience when trying to help someone with learning about hexes and curses. Especially with karmaic workings against people who’ve done you wrong. The angels, demons, protections, etc. surrounding individuals is extremely powerful.

Without too many details I did a return to sender spell on someone I thought put a spell on me. Well it backfired on me. This happened years ago as a baby witch and since then I only use spell work on myself or on situations. Because my spell came back to me, I completely cancelled it by cleansing myself until things were restored.
I recently had a spell that almost worked, but right at the end of the work I had introduced doubt and hesitancy into the spell, and that translated into me becoming hesitant just as I was sure that the spell had worked, and suddenly everything backfired. It was a hard lesson I had to learn, especially since I normally welcome negative spirits into my space for things like shadow work. But you can't do shadow work while performing a spell not related to it, so sometimes you do have to set aside those negative feelings and spirits.

I'm a baby witch but with my experience if you have negative feelings or thoughts about the spell then it might not work. I made a honey jar for someone and it worked, idk why I felt like I needed to do another one and it has backfired. The day after making it I was STRESSING about it not working, and guess what. 😒
I once had a friend ask me to cast a hex on her former partner. As I was halfway through she changed her mind and wanted me to nullify it. Unfortunately the hex rebounded on my and bounced between us for several months until our own friendship dissolved. That's one of the hardest lessons I've learned in witchcraft, and I'm making it a personal policy to never hex on someone else's behalf.
Good to know. Im considering doing deity work and perhaps involving that in a working to get a good paying job. Did first working last Thursday, a prosperity spell... on a waning moon...with an uncleansed athame... and a LOT of energy put into it. Yes. I have noticed recently when I do workings with candles, they all have backfired. I get better results with herbs, crystals, and mojo bags

I‘ve also found it very useful to do a divination before doing a spell if the energy I am sending out will be welcome or not. It still is no guarantee a backfire won’t happen at all but the divination could potentially tell how to change the target or intention of the energy to manifest the desired results.
I wouldn’t want to describe the worst backfire I ever had in a UA-cam comment, just a warning: it took an enormous amount of willpower and an extremely painful emotional sacrifice to release this energy and turn everyone’s lives back to normal again. Be careful what you wish for. It was really messy and put several lives into a miserable condition, including mine.
One backfire I witnessed on a magic-related message board was someone whose workings hoping to attract a given love interest resulted in the practitioner's ever-deepening obsession over the target, to the extent of negative consequences in their own life, while their target remained (at least seemingly) unaffected.
I cast a spell yesterday on a guy who bullied me at work, got me fired and basically stole my job. The spell was worded along the lines of "starting tomorrow everything should return to him threefold, whether it's something negative or positive" and I asked my deities to help me move on. My intention was for all his actions to have consequences and maybe teach him that being good pays off.
Well, guess who woke up this morning with a massive, itchy rash all over their face? Me.
Apparently the universe just played a reverse UNO card on me and decided to teach me a lesson too. I can almost hear my deities saying, "You want help moving on? Stop F-ing around with him and JUST MOVE ON!".

Yup! But it was to my advantage. I thought I was taking the higher grounds with a bully mum who was treating me and my 5 year old daughter like dirt excluding us in group dates. I thought I’d give a honey jar a go as I felt like I was being the bigger person hoping to reach her better side.
Anyways it went HORRIBLY wrong and she wrote a really nasty group inbox to me so everyone could see it.
The next day I heard she went INSANE at the kindy teachers who took my side when I heard she was getting her kids to spread nasty rumours about me and my husband so no one would play with our daughter and the teachers told her they had had enough of her bullying.
She moved schools and noones heard of her since! 😂

Just wanted to say I just found your channel this week and I am really enjoying your video's. I also wanted to say thank for how you incorporate different beliefs. While I am not a pagan I am open and really enjoy learning. I am 64 and my background is Christian, while I do not believe in the way I was brought up I still believe in things like candles for prayer, medals for protection, blessed salt and water I also enjoy how you have explained things like Imbolc and Candlemass etc. I am not dissing other sites I have just found a few channels that refuse to take or talk about any Christian stuff. Edit: My experience with a spell backfiring was that I had a bad day the next day. First, I stepped on some poo on the ground on school grounds, next, realizing I had no service on my phone to text or make calls, then I had to run home to go to the bathroom, then also realizing I had no key to enter the house so I was locked out, and finally I had to run to a family member's work to get their key to open the door.
And that's just an example of how a spell can backfire.

