Literally got my Murray Pro board delivered 2 hrs ago with Remix bindings. Had to go 2022 model for the red/white/blue! I’m 42 yrs old and my goal is to land a tantrum again. My last board purchased new was a Double Up Luke Wulf 20 yrs ago, the one I learned to tantrum on. Thanks for your motivation to middle-aged men!
Stoked! Luke Double Up board is a def throwback. Did you know that Greg Nelson shaped that board/owned Double up, and he and I shape my boards
@@Shaun.Murray That’s awesome, didn’t know that. I found the board in my attic recently and realized the graphics have a SandCar in the dunes. That happens to be my favorite hobby right now. Makes the board even cooler! Tell him thanks for such a weird/unique design back in the day :) And thanks for your videos. Your board was my only option to support your content. 👍

Have you ever done a video on how your organize your boat? Appreciate the “OCD” comment and your vest locker looks like mine except I like how you have your stuff separate. It’d be cool to see how you/others keep their toys organized.

I am SO glad to see you’re still in the sport, at whatever capacity! You were always my favorite rider. At times, others might have had a couple more technical tricks in their bag, but nobody ever came close to your style and good nature. IMO. You’re a great asset to the sport. To this day, whenever I hear “Walking on the Sun” I remember your shot in some VHS video, probably put out by hyperlite? Hopefully I remember that right 😂 Wishing you many more years of success in the sport!

Nice new boat, your last was a Paragon G23?, so back to a regular G, not that the Nautique is anything regular. My 2014 G25 still holds strong, but might be time for an upgrade. Would love to see your practical opinion from an everyday use perspective.

I have owned three Nautique’s I loved them to the fullest. But financial part of getting my fourth was not happening. Do, I own a Surf Surpreme as you know owned by Correct Craft . Love our boat . Keep this great videos coming

Beautiful Nautique. I paid $8900 for my first new Ski Nautique in 1979 (not including trailer) and wow, have they come a long way. Although the wake felt about as big yours when you hit it through the slalom course... lol.

Any chance you can do an in depth video on the tantrum? Been struggling for years on leaving too early and not “popping” of the wake and getting “tripped” into the flip.

@@Shaun.Murray oh yes, bought that back when it came out, learned how to do the tantrum from it, but these last few years I have lost it because I’m flipping too early at the bottom of the wake, any pointers for now leaving too early?

Wanted to run the G this year. One of the bigger reasons is bc it's not as heavy empty and can get the wake a little smaller for newer wakeboarders, or when I don't want a big ol wake wakeboarding, which is sometimes.

So you have the extending tower, but it’s not a Paragon? I heard you can get that tower on regular G series boats now…
Paragon telescoping tower is 3 sections and a G is 2 sections

I would compare wakeboarding as a novice behind a fully loaded boat to snowboarding as a novice and hitting 70’ jumps. Learn your tricks on small jumps, then go bigger.

The price of these new boats is unrealistic for 99% of the general public. Over $300,000!? At what point do the prices level off? Will it be half a million for a speed boat in the near future? I guess the profit on what Nautique makes on each boat compared to what it costs to make one, maybe they don't need to sell that many.
Hard to know how it's going to keep on increasing.
I'd be up for a boat donation next year when you are tired of this one. 😏
