There is a key note here the Archery skill is called marksman in the level command for some reason not archery.

Found exactly what I was looking for. Finally got Skyrim on PC and am just messing around with the commands
This is the list of skills verified to work using the AdvSkill and IncPCS commands, as well as SetAv, ForceAv, and ModAv.
Note that AdvSkill will act as if the skill was gained naturally (causing a progress in leveling), while SetAv does not and allows player to set skills beyond 100.

It doesn’t let me pick out the points after maxing out the spell. Is it a glitch?
The safest way I found to not break your save, say you just want 100 smithing or something and don't care abt gaining experience from it. You can use the setav command. Always make sure to save, tho cause you may find bugs starting to happen if you mess around with your level too much. you are mant to level up and grow with the game, so changing from level 11 to level 81 in .0 of a second can take its toll
Setav is a bad idea. Use advskill instead. The game treats it like you naturally leveled up even if you leveled up in a split second. Setav is just giving you the max level with no progress and no perks so the game will start to mess up later on. I know this because I learned from the mistake.
erm do you the console command to apply legendary on a particular skill that already maxed out to level drop back to level 15? I don't know what happened to my game, but apparently my legendary "button" seems like not working at all after the latest update

@@mitchellsuppa4472 archery and speech aren't called archery and speech when using console. they're called marksman and speechcraft. hope that helps!

Almost every console commands are 100% safe. Sometimes they can even help with bugs. One major problem with using console is that it will disable achievements.

But with legendary skill, press space and put 9999999, I can only get 2 perks max. You have to do this every time to get all perks? That takes forever...