I'm so glad someone's speaking about this because a lot of channels that talk about manifesting and energy say that the worst thing that can happen from doing a spell is it doesn't come true and that's very misleading. It is often what happens without putting much energy or not manifesting correctly but it's useful to know that depending on the spell and the way you cast it can have other consequences too.

The best protection against backfires while doing any magic on people is to HAVE THEIR PERMISSION. The act of giving permission opens a door for the magic coming through their personal protection. When you do magic on person without permission, it's a rude unwanted manipulation as well as doing a black magic on someone and thus you earn the backfire. This is perfectly fair play and an important life lesson.

I experienced a pretty gnarly backfire when I was a newbie back in the 90's. I conjured a demon to help me and instead it turned on me. I didnt know how to control it so it oppressed and occasionally possessed me for years. During a "dark night of the soul" I called out for spiritual help. My room filled with cleansing white light and an angel or ascended master (I'm still not sure which) came through and healed me. I havent had a demonic-related problem since.
Probably shouldn't conjure demons then. Try petitioning Angels instead. Blessed be.

Yes I did have a spell backfire it was a spell that was for my man's my a spell for making a person's love get stronger. what had happened was I don't have all the material for it and I compromised and it had flipped and broke us up but I am in a better relationship now and are love is a hol lot stronger than the last relationship.

Idk if my experience was a “backfire” from the spell specifically, but when I did a spell at the very beginning of my journey without any protection, all the painting on my stairs started to fall down. They made loud bangs as every few minutes each one fell off the wall and toppled down the stairs. My Christian sister was convinced we were all about to die, and my atheist mom had an expression I can only describe as awakening. Long story short, I brought in some cleansing plants and smoke cleansed the whole house

I've just cast a binding spell on a group of 4 individuals and the strife that they have caused those around them. No backfiring that I am aware of, but thank you for this video to make (myself and) others aware of the dangers.

I really would like to eventually cast spells, but I'm afraid of negative energies/spirits (I've had a lot of small encounters with good ones - or so I think- since I was young. So I'm assuming they must like me and my youngest sister for some reason). But I don't want unwelcome guests or energies potentially inviting them lol.
Play a sound bowl video off your TV and blast it, use incense or herb bundles and get that smoke all around your space, if these aren't a option then you can use a spray with charged water, whether it'd be Sun or Moon water, get every corner once and the center once on each wall, use it to scrub your tables, stands and such. Bells can work too, even clapping, lastly you could just visualize the unwanted energy leaving and your space being filled with whatever color you see neutral energy being.

It's very frustrating when experienced practitioners are trying to teach beginners but they say things like "spiritually cleanse your space", but don't explain what that means. Same with "effectively release the energy". I don't even know what terms to search to try to look it up online.

My first spell backfired. I didn't use a circle. I asked for something to happen and things aligned wrongly and came back at me negatively. I now know how to prevent it and how to use spell work safely so thanks. 😊

My first spell ever had a huge backfire. My friend and I tried a very simple protection spell around a place in the woods where we used to gather. At the time we didn't realize that there were other different energies at work in that place, and basically, the place ended up being destroyed. We didn't get to understand what had happened until many years (and a lot of study) later. It's a shame most books for beginners don't tell anything about those possibilities.

