This was a fun way to say goodbye to Alpha 20 ... this base was incredible to build and doing it live with the community made it even more special to me. I hope y'all enjoy it, and if you want to see the construction process, go check out the links to the livestream in the description. Tell me what I should have done differently ... or what I should build first in Alpha 21!
Love alll the purple. And the fancy ramp, and as always the awesome lighting! And the perfectly structurally secure orb. I never, ever build things that are waaay in the red. xD
Great Looking base... Awesome Base Ramp. Curious how you managed to overcome the games default Structural Integrity issues when building it. (as it always seems to collapse when following your exact build measurements).
Most of this base is very sound structurally speaking. The only exception would be the orbs. The center orb is VERY red to the point of any block lost in the mid level possibly collapsing the orb. I stretched the boundaries for the look. Do you use dev mode when building to check structural integrity? If not, I highly recommend it. Really helps with larger structures like this.
@@WaywardEko Hi Ecko. Have really been working a lot on attempting to replicate this ramp design. (yes using dev mode and in game). No build I have tried allowed this design to hold itself up with collapse of the structure (without support) happens at the 9th row, yet you have somehow managed to get it to hold itself up all the way to the 11th row where you commence the support arm. Would really love to see how you built this (as I think is amazing and would love to include it in one of my bases).
I just came by to see someone else's pain and suffering. 21 horde actually broke out a few of my cobblestone blocks. Thank goodness I was wise enough to double-wall it and dig down by 3 lol.

Just popping back in to say this is my favorite base of yours! Taking some inspiration points here for my next base build 😁
Looking forward to seeing it!!
That effect at 14:28 was 💵💵💵
I was happy how that turned out! Just trying some fun new edit effects.
It was fun watching you build this during the streams! It turned out beautifully! Will probably use that ramp. I love it! Great job Eko!
Thanks so much and thanks again for joining the streams! Expect more of those during A21!!

Yeah ... the orb is sketchy AF ... but it looks great :) Form over function!
Your analytical and detailed breakdown of the how to is simply amazing Eko! Keep it up man!
Thanks so much!!
Love that base! The ramp is really cool. Can't wait for A21.

No pain here!!!
Man, your builds are insane! You make me want to be an awesome builder too 😂
Thanks so much! Your channel has been popping!! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Cheers, I hope I can keep the momentum going. With A21 around the corner there's lots for us all to look forward to.