I had an important job interview two weeks ago, I really wanted the job, so I made a mojo for a good and successful interview that I carried with me during the job interview. It was the worst interview I've ever had. Of course, the job didn't work. Since then I've been thinking back and forth about what went wrong. And when you said it, put it to me right away, I haven't cleaned some of the objects before. Now it makes sense.
This sounds scary. How to do release energy properly. I did it seemed like the person had better time then me and it wasn’t a curse but a separation spell. I got through.
I recommend meditating and getting in a really focused head space, feeling and envisioning the energy and intent within you transferring into the spell. Maybe taking a ritual bath after to cleanse.

I have this jar, that I call the jar of death. I was very VERY new to spell work and still am. I was trying to make a protect mist. A mist that I could spray on myself and veil to help protect me from negative energy. I used many herd and other things, I also put A LOT of energy, (foreshadowing). Then after I started getting weird signs from my spirit guides. I got the feeling something was terribly wrong this that mist. So, I took a step back and realized I had unintentionally put really horrible and negative energy. The whole time making I just kept thinking about all the bad people in my life and how I wanted protect from them, but then it turned into hated. I realized I had put all my hate and frustration and sadness into it. So, I just have a random jar with a terrible terrible potion/spell ( again I'm new, I'm not sure what to call it). I just have it hidden away. I don't know how to "fix" it.
My experience with backfires is that the spell works surprisingly well, but it drains me significantly and I end up in bed sick for a few days. This has only been with big spells that have had explosive results for lack of a better word, but being sick still sucks and I'd like to avoid this if possible.
Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

I call myself doing an prayer candle for a coworker for protection at work with their permission. I called wrote petition for their Angles Benevolent Ancestors Spirit guides to protect and help them. They ended up getting fired anyway 🤔(wtf) and their teammates like whoa. Then all their Ancestors family and whoever stayed at my home for almost 3 weeks 😑 talking loudly 24/7 with my Ancestors! It was like I had a fam reunion party! It was not scary 😶 just I had to sleep for work! Id turn on my loud fan to help drown the noise...
they got louder 😳🤣 At the 3rd week they finally left. I felt like I was on crack and couldn't come down by then 😂. My candle burned clean and my flam was angle wings shaped. I thought that would be an easy thing to do 😆!! Later I was having a reading done and they said I had a fam reunion 😑 🤣. Why they didnt go to my coworker house 🥴

I'm don't know if this counts as a backfire? I recently did a healing work when my daughter was ill. That night she had continual night terrors, was screaming and seeing things, her fever spiked dangerously, and it was like she went through three days of illness in one awful night. She was completely well the next morning - but I learned to be much more specific when asking for "quick healing." I haven't done a healing work since, it really scared me!
It was the healing crisis. It happens always, this is the first phase of all kind of healing. Continue your practice, don't be scared. The result was absolutely amazing (short hours till total recovery is excellent).
I've also had a spell back fire. It was a love spell for someone I really like. We've been friends for awhile, but super shy about the whole commitment thing. I wanted to manifest a relationship, but apparently the energy went to the wrong person. Sometime after my brother brought over one of his friends and the guy became completely infatuated with me which really grossed me out.

Well done! It's always refreshing to hear what you have to teach. Very thorough and you have a great deal of experience and knowledge. There needs to be more info like this available especially for newby witches. I wish I would have had this sort of info when I started out. An example of a backfire for me is when I did a spell for friend that wasn't meant to be negative but she had anger and malice toward the person it involved and so it backfired on both of us! Looking back I realize I did not take enough time to really think clearly and precisely what was the best course of action. Planning, contemplation, and releasing all negativity is so important. It nearly ended our friendship but we got through it and learned a hard lesson!

it definately happened to me, all of it. Gonna try to cover all the bases, since I lost money, and the boy i liked after trying to attract them. I'm super sad now, i mean it could have all been a coincidence, but I feel like maybe I didnt cleanse my stuff strongly enough. Cleansing is absolutely mandatory. I learned this the hard way. Also working hexes against my horrible neighbor doesn't work... But her car is another matter! I always know when it's Six thirty in the morning because her piece of crap car squeals and screeches all the way down her driveway and all the way down the street as she heads to her job at the Waffle House. HA!

There is a plethora of reasons why a spell can backfire but most revolve around two main reasons: who is more powerful & how much do you actually believe the spell will work.

I am not sure spell work, witchcraft is for me. This stuff is tricky. Trying to decide. It seems that giving it over to a Higher Power works just fine for me.
I call on a Higher Power when doing my work. The path is your own really.
I think I have experienced a spell backfire in kind of a similar way. What I find happens is if I cast a spell for an ideal job, it keeps me from getting other jobs that are less ideal. So it's left me partially employed for a while, while I wait for the perfect job to come along. I should have specified it come quickly and not to hinder necessary money-making.

I’ve had this exact experience when trying to help someone with learning about hexes and curses. Especially with karmaic workings against people who’ve done you wrong. The angels, demons, protections, etc. surrounding individuals is extremely powerful.

Interesting. I don’t know if it is backfired spell but I sent a petition for a certain legal situation to be resolved with justice and the debt to be repaid fully. A couple of days later my solicitor quit on me. I immediately felt it was a good thing, it was frustrating but it made me feel that if I am to win in this case, it is with a different solicitor. So I see it as unexpected readjustment for the ultimate goal.

Yes, I've noticed a Negative Backfire when I cast a Spell just on money in a small bowl of seven one dollar bills that have seven's on them and with Bay Leafs and with Crystals and the bowl and Crystals and Bay leafs and money was all cleansed and a while later it was like a Backfire of Negative in the house, I think it was from others bringing Negative in the house that Backfired that reversed the Spell,...

Without too many details I did a return to sender spell on someone I thought put a spell on me. Well it backfired on me. This happened years ago as a baby witch and since then I only use spell work on myself or on situations. Because my spell came back to me, I completely cancelled it by cleansing myself until things were restored.

I recently had a spell that almost worked, but right at the end of the work I had introduced doubt and hesitancy into the spell, and that translated into me becoming hesitant just as I was sure that the spell had worked, and suddenly everything backfired. It was a hard lesson I had to learn, especially since I normally welcome negative spirits into my space for things like shadow work. But you can't do shadow work while performing a spell not related to it, so sometimes you do have to set aside those negative feelings and spirits.
so i did my research all day and decided to try a protection spell. i don’t think i used anything bad but i’m really paranoid i did something wrong so if anyone’s reading this can you give me advice lol
I'm a baby witch but with my experience if you have negative feelings or thoughts about the spell then it might not work. I made a honey jar for someone and it worked, idk why I felt like I needed to do another one and it has backfired. The day after making it I was STRESSING about it not working, and guess what. 😒
I once had a friend ask me to cast a hex on her former partner. As I was halfway through she changed her mind and wanted me to nullify it. Unfortunately the hex rebounded on my and bounced between us for several months until our own friendship dissolved. That's one of the hardest lessons I've learned in witchcraft, and I'm making it a personal policy to never hex on someone else's behalf.

Good to know. Im considering doing deity work and perhaps involving that in a working to get a good paying job. I am terrified to do so at risk of it backfiring because anything having to affect the free will or natural course of things is always a huge risk and scoring an interview falls under that umbrella
Did first working last Thursday, a prosperity spell... on a waning moon...with an uncleansed athame... and a LOT of energy put into it. Couple days later got scammed out of £225... hopefully it didn't completely backfire as I have a job interview tomorrow and that was the main purpose of the working and I haven't time to properly undo it. Imma just cleanse and pray hahaha

I personally counted it as a plus, but the first protection spell I did was for the nightmares I had been having, and I added violets. For a while after I frequently had lucid dreams and some about future events.
